You guys are over simplifying this song. Like most rap songs, its meaning is much deeper than it appears.

It's clear by the theme of this song that the boat is a metaphor for Jesus Christ. No one can stop them, and everyone should take notice (as they claim in the lyrics) because their faith is so firmly planted.

The references about the experience on the boat be wonderful can be equated to happiness that leading Christian life brings, and the sadness and emptiness the opposite imposes.

Near the end of the song the lyrics suggest that they thought they'd never be on a boat, which is obviously a silly thing to say since "being on a boat" in not a difficult goal to reach :P With these lyrics they are emphasizing that its a silly thing to think you can't or won't be accepted to the Kingdom of the Lord. For the part that says 'never thought i'd see the day' I think it's about the Second Coming of Christ, and how we don't know it's coming (even though people have theories of it the 'big boat' coming there way). And the mermaid is apparently Mary Magdalene, and how she was a prositute. And she's on the boat with Jesus and his twelve disciples. And even though the lyrics suggest that they had some type of certain 'relations' with Mary Magdalene, it refers to when Jesus cast out the demons from her.

The part flippin' copies at Kinko's is about how people don't have any belief in the 'boat' and they miss out on how important it is about being a Christian (this is compared to the flippy-floppies, the swim trunks, the flippin' burgers). Though, I think the Santana Champ and the burger is Jesus Christ's body (the burger) and blood (Santana Champ). The dolphin repersents the same thing in a way.

Kristin Cavallari and boyfriend Mark Estes are getting candid about their sex life.

In an excerpt from the upcoming episode of Cavallari’s “Let’s be Honest” podcast shared exclusively with Us Weekly , the couple play a game of “Truth or Drink” with some tequila shots and burning questions submitted by listeners.

“I have no idea what’s coming my way,” Cavallari admits.

“Should we start off hot?” Estes asks.

“Start off strong,” the Hills star agrees. And Estes, her boyfriend of six months, doesn’t disappoint.

Estes, 24, asks Cavallari, 37, whether she’s ever faked an orgasm with him.

“No, I don’t think I’ve faked an orgasm in my entire life,” the Laguna Beach alum replies. “I don’t need to.”

“I don’t either,” he says.

“You haven’t faked one? Shocking,” she says, laughing.

Cavallari, who has faced criticism for dating someone 13 years her junior since she and Estes got together earlier this year, then asks the TikTok personality whether “mature women” are “better in bed.”

Estes sweetly replies, “Yeah, you’re the best sex I ever had for sure,” which is news to Cavallari.

“I actually didn’t know that. You’ve never said that to me. We’ve talked about how great our sex is, but you’ve never, like, point blank said, ‘You’re the best.’ I would have remembered that one,” she says.

Estes then turns the table on Cavallari, asking “Am I the best sex you’ve ever had?”

“Yeah, you are. And I think it’s a lot of things. I think sex for women just gets better as you get older,” Cavallari explains. “Because I think women, when you’re in your early 20s and stuff, you’re insecure in a lot of ways, you’re worried about your body or what [you] look like. I’ve let all of that go and I think I am more present physically during sex than I’ve ever been. And I’m so wildly attracted to you. And I just think we have really hot sex.”

Over the years I've been pretty vocal about my desire for a new Dino Crisis game. I played the original round a friend's house when I was probably far too young - I was almost 8, the game was rated 15 here in the UK - because I was obsessed with dinosaurs at the time it launched, and their parents clearly weren't too bothered with the age rating on the case. After all, it was the 90s and Steven Spielberg's movie adaptation of Jurassic Park had captured the imagination of many through its groundbreaking visual effects that blended practical animatronics with computer generated visuals to truly make it seem like dinosaurs had been brought back to life.

Whereas those movies had a variety of games, from top-down shooters on the SNES to the side scrolling adventures of Jurassic Park on the Sega Genesis or The Lost World: Jurassic Park on the PlayStation, none of them really made me feel the intensity of being hunted by dinosaurs like the final third of the 1993 movie did... Until I picked up Dino Crisis . I hadn't played Resident Evil at the time so wasn't familiar with the controls from there, but that blend of survival horror and a dino threat had me hooked, and when I was a bit older, I picked up a copy for myself that I could then complete on my PS2, finally experiencing the whole story.

Dino Crisis Fans Have Been Extremely Vocal In Wanting The Franchise To Return

Dino crisis is one of the most mentioned titles in capcom's annual survey.

Over the years, the Dino Crisis fanbase has been extremely vocal about wanting a new Dino Crisis , be it a remake of the original ala Resident Evil 2 , or a new entry . It's almost unanimously agreed, however, that if it's the latter, we'd prefer one that picks up after all the set up in Dino Crisis 2 's ending, and not whatever Dino Crisis 3 's space adventure was. This year, over 200,000 fans participated in Capcom's annual Capcom Super Elections survey, and it was abundantly clear that they wanted the franchise to return in some capacity from the results shared on Capcom's social media .

Many of us may have also got our hopes up when Capcom first revealed Exoprimal , thinking a Dino Crisis 3 might be happening, especially with a redheaded character who looked remarkably like Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 protagonist, Regina. Sadly, this wasn't the case, the character was not Regina, and the game was an online, live-service sci-fi dinosaur-inspired shooter that had no real relation to the 1999 title.

Dino Crisis Creator Shinji Mikami Doesn't Seem Too Enthusiastic About The Series' Return

Suggesting another, surprising capcom title may be the reason.

Unfortunately, in a recent interview with Eurogamer , Resident Evil and Dino Crisis creator Shinji Mikami addressed the fan response to Exoprimal , noting that " fans got their expectations up " and pointing out that "t he concept [of Exoprimal] is pretty different from that of Dino Crisis. " He also stated that he was " very surprised " to hear about the fan demand for a new Dino Crisis , as he doesn't " feel like there's a whole lot of space " for a new Dino Crisis game thanks to the success of Capcom's Monster Hunter series.

Mikami's reasoning for this was " The awesomeness of dinosaurs and the stuff you can do with dinosaurs, that's been kind of really nailed down by Monster Hunter in recent years. So even if I were to decide to make a remake or a new version of Dino Crisis, I don't really feel like there's a whole lot of space for that kind of game right now, just since Monster Hunter has become such a big game ."

Mikami's Comparison Misses The Point Of Why Fans Want Dino Crisis To Return

We don't just want cool dinosaurs, we want dino horror.

While I understand wanting to focus on something fresh and new by continuing with new Monster Hunter titles, I can't help but feel a bit unconvinced by Mikami's statement. While I like the Monster Hunter games, they are action role-playing games, rather than a survival horror like Dino Crisis , and I think the point being made about Monster Hunter 's monsters fitting the role that dinosaurs could in a title misses the real reason why fans are clamoring for a new Dino Crisis , as it's not just about the cool dinosaurs, it's about the fact it was a survival horror with dinosaurs, and the first Dino Crisis actually made us feel the intensity and fear of what it would be like to be hunted by such creatures. It should also be noted that while the creatures present in Monster Hunter are fictional, the fact that dinosaurs actually roamed the same planet we inhabit today is one of the reasons that so many seem to be fascinated by them.

In fact, the success of the recent Resident Evil remakes is likely to be a huge reason the community wants Dino Crisis to return . We've seen some of the classic 1990s and 2000s-era zombie survival horrors brilliantly recreated with the latest game engines, and have experienced how its gameplay can be modernized, and therefore, it seems logical to see Dino Crisis , which had similar gameplay, get the same treatment.

It's disappointing that Dino Crisis as a franchise seems to be staying extinct, but at least there are many titles being made that seem to want to capture that dino-survival horror essence. In recent years, Jaw Drop Games has announced its Kickstarter-backed first-person co-op survival horror, Deathground , Great Ape Games announced The Lost Wild , and most recently, Saber Interactive revealed its licensed title Jurassic Park: Survival , which is set to explore more of Isla Nublar after the events of the first movie, so at least there should be plenty of upcoming dino content to keep me satisfied until the fans eventually twist Capcom's arm and convince the studio that a return to Dino Crisis is worthwhile. Who knows, maybe if these other titles are successful, Capcom might see its value once again.

Singer Omar Apollo has revealed he has a sex scene with former James Bond star Daniel Craig in Luca Guadagnino ’s upcoming film Queer .

Queer , which is based on the 1985 novel by cult author William S Burroughs, premieres this week at the Venice International Film Festival.

Craig stars as the Burroughs surrogate character William Lee, while Outer Banks star Drew Starkey plays Eugene Allerton.

In a conversation with Starkey for Interview magazine, Apollo revealed that he lost weight before filming the intimate scene with Craig.

“I had to get on the soup diet,” said Apollo. “Luca did not tell me to lose weight, but when you’re about to have a sex scene with Daniel Craig, you’re like, ‘Oh, dude, I can’t be looking off.’ I was at 200 pounds, because I’m six-five.”

He continued: “It’s around where I should be, honestly. But I got down to 181 when the movie came. I lost 20 pounds because I read in the script that my character had a flat brown stomach. I was like, ‘Damn, I’m actually not flat right now.’ I had to get it together, and I was on tour with SZA. Luckily, I didn’t have that many lines.”

Starkey, who had recently seen the film, tells Apollo that the scene is “so good” and “very sensual.”

Guadagnino is known for his 2017 romance Call Me by Your Name , starring Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer, and 2024’s Challengers , starring Zendaya, Josh O'Connor, and Mike Faist.

In 2020, Guadagnino spoke to The Independent about outcry over casting straight actors in gay roles in Call Me by Your Name .

“I read too much Freud to be taking seriously these kind of critics,” he said. “Meaning that I honestly don’t believe I have the right to decide whether an actor is straight or not. Who am I to know what somebody is thinking of himself or herself within themselves. Yes, Armie is a straight man with a wife and children and the same can be said of Timothée. But do I ask them to swear on their sexuality, on their identities, on their desires, before I cast them? I don’t!

“That sounds to be dull and a little preposterous. If I have to cast what people think is the real thing for a role, I wouldn’t be able to cast. I cannot cast a gay man to play Oliver. I have to cast Oliver to play Oliver because the identities of gay men are as multiple as the flowers in the realm of earth. So, there is not a gay identity. One person who is gay is completely different to another person who is gay.”
