After our boat was damaged in a fire Yachtfish provided a timely and reasonable estimate of repairs, picking up on damage other yards had not noticed. They got us in a month before any other yards. Tony and Shawn were great, giving us opportunity for input and even letting us do a few things ourselves that we wanted to do. The work was superb and of professional quality, although we were in the yards over 2 months we still got to use the boat this summer. I would recommend Yachtfish marine to other boaters needing major / minor repairs or regular maintenance
According to the written estimate, Yachtfish Marine received our sailboat sometime between July 5th and 8th. The used boat is brand new to us and we were looking forward to a summer of sailing. Yachtfish finally completed the work (take the boat off of the trailer, paint the bottom, rig and step the mast and use the lift to put the boat in the water) on August 21st. When we dropped the boat off, we understood that it would take 2 weeks. They had the boat 6 weeks! Yachts came into the boatyard and left while our sailboat sat on blocks. We were not allowed to do any of the work that we would have been doing if it were not stuck in the boatyard. I paid for a month of moorage that we couldn't use! And, to top it all off, after being up on blocks on the side of a highway, the boat was really dirty when it was launched. They didn't even hose it off! One star is way too generous.
I cannot express how impressed I am with Yachtfish Marine! After our yacht had some serious mechanical issues, we were in a tight spot. From the moment we contacted them for help, they provided exemplary service. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting our yacht back in top shape. From the initial assessment to the final repair, they communicated every step of the process, and we always felt well-informed. The quality of their work is outstanding. Our yacht now runs better than ever, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They took the time to explain the repairs, and we felt confident in their expertise. What truly stood out was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and our questions were answered. The turnaround time was impressive, and they were upfront about pricing, so there were no hidden surprises. If you're looking for a marine repair service that is reliable, skilled, and genuinely cares about its customers, Yachtfish Marine is the place to go. We're incredibly grateful for their excellent work, and we'll definitely be returning for any future yacht maintenance needs. Highly recommended! Thank you, Yachtfish Marine, for your exceptional service and for going the extra mile to get our yacht back on the water! I hope this review helps convey a positive experience with Yachtfish Marine's yacht repair service. You can personalize it with your specific experiences and details to make it more authentic.
Billed for services not done, tried to bill for services already paid for, very rude lady in the office, that was the cause of all my problems.
I would concur with other review about the rude lady in the office. I had pleasant and respectful interactions with the rest of the staff during a recent haul out. I went back a few days later to clarify a charge and was treated quite rudely. I maintained a gracious composure in questioning whether I should be charged for moving the boat 20 yards after leaving the outboard ready on my boat. I received a very condescending attitude and no willingness to clarify or negotiate. I am not sure if I will do business with them again.
Today the boat yard completed the work being done on our 48' Trawler. The work was done on time, correctly, and under budget! We are extremely happy with the yard. Every care was taken to make sure our property was safe. This is the best dealings we have had with any boat yard in the 20 years we have been boating. Thank you Shawn!

Well, we're old and we don't need the space or the attention that a large Hatt needs anymore. Our grandsons are grown so most of our cruising days are just the two of us. Plus, the Bayliner will be easier for us to handle and maintain. We don't plan long trips anymore - just exploring Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands up to Desolation Sound. The Bayliner works for that. But believe me, we have apprehension - it's a big change.

We don't plan long trips anymore - just exploring Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands up to Desolation Sound. The Bayliner works for that. But believe me, we have apprehension - it's a big change. Whilst on a cruise ro Alaska, I struck up a conversation with a ‘trophy wife’ looking young lady in the ships gym. Her much older husband came over. Then we passed a Bayliner 45 way down below us. The husband became emotional. I asked what’s wrong and he replied “My first wife and I had one, and we totally enjoyed the freedom, and used it all the time.”, then he showed me photos of his 168’ Christensen that lives in a covered slip with a full crew in Vancouver- that his new wife here wanted. But it was so big, and such a expensive PITA to move, that they now took Cruise Ships to Alaska. You know who else had Bayliners? Neil Armstrong first had a 4788, then a 5788. Same with the past Minister of the Interior for New Zealand. Adolf Coors (of the beer) had a 4788 in Hilton Head. A South American President had a 4788 in Miami. They could come and go without anyone paying attention, nor have to worry about their Grandchildren being kidnapped. I started getting clues about these Bayliner owners when I would pick owners up at private terminals who arrived in their own jets. My website is “Meridianpilothouse.com” - I let the domain Bayliner Pilothouse. Com expire when I retired five yers ago. My website is THE authority on the 45’ -580 Pilothouses. Lots of Photos (going back into the early nineties ) and links there
