WHERE ARE WE?

Our Yacht Charters in Cyprus are based in the most unspoilt part of the Island. Consequently there are no tower blocks, no hustle and bustle, just nature. Latchi Marina was originally a small fishing harbour and it still holds that quaint Mediterranean feel.

Also the picturesque marina sits on the fringe of the Akamas National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Furthermore, according to mythology, the national park is where Aphrodite the goddess of love used to bathe. And, where she met her lover Adonis. Finally, the crystal clear waters and calm seas mean its perfect for open-air and open-water activites.

What a fabulous day! It has become a holiday tradition of ours to private charter a boat. We had two teens with us; one who loves snorkelling and one whose first opportunity today offered. Both have said it’s been the best bit of the holiday. Three of us had our own snorkel and mask but they were available onboard for those who had not.

Our Captain Dave was a pleasant, knowledgeable and interesting guy. He offered some tutoring and my son did some first mate duties whilst my husband took the helm for a time. Under sail, working with the elements was great. It was fabulous weather for testing out the boat too sometimes the wind getting up to 22 knots.

We had two extensive opportunities to snorkel in warm, calm, quiet, blue waters. Our lunch of chicken kebabs, Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki and bread was delivered by speed boat and was delicious.

A superb 6-hour trip. A highly recommended treat.

My husband and I had our honeymoon in Cyprus this year and had a truly unforgettable yacht charter with latchi charters in August. We chose the Jeanneau yacht as there was just two of us and it was amazing to try sailing for the very first time.

Above deck, there is a roomy cockpit / sociable area with plenty of seating space.

The twin helm design means better all-around visibility easy and safe access to the stern of the boat. This can be lowered to reveal a huge swim platform, complete with ladder. The cockpit table can be extended to provide a beautiful outdoor dining area, complete with cup holders. Other design features include extra handrails for safety and extra hidden storage spaces for equipment or accessories.

For those wanting a more hands-on experience, the Bavaria 41 sleek design means the boat is fast on all points of sail and laid out for easy and efficient sailing.

This, with a cockpit featuring a clear and integrated chart plotter and control panels, and a clean, practical deck design has won the boat many 2014 award nominations.

The interior of this boat is light and spacious. It is designed with extra headroom and many windows and hatches to keep it bright and ventilated.

The Bavaria Cruiser C42 is all about luxurious comfort, outstanding sailing performance and generous amounts of space.

The clever details that Bavaria Yachts is known for, both above and below deck, has been further refined in the BAVARIA C42, providing this unusual 12.38m long sailing yacht with the best of the newest innovations in yacht building.

Brand new for the 2018/19 season is the fabulous Jeanneau NC33 Motor Yacht. The NC line has a very strong identity, incorporating the latest in boat design and technological advances. Designed by world-renowned Michael Peters she has an excellent and stable hull structure.

There are no steps into the interior where the ease of use and conviviality is combined in a stunning layout.

You’ll be instantly aware of the flow between the exterior and interior. It is a comfortable and, harmonious cruiser. Entirely secure, this new NC features wide, recessed side decks. The side door to the helm station helps create free movement about the boat and for ease of handling when at sea. The side access gate, a new feature for this line, is an undeniable advantage that improves access on board.

NOMINATED FOR “BEST OF BOAT AWARDS 2018” – CATEGORY “BEST FOR FAMILY”

Amazingly versatile, the Jeanneau NC33 is utterly adaptable. Fixtures and fittings can be moved around or reorientated. For example, the large aft seating area can be adapted to fold flat. Or, when underway, transform into traditional forward-looking seating. A table can be installed when it is time to enjoy some fine dining.

TYPES OF CHARTERS

From half day to full day. Sunset charters for anyone feeling romantic or, custom charters when you tell us exactly what you want to do.

Choose between morning or afternoon. Cruise along the coast, swim and snorkel in the beautiful bays of the national park. Enjoy lunch onboard. A half day charter is classed as 4 hours.

Lose yourself at sea for a day of relaxation and serenity. With various destinations available, the charter itinerary is up to you. Plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling, dining, sunbathing. Or for the more active, time to expand your knowledge of sailing and boats. You’ll want to stay out there forever! A full day charter is classed as 6 hours, but this can be extended by the hour.

Whereas most sailing yachts above a certain size will usually have an inboard engine, they will not be “motorsailers”, as their principal source of power is sail, and the engine is only for auxiliary drive.

You suggest the destination and duration and we can do the rest. The possibilities are endless, and we are very flexible with what we can provide. Perhaps you want to combine the view and the sport, by going fishing at sunset. Maybe it’s a birthday party or corporate event. You may want to have two jetski’s available for you and your mates. Or banana rides for the kids. Contact us to discuss and we can completely personalize your trip.

This trip can be done any time of day, but we recommend early mornings, as this is the best time for fishing. The sea at this time is usually very calm. Fishing equipment is supplied. A fishing trip is normally three hours but can be extended if required.

All  yachts charters  through  Latchi Charters are fully equipped with safety equipment, galley, domestic appliances and fresh linen for overnight stays.

The skipper and crew on board are fully licensed and very experienced.

To add something special to your charter, we can provide a full range of watersports activities and scuba diving equipment. Fully licensed diving instructors can also be present on board.

Jetski’s and waterski boats can be available throughout the charter. Catering packages can be provided if required.
