Regardless of whether you’re bringing a child or elderly along, the crew at Valencia Yachts harness the experience for ultimate safety and joy. What is the minimum duration for renting a yacht? Usually, it’s a minimum of 4-5 hours, but it’s not limited to this duration at all! You can always charter the yacht for a longer period, and even indulge in overnight stays if you would like to.

Simplify notify our staff or include your request during the booking! When it comes to food, will it be prepared? Whilst booking or sending in your inquiry – simply indicate if you need food or not! On the other hand, if you have any specific food requests or allergies, just drop in a note alongside the inquiry.

Nice yatch – spacious for party of 5, well maintained and clean, reasonably priced, good crew and service. Had a very memorable evening with family – recommend taking the addl. option of Marina View sail to enjoy more time sailing, as trip to Lazarus and back can be short.

What to prepare.

SunRise can take 18 guests while SunRider can take 16 guests, regardless of age. 1 infant is also considered as 1 guest. 

All charters will be accompanied by 1 Captain and 1 crew. 

There are Visitor Carparks in both One15 Marina and Marina at Keppel Bay. Please note we are tenants of both marinas so we are not able to issue complimentary tickets. 

The cruises carries a basic public liability insurance for its passengers, however personal travel / cancellation / accident insurance is strongly recommended.

SunRise has a master bedroom cabin that you can use if you need to rest during the charter. SunRider unfortunately does not come with cabins. 

There are no restrictions. 

Mobile phone coverage is dependent on the cruise destination and your phone provider. In an emergency the yacht can also be contacted by radio. We don’t have wifi onboard, yacht charters are a great opportunity for you to detox from the screen. 

All of our yachts have either 12 volt sockets or standard 3 pin plug sockets. You are more than welcome to use these sockets when you are in a marina and the boat is connected to shore power.

All of our yachts fully comply with the code of practice for small commercial vessels and meet all requirements as set down by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore! All boats are checked before and after each trip and all safety equipment is serviced on a regular basis.

There are heads (toilets) and showers onboard the yacht.

Smoking is strictly NOT permitted onboard! For safety reasons, smoking in cabins and staterooms is prohibited on our yachts.

While our yachts are both double hulled catamarans designed to be more stable on sea, if you know you are susceptible, then it is worth buying some motion sickness tablets from the pharmacy and bringing them with you.

Minimum duration of charter is 2 hours while the maximum duration is 12 hours. 

We are not GST registered hence NO GST will be imposed!

Our yacht welcomes children! However, the crew cannot provide child-minding or babysitting services. Parents or accompanying adults should take care of them at all times. Life jackets will be provided for children aged 5 and above. For children below 5, we recommend bringing your own life jackets. Life jackets can be bought at Decathlon. 

There is no age limit! However, one important point that we DO need to make ( and of course, this doesn’t apply just to age)—is that a yacht does need a certain amount of physical mobility. You need to be comfortable climbing over one boat to another to get to dock at times; in and out of inflatable dinghies; across a narrow gangplank from boat to shore, and so forth.

In order to secure a yacht for charter, a fully signed charter agreement must be completed. 100% charter fee must be paid to confirm a booking.

Pets are not allowed onboard for health and safety reasons, and sea travel can be extremely uncomfortable for some animals.

Yes, most other yachts do not allow outside caters, but on our yachts clients may use outside catering services. If you any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact us!

If the weather is inclement enough, such as to pose a safety risk, we offer a free postponement / replacement subject to certain conditions:

1. Weather condition to be taken at the time and place of charter. That is to say, no reliance on weather forecasts, no asking to postpone 2 hours ahead of time, etc. 2. Guests must be present at the marina at the time of charter 3. Captain makes the final judgement. If it is just raining slightly, most of the time, we will proceed. 4. If the weather turns inclement during the charter, after the boat has left the marina, the Captain shall exercise his discretion and may head back to port if the weather conditions are inclement enough to pose a risk to the safety of the guests. In such an instance, there is no refund, but we will offer to reschedule to another date, which we mutually agreed on the same value.

Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sets sail for Asia-Pacific in 2025

T he Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, offering luxury cruises aboard its new superyacht Luminara starting in December 2025.

Guests can choose from 10 curated itineraries ranging from 10 to 15 nights, departing from Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore.

Voyages will explore destinations such as Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, Puerto Princesa in the Philippines, and the cities of Bangkok and Seoul.

“These new itineraries exemplify our steadfast commitment to continually raising the bar in luxury cruising, offering innovative ways to experience our superyachts and explore vibrant local cultures across the globe," said Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, in a statement.

Sample itineraries include a 14-night New Year's voyage from Singapore to Hong Kong, featuring celebrations aboard Luminara, relaxation on Koh Samui beaches and exploration of Vietnam's historical sites.

A 12-night voyage explores the islands of the Philippines and Borneo, offering opportunities for wildlife encounters and cultural immersion.

For the ultimate Japan experience, guests can choose a 10-night round-trip voyage from Tokyo during cherry blossom season, with visits to iconic landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Another 12-night voyage sails from Tokyo to Hong Kong, incorporating cultural experiences in Osaka, UNESCO-listed castles in Japan and a glimpse into South Korea's capital, Seoul.

Guests can personalise their journeys by choosing from pre-designed group excursions, private guided experiences or custom itineraries tailored to their interests.

The launch of Luminara marks the third superyacht for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Debuting in July 2025, Luminara offers 226 suites and the capacity for 452 guests.

The superyacht will also maintain the brand's staff-to-guest ratio.

While the Asia-Pacific itineraries are a highlight, Luminara will also offer sailings in the Mediterranean during its inaugural season. 

Reservations for the Asia-Pacific voyages are now open.

CHINA automotive giant BYD is bringing its luxury brand Denza to Singapore, and will assume distributorship for this marque itself – in contrast to its approach for its mainstream electric vehicles (EVs).

BYD has appointed two dealers for Denza: Vantage Automotive and Harmony Auto, ahead of Denza’s official launch in October.

Vantage is a subsidiary of Malaysian conglomerate Sime Darby, a major regional player in the automotive industry that is listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

Since 2019, Vantage has been the sole distributor of BYD’s mainstream EVs in Singapore, with multiple dealers including Motor-East, EightX Group and Harmony as well as Vantage itself.

Harmony is owned by China Harmony Auto Holding, an automotive retail and distributorship group operating mainly in China and listed in Hong Kong.

Both dealers will build new showrooms dedicated to the brand. The first Denza model in Singapore will be the D9 large multi-purpose vehicle.

BYD’s choice of self-distribution for Denza, instead of having Vantage as the distributor, means that the marque’s sales structure in Singapore will be similar to that of German luxury brands Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The German brands all have their own subsidiaries to import and distribute cars in Singapore.

This is also a departure from the traditional mainstream car sales model where one entity – typically not a subsidiary of the brand itself – is both the sole distributor and dealer.

Automotive consultant Say Kwee Neng said: “Typically with self-distribution, an automaker is aiming to recover the distribution margins and that will help pay for their market strategies, for example, volume dominance.”

“They may choose not to hold stock, which ties up working capital, and instead delegate this responsibility downstream to multiple dealers. This again helps lower their operating costs in Singapore,” he added.

Denza was founded in 2010 as a joint venture between BYD and the Mercedes-Benz Group, although the latter reduced its share to 10 per cent in 2021.

BYD also has another luxury brand, Yangwang, with off-roaders and sports car models.

In July, Geely-owned Zeekr was the first Chinese luxury car brand to launch in Singapore.
