About CRN Yachts

The CRN shipyard was founded in Ancona in 1963 by entrepreneur Sanzio Nicolini, under the name "Costruzioni e Riparazioni Navali," which led to the acronym CRN. CRN is the name under which the Shipyard has gradually established itself at a worldwide level and is still considered as an icon of Italian excellence, style and elegance.

From the very beginning, the Shipyard achieved immediate success and established itself at the high-end of the market, dealing with a very exclusive clientele. At the end of the 1960s the size of CRN’s yachts ranged from 15 to 20 meters. The brand's design was immediately recognizable. It was then that the shipyard built its first series of 23-meter crafts, the SuperConero, which was later followed by increasingly large vessels.

The vessels were built in cooperation with well-known designers, which contributed to establishing CRN’s international reputation. In 1999 CRN joined the Ferretti Group and joined Custom Line to form Ferretti Group's Ancona-based megayacht operation.

History of CRN Yachts

CRN Yachts is an Italian luxury yacht builder that has engraved a remarkable chapter in the marine industries' history books. The business was initially established by Sanzio Nicolini as Costruzioni e Riparazioni Navali (CRN) in 1963 in Ancona, a city on Italy's Adriatic coast. The company's mission was to conceptually design and mechanically develop custom-made yachts with a focus on superior comfort, design and safety.

CRN Yachts' project portfolio has greatly evolved over the years, expanding to include mega-yachts ranging from 40 to 100 metres in length. There are 9 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen, 5 singles and 1 pullman. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Ava, particularly a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Powered by twin GM engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles from her 35,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.

When not cruising Ava has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two Yamaha 800cc WaveRunners. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Ava also features fishing equipment, inflatable water toys and snorkelling equipment. Ava also sports a 6.4m/21' Novurania Semi-Rigid Tender to transport you with ease.

Crn, specializzato nella progettazione, ingegnerizzazione e costruzione di superyacht pure custom fino a 95 metri, sarà presente al prossimo Monaco Yacht Show 2024, in programma dal 25 al 28 settembre nell'iconica cornice di Port Hercule, nel cuore di Monte-Carlo.     In questo luogo - faro dell'industria nautica globale - Crn si appresta a raccontare un nuovo capitolo della sua storia di eccellenza artigianale, maestria tecnica, competenza e perizia lunga oltre 60 anni, presso l'Appontement Jules Soccal - SYBAss Avenue, stand n°JS1.     Fondato nel 1963, Crn ha rivoluzionato il mondo dello yachting realizzando progetti unici e riconoscibili e introducendo standard che sono diventati riferimento mondiale nella nautica da diporto di lusso. Oggi il cantiere navale di Ancona - polo multibrand di Ferretti Group - è un sito strategico e produttivo fondamentale che rappresenta l'arte del saper fare, del design e della progettazione navale, con livelli straordinari di ricerca e innovazione: valori che sono da sempre presenti nel Dna di Crn. Qui si progettano e costruiscono i super e megayacht Crn in metallo dai 60 ai 95 metri, tutta la gamma made-to-measure Custom Line da 30 ai 43 metri in composito e i branded flagship superyacht totalmente in alluminio: Riva Superyacht Division dai 50 metri, Custom Line 50 metri e Pershing 140.     Sono 4 i superyacht Crn in costruzione presso la Superyacht Yard di Ancona. Il nuovo Crn M/Y 143 Project Maranello - 67 metri in acciaio e alluminio, il cui varo è atteso per il prossimo autunno 2024 - unisce il know-how e la qualità progettuale e costruttiva di Crn con la creatività dello studio Nuvolari Lenard sia per gli esterni che per gli interni.     Per il 2026 è prevista la consegna di Crn M/Y 145 Project Thunderball, il 70 metri in acciaio e alluminio realizzato in collaborazione con lo studio di architettura Vripack - che ne ha progettato le linee esterne e l'architettura navale, quest'ultima insieme al team Ferretti Group Superyachts Division Engineering - e con lo studio Nauta Design, che ne ha sviluppato gli interiors e gli arredi delle aree outdoor.     Con il varo atteso nel 2026, Crn M/Y 144 sarà la nuova ammiraglia dello storico marchio con la sua lunghezza fuori tutto di 86 metri: l'architettura navale è stata sviluppata da FG Superyachts Division Engineering, mentre gli esterni sono stati disegnati dallo studio di architettura Vallicelli Design.     Infine, il nuovo 67 metri CRN M/Y Project 146, che segna la decima collaborazione del cantiere con lo studio Nuvolari Lenard: il varo è atteso per il 2027.

CRN M/Y RIO is an entirely bespoke nautical work of art. The taut, flowing hull lines and near-vertical bow bear striking testament to her remarkable elegance and dynamic, sporty personality. The new 62-metre beauty is the fullest expression of the Ancona yard’s artisanal skill, design expertise and fine construction quality. She was designed and built by CRN in close collaboration with design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who created the exterior concept, and designers Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the styling inside. The yacht is IMO Tier III-certified, assuring drastic reductions of 70% in harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the engine exhaust.
