MOTOR YACHT ELENA – DETAILS

M/Y ELENA – fill the gap – offers 10% discount on weekly rates to fill the remaining availability. Weekly charters on the available slots at €25,200++ instead of €28,000. She is available for charters from Athens and from Patras for Ionian itineraries with no relocation fees (Valid only for weekly charters or more).

M/Y Elena was launched in 1992. She was surprisingly one of the first yachts to enter the Greek charter market. M/Y ELENA was built in Perama Shipyard in Greece. Her construction has a steel hull which offers steady cruising. In 2008 another key point is her stern was extended and a new swim platform was added for easy access to the sea.  In 2016 she was refitted with new upholstery in the saloon, VIP cabin and Master Cabin and had a second sun deck installed. MY Elena can accommodate 12-13 guests in 6 cabins. In 2023 she had an extensive refit as follows: -Repainting of the full exterior of the yacht -New carpets in salon and all cabins -New bedspreads for all the beds -New upholstery on sofas in salon -New sofa in the master cabin -New exterior sofa on upper deck exterior saloon -New teak deck chairs, for exterior table on the lower deck -New sunbeds for upper deck

-Newly restored tender with 70hp outboard -New Bluetooth and usb music stations installed in 5 cabins

Elena above all is a lovely spacious motor yacht which can accommodate 12 in 6 cabins. All cabins certainly are with in-suite facilities. It must be remembered her entire interior is constructed from oak and mahogany wood. Her main deck basically features the saloon, dining area, galley and the VIP cabin. Her mid lower deck features the Master cabin which also has a sofa and her two twin cabins. Two more twin cabins are located in the stern lower deck.  Motor Yacht Elena also has a seventh cabin with bunk beds which can be available to the guests upon request.

All cabins have ensuite facilities and are fully air-conditioned. M/Y Elena also has a seventh cabin with bunk beds and ensuite facilities which can be available to the guests upon request. The crew quarters are located on the lower deck and have a completely separate entrance. M/Y Elena has a warm feel to her, and all her guests feel at home when on board. She has a 4.40mt tender with a 70hp outboard engine, water skis, tubes, rings, snorkeling and fishing equipment are also available on board. Her lovely crew of 5 are always ready to cater to guests needs.  M/Y Elena underwent a refit in 2016. This refit generally had new upholstery in the Saloon, Master cabin, and Double cabin.

The 85-foot (26.2m) ELENA is a classic, traditional expedition-style yacht, which offers an exceptional platform for cruising.

ELENA is a former fishing vessel that has been converted and fully renovated into a private yacht, ideal for diving. While currently under private use, she would be perfect as a commercial dive vessel.

The motor yacht has a steel hull, making her ideal for cruising anywhere in the world, including expeditions to exotic islands such as the South Pacific.

The luxury yacht has a simple interior, which provides the perfect place for relaxing after a day on the water. It boasts a fully equipped galley, allowing for easy cooking. ELENA accommodates six guests overnight and up to 30 for day cruises. She features three staterooms, which include a main deck master suite and two lower deck guest staterooms. Each guest stateroom is complete with en-suite bathrooms with shower stalls. ELENA also accommodates four crew in two staterooms — if desired one stateroom can be used for guests.

Motor yacht ELENA boasts a large sundeck. It houses the 16-foot (5m) Zodiac tender and is perfect for entertaining. The yacht also has a shaded lower aft deck and easy walk-around decks.

Description.

This former fishing vessel was converted and fully renovated into a private pleasure dive yacht.  The extensive re-build and be viewed at http://elenavessel.com/

 The full rebuilt of the interiors and exteriors was finished in March 2017,  by SRF shipyard (Scheepsbouw & Reparatie Frislandia) which is a highly professional shipyard with great staff and have extensive experience in this kind of works.

Along with the 5 staterooms comprising of 3 Guest staterooms, accommodating 6 guests, and 2 crew cabins, accommodating 4 crew ELENA also has a fully equipped galley, upper sun deck, lower shade deck, RIB boat, surf boards, full snorkeling gear and dive compressor "Bauer mariner 200 E profi-line II", flat-screen TVs and much more.  She also has the capacity to take 30 guests for daytime cruising.

With her steel construction and sold build, ELENA is the perfect vessel to cruise anywhere (Area category 2) on expeditions or exotic islands.  She is ideal for dive holidays as she can provide dorm-living for weeks at a time.

ELENA is currently used as a private pleasure dive yacht cruising the waters of Europe.

CAPTAIN: DIMITRIS HANTAKIAS AGE:33 Dimitris graduated from the Merchant Marine School of Preveza in 2019. He spent his initial years working on oil tankers. He is a holder of numerous certificates such as shipboard safety certificate , First aid and Fire Fighting, Speed Boat operators License. He joined M/Y Elena’s team in early 2024. One of his many qualities is his calm nature and willingness to learn new things. Dimitris is a fluent English speaker and his hobbies are water sports , football and travelling among others. MECHANIC: GIORGOS PAPADOPOULOS AGE: 42 Giorgos has been the mechanic on board M/Y Elena for the last 11 years. He has a very wide knowledge of all technical issues and keeps the yacht very well maintained. Giorgos is also the one who will drive the tender when the clients want to waterski or ride on the tubes. Giorgos has a sweet character and a good sense of humour but is always thorough with his work. In his free time he likes going sailing and looking after his olives and vines. YACHT OPERATION MANAGER : APOSTOLIS PAPADOPOULOS AGE: 69 Captain “Tolis” as he is known, graduated from the Greek Marine Academy and also from the Nautical College of Southampton England. In his early carrier he worked on Greek flagged tanker ships all over the world. In 1992 he took the post of Captain of M/Y Elena and has been part of the team since then. He now holds the place of Yacht Operations Manager and he makes sure that everything runs smoothly on-board ensuring guests satisfaction. His vast knowledge and experience of the Greek waters enables him to suggest the best places for the passengers to visit, picking out small coves and nice swim areas for them. • wpcf_accommodation: M/Y Elena was launched in 1992 and was one of the first yachts to enter the Greek charter market. She was built in Perama Shipyard in Greece. She has a steel hull which offers steady cruising and her entire interior is constructed from oak and mahogany wood. M/Y Elena is a classic displacement yacht featuring ample deck space and a lavish interior. In 2008 her stern was extended and a new swim platform was added for easy access to the sea. In 2016 she was refitted with new upholstery in the saloon, VIP cabin and Master Cabin and had a second sun deck installed. MY Elena can accommodate 12-13 guests in 6 cabins. Her main deck features the saloon and dining area, the galley and the VIP cabin. Her mid lower deck features the Master cabin which also has a sofa and her two twin cabins. Two more twin cabins are located in the stern lower deck. All cabins have ensuite facilities and are fully air-conditioned. The crew quarters are located on the lower deck and have a completely separate entrance. M/Y Elena has a warm feel to her and all her guests feel at home when on board. She has a 4.60mt tender with a 70hp outboard engine, water skis, tubes, rings, snorkeling and fishing equipment are also available on board. Fuel consumption for running the engine and the generator (depending on fuel rate and cruising hours) Gasoline and lubricants for the use of the tender Food - Drinks and spirits as per super market receipts Marinas' fees Agent/Marina fees abroad (if applicable) Gratuities to the crew is customary (10%-15% of the charter rate) and it always depends on the clients’ satisfaction. APA PROCEDURE For the operational expenses clients should pay, prior to embarkation the amount of the A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) (fuel for the engine and gasoline for the use of the tender & water toys, food, drinks, delivery, redelivery fees, Corinth Canal Fees if crossed etc). The amount will be handed over to the Captain in order to supply the yacht with provisions, prior to clients' arrival and cover expenses, which will be paid by the Captain during the charter. Final calculations will be made at the end of the charter, with as many supporting receipts and invoices as possible. In case the already given amount appears to be insufficient, the Captain or Broker will advise the client accordingly in order to settle the balance of the expenses. In the contrary case, client will be refunded with any remaining balance. Note:Due to the current situation with fuel prices rising please inform guests that the 40% APA will not be enough to cover all expenses during the charter. She was built in Perama Shipyard in Greece. She has a steel hull which offers steady cruising and her entire interior is constructed from oak and mahogany wood. M/Y Elena is a classic displacement yacht featuring ample deck space and a lavish interior. In 2008 her stern was extended and a new swim platform was added for easy access to the sea. In 2016 she was refitted with new upholstery in the saloon, VIP cabin and Master Cabin and had a second sun deck installed. MY Elena can accommodate 12-13 guests in 6 cabins. Her main deck features the saloon and dining area, the galley and the VIP cabin. Her mid lower deck features the Master cabin which also has a sofa and her two twin cabins. Two more twin cabins are located in the stern lower deck. All cabins have ensuite facilities and are fully air-conditioned. The crew quarters are located on the lower deck and have a completely separate entrance. M/Y Elena has a warm feel to her and all her guests feel at home when on board. She has a 4.60mt tender with a 70hp outboard engine, water skis, tubes, rings, snorkeling and fishing equipment are also available on board. Her lovely crew of 5 are always ready to cater to guests needs. (*A.P.A.=ADVANCE PROVISIONING ALLOWANCE is the amount intended to cover initial operational expenses for fuel, food supplies and any other incidental expenses which are described in detail hereunder) The APA is not to be considered as a final estimation of the yachts expenses as this depends on the itinerary, the fuel price at the time of charter and the provisioning. The APA is to be considered an initial amount sent to cover initial expenses such as listed below. Fuel consumption for running the engine and the generator (depending on fuel rate and cruising hours) Gasoline and lubricants for the use of the tender Food - Drinks and spirits as per super market receipts Marinas' fees Agent/Marina fees abroad (if applicable) Gratuities to the crew is customary (10%-15% of the charter rate) and it always depends on the clients’ satisfaction. APA PROCEDURE For the operational expenses clients should pay, prior to embarkation the amount of the A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) (fuel for the engine and gasoline for the use of the tender & water toys, food, drinks, delivery, redelivery fees, Corinth Canal Fees if crossed etc). The amount will be handed over to the Captain in order to supply the yacht with provisions, prior to clients' arrival and cover expenses, which will be paid by the Captain during the charter. Final calculations will be made at the end of the charter, with as many supporting receipts and invoices as possible. In case the already given amount appears to be insufficient, the Captain or Broker will advise the client accordingly in order to settle the balance of the expenses. In the contrary case, client will be refunded with any remaining balance. Note:Due to the current situation with fuel prices rising please inform guests that the 40% APA will not be enough to cover all expenses during the charter. He spent his initial years working on oil tankers. He is a holder of numerous certificates such as shipboard safety certificate , First aid and Fire Fighting, Speed Boat operators License. He joined M/Y Elena’s team in early 2024. One of his many qualities is his calm nature and willingness to learn new things. Dimitris is a fluent English speaker and his hobbies are water sports , football and travelling among others.<br /> <br /> MECHANIC: GIORGOS PAPADOPOULOS<br /> AGE: 42<br /> Giorgos has been the mechanic on board M/Y Elena for the last 11 years. He has a very wide knowledge of all technical issues and keeps the yacht very well maintained. Giorgos is also the one who will drive the tender when the clients want to waterski or ride on the tubes. Giorgos has a sweet character and a good sense of humour but is always thorough with his work. In his free time he likes going sailing and looking after his olives and vines.<br /> <br /> YACHT OPERATION MANAGER : APOSTOLIS PAPADOPOULOS <br /> AGE: 69<br /> Captain “Tolis” as he is known, graduated from the Greek Marine Academy and also from the Nautical College of Southampton England. In his early carrier he worked on Greek flagged tanker ships all over the world. In 1992 he took the post of Captain of M/Y Elena and has been part of the team since then. He now holds the place of Yacht Operations Manager and he makes sure that everything runs smoothly on-board ensuring guests satisfaction. His vast knowledge and experience of the Greek waters enables him to suggest the best places for the passengers to visit, picking out small coves and nice swim areas for them. Whereas during the winter months he works as a private cook in villas. Kyriakos joined M/Y Elena in 2019 and has been the cook on board this yacht since. He specializes in Greek cuisine and keeps his guests extremely happy with offering them all kinds of Greek specialties. <br /> <br /> HOSTESS: FOTINI SALAMOURA<br /> AGE:34<br /> Fotini studied economics , however she always enjoyed working in the tourism industry and this is the path she followed. Fotini has a very welcoming manner and is always there to cater to her guests. She has a warm smile and a vibrant personality. She was built in Perama Shipyard in Greece. She has a steel hull which offers steady cruising and her entire interior is constructed from oak and mahogany wood. M/Y Elena is a classic displacement yacht featuring ample deck space and a lavish interior. In 2008 her stern was extended and a new swim platform was added for easy access to the sea. In 2016 she was refitted with new upholstery in the saloon, VIP cabin and Master Cabin and had a second sun deck installed. MY Elena can accommodate 12-14 guests in 6 cabins. Her main deck features the saloon and dining area, the galley and the VIP cabin. Her mid lower deck features the Master cabin which also has a sofa and her two twin cabins. Two more twin cabins are located in the stern lower deck. All cabins have ensuite facilities and are fully air-conditioned. M/Y Elena also has a seventh cabin with bunk beds and ensuite facilities which can be available to the guests upon request. The crew quarters are located on the lower deck and have a completely separate entrance. M/Y Elena has a warm feel to her and all her guests feel at home when on board. She has a 4.60mt tender with a 70hp outboard engine, water skis, tubes, rings, snorkeling and fishing equipment are also available on board. Fuel consumption for running the engine and the generator (depending on fuel rate and cruising hours) Gasoline and lubricants for the use of the tender Food - Drinks and spirits as per super market receipts Marinas' fees Agent/Marina fees abroad (if applicable) Gratuities to the crew is customary (10%-15% of the charter rate) and it always depends on the clients’ satisfaction. APA PROCEDURE For the operational expenses clients should pay, prior to embarkation the amount of the A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) (fuel for the engine and gasoline for the use of the tender & water toys, food, drinks, delivery, redelivery fees, Corinth Canal Fees if crossed etc). The amount will be handed over to the Captain in order to supply the yacht with provisions, prior to clients' arrival and cover expenses, which will be paid by the Captain during the charter. Final calculations will be made at the end of the charter, with as many supporting receipts and invoices as possible. In case the already given amount appears to be insufficient, the Captain or Broker will advise the client accordingly in order to settle the balance of the expenses. In the contrary case, client will be refunded with any remaining balance. Note:Due to the current situation with fuel prices rising please inform guests that the 40% APA will not be enough to cover all expenses during the charter. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Motor yacht ELENA V (or OLMIDA, OL MI DA, ex GRACE E, ANDALE) is a 49.91m (163' 9") luxury yacht and was delivered by Codecasa shipyard of Italy in 2004 and has an interior designed by Franco & Anna Maria Dellarole. She is an elegant and well-balanced yacht that offers everything one would expect from a yacht of her size and age. She accommodates a total of twelve guests in six elegant staterooms. She was last refitted in 2023.

The interior of this yacht is cosy and comfortable and is composed of a large salon with a formal dining room as well as a casual lounge and gaming area. A guest elevator provides easy access to all of ELENA V’s four decks, including the beautiful skylounge that is found on the Bridge deck. The Skylounge includes a full wet bar and very plush seating.

Stepping out, her expansive on-deck areas are perfect for enjoying the fresh sea breezes or sunbathing in the comfortable chaise lounges or relaxing under the protection of the ample awnings. A large aft deck boasts a great alfresco dining option as well as a comfortable cushioned seating area.

With a stunning interior by Franco and Anna Maria Dellaole, and superb outside areas, this yacht is the ultimate in luxury chartering.

ELENA V underwent a major refit in 2009 which added a spacious extra sun deck on which guests will find a fully equipped gym, a hot tub and very comfortable sun pads.

With a steel hull and Aluminium superstructure, ELENA V cruises at speed of 14 knots with a maximum speed of 17.5 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The Master suite comprises a King size bed. It is full width of the yacht. 2 full size beds are joined. The Owners suite boasts a study as well as a his and hers bathroom with spa pool tub and LCD TV. There is also a walk in closet. Two guest cabins include Queen beds and are below deck, both aft, to port and starboard. One guest cabin is a double and is located on the main deck to port, aft of the owners suite. It is suited either for staff or guests. The two remainding guest cabins are twins, they are both below deck and forward, one to port, the other to starboard. They both comprise additional pullman berths. Each guest suite includes a beautiful private bathroom and modern entertainment system with LCD television.
