You’ve come to the right boat!  We offer charter boat trips from Brighton Marina, for deep sea wreck fishing or diving – explore the hundreds of wrecks and reefs of all shapes and sizes, providing a safe haven for fish in the English channel.

If you would like to charter the boat or just come along on your own, we offer individual fishing and Diving trips for the experienced and novice angler/diver, and are always willing to help improve your skills.

Brighton Diver is a fast and very stable 40ft Catapult catamaran, with 1300BHP and over 90ft of fishing rail. There is a large bench that can accommodate 12 divers or anglers equipment and seating.

Brighton Diver is fitted with a full diver lift, which makes easy entry and exit to the water. Brighton Diver is one of the top charter boats on the south coast and is proudly sponsored by Daiwa Sports . It’s regularly seen on Sky Sports Tight lines  show .

We offer a range of fishing day trip packages throughout the year. Our 4-hour day trips are available all year, from 6 am to 10 am, or 11 am to 3 pm. From June to August, you can enjoy a twilight fishing experience between 5 pm and 9 pm.

For an exciting fishing experience around a deep-sea wreck, enjoy a 6-hour session with us from 7 am to 2 pm, or to keep your trip short and sweet, why not arrange a 2-hour wind farm trip, which operates all year round between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm.

We spent a day sailing with Anton and his boat and were very happy! It was a very special occasion, as we wanted to watch the start of the Ocean Globe Race 2023 from the water. We were able to reach the competing boats and had a wonderful day. Communication with Anton was very easy, the Marina easy to reach and the boat in perfect conditions. Thank you for everything Anton!

I wanted to organise something for my husband's 50th later in August but then we decided to go sooner, impromptu, as the weather in London is simply calling for a boat trip! Crew and Captain were very friendly and professional, yet at a distance as one expects from a 5-star service on a yacht. As an extra we had an amazing meal prepared from scratch on board by one of Gaucho restaurants top Chefs - very nice day which turned into a magical evening!

This is a terrific charter. A perfect boat for sightseeing (I'd say 5 is about the max unless you have kids) and a well trained, very professional crew to ensure you have an amazing time on the water. Highly recommend!

Upcoming Individual Spaces on Yellowfin

Just back in from a cracking off shore wrecking trip with Kurt the skipper, I had 8 Pollock gave 2 away and managed to put 2 back that hadn't blown. My biggest 2 for the day were 12lb and 11lb 7oz the others 5 to 6lb. If you want a skipper that will put you on the fish, but remember you need to catch and get them to the boat then you will struggle to find any better. It's my 6th trip out with Kurt and yet again a cracking day afloat. Roll on the next one.

Fished With Kurt on an early Season Wreck Fishing Trip for Pollack ...Great Skipper and Crew ..Kurt worked hard fofind a better stamp of fish !!!! After almost 35 miles of wreck hopping it paid off as i managed a Pollock of 9lb ish..I can not wait to get back out again when the better stamp of fish show up.Great effort and a greeat day despite the cold.Thank you Kurt

This was my first trip out with Kurt wreck fishing.I had become rather disillusioned with the way i had been treated by another boat out of Brighton.Kurt put in a real shift to find a better quality stamp of fish which he duly did I had my PB Pollack of 16.8Ib.Top Skipper with fantastic knowledge very friendly and helpful...Highly recommended looking forward to sailing with you again.Many thanks Mark

great day out with Kurt. the conditions were not looking great with a choppy sea and windy but with unexpected sunshine. Kurt put us right on the pollock and good sport was had through the day with fish up to around 10lb and fighting hard. Lost a couple of good fish but the biggest surprise for me and all was catching a nice Turbot. This is the second time out with Kurt this year and must say he puts the effort and miles in to get you on the fish. Thank you Kurt. Cliff and Dave.

Great day out on a superb charter boat hosted by Kurt and John. Fishing was a bit slow with tides not so good in our favour but the skipper tried many spots to try and get us on the fish. We did catch numerous small fish of varying species including a nice little Bass for new mate Tom. Plenty of local advice on the right tackle etc. Bait supplied too which is always a bonus. Need to try winter months for those big Pollack next time. All in all a lovely trip and I will return without a doubt.

Pollack fishing on Yellowfin charter Brighton... the weather has been a big challenge this Pollack season so much wind unfortunately cancelled lots trips. But when we've managed to get a day out on the offshore wrecks customer's have been getting on the Pollack some more than others as a skipper younwant all your customer's to catch but unfortunately it doesn't always work out. Saturday 4th March Our third offshore pollack fishing trip this March. Off to a early departure heading off over the horizon to a Wreck a mix group of customer's all hopefully for a good days fishing. We'll they all got what they came for some more than others but all caught some lovely Pollack. Jamie in the picture now called Jammy Jamie had 8 pollack and this rather large specimen fortunately the pollack had spawned as have most we are now catching. This was his first time Pollack fishing and he caught all his fish on a good range of Lures. ........ we have spaces on board Yellowfin charter Brighton for single or group's. Happy Fishing people.

A new record this season on Yellowfin charter Brighton 14 spieces caught in one trip.Come Fishing on our fast spacious catamaran built on the Isle of Wight by South Boats . You can fish from all round the boat when drifting get 8 people down one side of the boat and some round the stern. We have an experienced and professional team of instructors that teach: RYA Sailing Level 1, RYA Sailing Level 2 and RYA Sailing Level 3.

Our sailing courses are run on our 24ft Delphia Keelboats. A Keelboat is a step up in size from dinghies, more like a small manageable yacht but not as big as a cruising yacht. They can bridge the gap between dinghies and cruisers, offering many benefits of both, to the adult beginner. Yacht sailing is on bigger sailing yacht and requires different more intensive training, such as; RYA Competent Crew and RYA Dayskipper.

The two day RYA Sailing Level 1

Our "Learn to Sail" course is run over two weekends and covers RYA Sailing Level 1 and Level 2. By the end you should be able to take a small sail boat out to sea confidently in light weather conditions.

Maximum 4 persons per boat. The instructor will be onboard for most of the training but they start to teach from the safety boat in the level 2 to give you more independence.

Over weekends, from March to October. We do also run one weekday courses and private tuition.

The courses start from our base in Brighton Marina: Pontoon 6, Brighton Marina, Brighton, East Sussex BN2 5UP, UK.

We provide specialist equipment. In the winter months it can be cold, thermals, fleeces, woolly hats are all useful to have. During the summer months bring sun hats, sun block and sun glasses. Quick drying clothes can be very practical instead of jeans and good none slip, non marking footwear. Trainers often work well. We hire out our Musto waterproofs if required.

Part of the enjoyment of sailing is being out in the elements, so it is important to be versatile to make the best of the conditions. If we cannot sail on a day due to weather conditions we will endeavour to cover theory and other useful skills such as mooring practice, rigging and de-rigging. At times we might cut short a course in which case you will be offered further day/s/times at another suitable date.

We have our Coastal Sailing Club, that gives regular access to the water with clinics and racing for members. For more information go on our Coastal Sailing Club

Charter Boat: Yellowfin

Offering charter trips from Brighton Marina.

Yellowfin is a fast, spacious and stable boat that can easily reach the mid channel wrecks and further afield. The Sussex coast offers rich and varied fishing to sea anglers, there are literally hundreds of productive wrecks to fish for Cod, Pollack, Ling, Bass and Conger to name just a few.

Drift the sandbanks for Turbot, Brill, Blonde and Undulate Rays (all rays are released), or do some ‘inshore’ fishing for Plaice, Cod, Tope, Smooth-hound, Mackerel and Bream.

So far, 41 species of fish have been caught on Yellowfin, just take a look at our photo gallery.

Brighton Marina has lots of things for the whole family to do while you go fishing, from bowling alleys, cinema, over 20 restaurants, the beach and, of course, shopping in The Lanes.

About the Skipper

My passion for fishing started aged 5, sitting on the banks of the river seven with my dad and grandad and then in my teens progressing to sea fishing. In 1993 I got my own boat and began fishing out of Newhaven and even crewed for a local charter boat for a time.

Whenever I get a chance, I still love to fish and usually book a trip or two on a boat when on holiday. Owning my own boat and taking people out to fish, is for me my dream job, I never fail to get a buzz from giving people a good day out fishing or seeing someone catch their personal best.

It’s a pleasure for me to help those that are new to fishing or to guide and teach the next generation of anglers.

Trips & Fish We Catch

Types of fishing and fish

• Wreck Fishing: Drifting over wrecks with lures for Cod, Pollack, Bass.
• Anchoring on a wreck and fish with bait for Conger, Ling, Cod, Pollack and Bream
• Rough Ground Reef Fishing: Anchor and fish with bait for Tope, Smoothhound, Rays, Bream, Plaice (summer), Cod, Whiting (Winter)
• Drifting over sandbanks for Turbot, Brill, Blonde Rays, Undulate Rays and bass
• Live bait fishing for Bass

Not just fishing!

• Yellowfin has been used many times for film work including, BBC Horizon with David Attenborough, ITV’s drama ‘Lucan’ with film star Rory Kinnear, Channel 4’s ‘Stand up to Cancer’ with Katie Price, BBC’s South East Today news (2017 Election). Music videos have also been filmed with drones launched from Yellowfin.

Bird and Wildlife watching Trips

• Sussex coastline has a famous Kittiwake nesting site (Spring/Summer) but you can often also see Gannets, Fulmars, Black headed gulls, Black backed gulls, Skuas, Turns, Guillemots, Little Auks, Cormorants and migrating Swifts, Swallows and Warblers. In terms of other wildlife we have seen dolphins, porpoise and seals

Sight-seeing trips

• See the Sussex Coastline from the sea’s perspective! Take a boat trip past the famous seven sisters to Beachy Head lighthouse and the highest chalk cliffs in Great Britain. Or why not see the new rampion wind farm up close (over 100 turbines)

Seabreeze3 is the next generation Charter Fishing Brighton Marina , she is built by South Boats I.O.W and powered by two 300hp John Deer engines. Category 2 coded by the Maritime and Coastguard Agencies Code of Practice for operation day or night, up to 60NM from a safe haven. Our Charter Boat is licensed for up to 12 passengers and 3 crew

Whether you are an experienced angler, a novice fisherman, tourist, wreck diving professional or enthusiast, on-board SeaBreeze3 we cater for all your individual requirements. We welcome clubs and beginners for Charter Fishing and Day Trips with our experienced and qualified full-time crew who will soon have you catching fish and enjoying your day. Fully certified we specialise in Deep Sea Fishing Trips from Brighton Marina and also cover Rampion Wind Farm Tours and offer extensive Channel Work Boat duties as a Wind Farm Support Vessel throughout the English Channel Coast and available for Marine survey plus Pleasure Charter and Mini Cruises we keep our standards of practice up to date as well as all our certification
