Once the crown city of Croatian kings, Biograd na moru is a well-known tourist and nautical centre as well as the centre of the Biograd Riviera.

The town lies on a peninsula surrounded by modern marinas and a promenade with an unforgettable view of the Pašman canal and the islands that are scattered around.

The city has preserved some traces of roman time, while the remains of two churches date from the Early Croatian period. In the 18th century the parish church of St. Anastasia was built. It’s worth visiting the homeland museum in which you can see the archaeological collection of the prehistoric, antique and Early Croatian exhibits, and a collection of ship cargo from the 16th century. In the summer time, the entertainment in Biograd will be provided by numerous exhibitions, concerts of popular and classical music, a cappella singing and folklore, performances of the majorettes and memorable celebration of the Biograd night in August.

Marina Šangulin

Sangulin Marina is situated in the center of Croatian Adriatic coast, between Zadar and Split, in Biograd in the natural bay of the peninsula of the city itself, protected from all winds.  Sangulin Marina seems to be a part of the Kornati Marina and provides a convenient and well-organised base in the heart of this yachting mecca. It is an extremely popular destination for yachting races and regattas due to the excellent wind in the Pasman Channel. Annually, more than 40 domestic and international regattas of all classes are hosted in this region. All the amenities of the town of Biograd na Moru are a short walk away from the marina.

Marina Kornati in Biograd is known as a leading charter destination on the Adriatic. The modern marina has three interconnected units:

The opening of Marina Kornati in Biograd in 1974 laid the foundation for sailing tourism in Croatia. In the meantime, the harbour has more than 750 moorings for sailing yachts, motorboats or catamarans. The harbour entrance is 40m wide and 6.50m deep. The largest Croatian boat show is held annually at the end of October on the grounds of Marina Kornati with around 50,000 visitors.

There are good supply possibilities nearby. In Biograd there is a daily fish and farmers' market in the morning. The large supermarkets Konzum, Plodine, Lidl and Merkator are about 3 minutes by car from the marina and are also open on Sundays.

Getting to Biograd Na Moru in Croatia

Marina Kornati is located only 35 kilometres from Zadar Airport. The transfer from the airport to the marina takes about 30 minutes and can be arranged with our reliable taxi service. If a shuttle is required, please let us know at least one week before the charter. Due to its close proximity to the motorway (Benkovac exit), Biograd is also easy to reach by car from Germany and Austria. Here the distances are:

• Munich: 750 km
• Salzburg: 600 km
• Vienna: 660 km
• Graz: 500 km

Parking is available at the marina and is guarded around the clock. The cost is € 8.00 per day.

Angelina Yachtcharter gladly welcomes you to the Biograd Boat Show 2021, which we are pleased to be a part of. Our Seamaster 45 "Fortuna" will be on display during the exhibition, in front of the booth, at a specific berth G45 in the water. 

The Cobra-Yachts shipyard's newest and most demanding masterpiece is the SEAMASTER 45. Its modern style blends well with the opulent ambiance. You have the finest perspective of everything going on around you thanks to the panoramic view in the salon. The Biograd Boat Show is routinely hosted in Marina Kornati in Biograd, one of the Adriatic's three major marinas. In 2020, the Biograd Boat Show was one of only three boat exhibits staged in Europe during the pandemic, with over 250 registered exhibitors and just slightly fewer boats than the previous year's record fair. During such occasions, Marina Kornati attracts an incredible 50,000 sailors, making it unique on the Adriatic. The Show is distinguished by the welcoming atmosphere of the picturesque seaside host city Biograd na Moru. Marina Kornati's center and western sections are connected by a bascule pontoon bridge, creating an unusual and engaging exhibition experience.
