Luxurious motor yacht RESILIENCE by ISA Yachts was launched in 2021 and measures 65.0m (213'3"). She was built in Italy to the exterior and interior design by Team 4 Design and can accommodate charter guests in 6 cabins (plus a seventh convertible) including a full-beam owner's suite.
NOTABLE FEATURES OF RESILIENCE: ~Counter-current swimming pool on main deck aft ~Sundeck forward pool ~Beach club with bar ~Abundant outdoor lounging areas ~Extensive main deck Master suite with side terraces ~Three interior lounges ~Grand piano and bar in skylounge ~Upper deck office ~Comprehensive gym ~Air conditioning ~Wi-Fi
The main deck aft is fitted with two sofas around a coffee table beneath the upper deck overhang. Along the stern, a large swimming pool with counter-current jets receives sunshine. Two stairways connect to the lower deck swim platform and beach club below, for easy access to the beach club bar and gym or the tender and water toys.
Side walkways along the main deck lead to stairs up to the foredeck, where there is a large sofa with drinks in front of the helm station so that guests can relax and take in the moment with panoramic views of the destination.
The upper deck aft can be accessed via the skylounge or by a starboard stairway from the main deck aft. This deck provides the principal alfresco dining area in the shade of the sundeck overhang, and both sides are lined with sofa seating and drinks tables which end with sunbeds along the stern. A port stairway heads up to the sundeck aft.
The sundeck aft is a quiet environment lined with seating along the stern and a bar for drinks throughout the day.
The sundeck forward hosts a second pool and there are broad sunbeds on both sides to offer guests a place to dry off and nap in the sunshine.
The top deck is accessible from a starboard stairway from the sundeck aft, and this secluded spot has two armchairs and a coffee table for close conversation and a place to admire the views from the highest guest area on board.
The lower deck places the crew accommodation forward, followed by the majority of the guest accommodation amidships, the engine rooms behind and the gym and beach club with bar in the stern.
On the main deck the tender garage with storage for water toys is placed in the bow, to be safely and easily launched and retrieved using a crane. The Master suite is forward, followed by the main foyer to starboard and the galley to port. The main salon behind creates an intimate social setting by placing three sofas and a pair of armchairs around a large coffee table for conversation and cosy nights in watching the latest blockbusters on the widescreen TV. For a more alfresco environment, glass sliding doors can be opened on both sides of the room.
The formal dining room is behind and offers a refined environment for 12 guests to gather and celebrate a special occasion in style. As with the main salon, the formal dining area has glass sliding doors on both sides of the room, plus glass sliding doors behind out onto the main deck aft.
The upper deck is also the bridge deck, and there is a helm station forward with the double cabin and Captain's cabin amidships to port and starboard respectively. The office is aft of the Captain's cabin, and the foyer to port. Aft, the skylounge offers a comfortable environment for entertainment, with a wet bar forward to port and a drinks/games table and grand piano behind. The sofa seating lines the starboard side of the room, and there are glass sliding doors out onto the upper deck aft for effortless indoor-outdoor flow.

Search and rescue operations have officially concluded, the coast guard has said.
Authorities will now switch to a methodical and meticulous "investigation mode", marine investigator James Wilke told Sky News.
They may need to remove the yacht from the seabed, both for safety of navigation and to glean more information about its sinking, he says.
Investigators will gather and scrutinise data, analyse facts, and assess witness statements, adds Mr Wilke.
"They'll be trying to avoid getting entangled in the narratives that have been surrounding the incident over the last few days.
"The witness statements will be critical, very critical in this situation because they were there, they saw it, they experienced it.
"They knew firsthand what was happening. They will be able to explain their actions."
Inspectors will also assess meteoritical and oceanographic information to understand the storm.
All the investigators involved will have undertaken these probes before, he adds.
"At 50m it should be possible to survey the hull of the vessel quite straightforwardly, particularly using remote operating vehicles."
But if they bring the yacht to the surface, then "it's likely you'll be able to get to more information, see more of the yacht".
Search and rescue teams previously described the yacht as akin to "an 18-storey building" due to the weight of the water.
A spokesperson for the Lynch family has released a statement.
"The Lynch family is devastated, in shock and is being comforted and supported by family and friends.
"Their thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragedy.
"They would like to sincerely thank the Italian coastguard, emergency services and all those who helped in the rescue.
"Their one request now is that their privacy be respected at this time of unspeakable grief."
More tributes have come in now for Hannah's father, Mike Lynch, whose body was recovered yesterday.
Close friend Andrew Kanter called him "the most brilliant mind and caring person I have ever known".
"There is simply no other UK technology entrepreneur of our generation who has had such an impact on so many people.
"His passion for life, knowledge and all those around him was instantly inspiring to everyone he met, and he will be sorely missed."
Sushovan Hussain, a colleague and friend of Mr Lynch since school, said he and his wife were "utterly devastated by the deaths of so many of our dear friends".
"His departure leaves an unfillable hole in my life. We have known Hannah since her birth, and for her to be taken on the precipice of her life is cruel beyond belief.
"Our hearts bleed for Angela and her remaining daughter."
Tributes are pouring in for 18-year-old Hannah Lynch.
A friend of Ms Lynch, Katya Lewis, described her as a "warm and beautiful soul".
"Being with Hannah made me feel whole and happy," she said.
The head of English at Latymer Upper School, Jon Mitropoulos-Monk, said he had never taught someone who "combined sky-high intellectual ability with warmth and enthusiasm in the way Hannah did".
"She lit up the classroom with her energy, passion for learning and sheer intelligence."
Mr Mitropoulos-Monk described her as one of the best English students in the country, scoring 100% in her English literature GCSE.
"She loved literature, learning and life. She was so excited to start studying English at Oxford, a goal she had worked so hard towards."
One of Hannah's classmates, Gracie Lea, said she thought of "poetry, sunshine, and her beautiful eyes" when she thought of Ms Lynch.
"I'll always remember her smiling," she added.
Patrick Jacob, a family friend, said: "Hannah was charming and ferociously intelligent with an insatiable thirst for life and knowledge.
"I am 50 years older than her and in my life I have never met anybody like Hannah. We have lost one of our brightest stars whose future held so much promise."
The body of the final person missing from the sunken superyacht has been recovered.
A green body bag was seen being brought to the fishing village of Porticello from the site of the sinking.
Hannah Lynch, 18, daughter of British tycoon Mike Lynch, was the last of six people missing after the boat sank.
She had recently finished her A-levels and was due to study at Oxford University.
Earlier this week a spokesperson for Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, west London, where Hannah was a former pupil, said: "We are all incredibly shocked by the news that Hannah and her father are among those missing in this tragic incident and our thoughts are with their family and everyone involved as we await further updates."
Efforts to recover the body of the final person missing from the sunken superyacht are "in progress", the head of Sicily's civil protection agency, Salvatore Cocina, has said.
The daughter of British tycoon Mike Lynch, 18-year-old Hannah, was the only person who remained unaccounted for.
Several boats carrying divers left Porticello shortly after midday local time, heading to the site of the sinking off the coast of Sicily.
Divers have discovered the body of the final person missing from the superyacht that sank off Sicily, the Italian Coastguard has told Sky News.
Hannah Lynch, 18, the daughter of British tycoon Mike Lynch, was the only person still unaccounted for.
Mr Lynch was lost along with his daughter, Morgan Stanley International bank chair Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda when the yacht sank around 5am local time on Monday.
Five bodies have been brought to shore in the small fishing village of Porticello.
Of the 22 passengers and crew on board the boat 15, including Mr Lynch's wife Angela Bacares, were rescued after escaping on to a lifeboat.
The body of Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian-Antiguan chef working on the superyacht, was recovered from the scene on Monday.
The search for British tycoon Mike Lynch's daughter Hannah has not been "easy or quick" a spokesperson for the Italian Coastguard has said.
Vincenzo Zagarola compared the sunken superyacht to an "18-storey building full of water".
"From the first moment it has not been easy or quick to inspect the boat," he told the PA news agency.
"Think of an 18-storey building full of water."
Prosecutors in the town of Termini Imerese, Sicily, near where the Bayesian superyacht went down, are scheduled to hold a press conference tomorrow morning.
Earlier, we reported that investigators from the local public prosecutor's office are gathering evidence for a potential criminal investigation into the sinking of the yacht (see 7.29am post).
These pictures show rescue boats off the coast of Porticello, near where the luxury yacht sank, as rescue personnel resume search operations to find British tycoon Mike Lynch's daughter Hannah.

How sunaina sinha haldea prioritizes well-being as a woman in finance.

Incorporating well-being into your work can provide more purpose, clarity and better decision making ... [+] skills.
Sunaina Sinha Haldea, Global Head of Private Capital Advisory at Raymond James , prioritizes her mental and physical well-being in a role where the stakes are high and stress can’t always be avoided. According to Gallup, the benefits of incorporating well-being into your career can include improved mental health, increased purpose and cognition, resiliency, productivity and even better decision-making. Haldea began incorporating these habits over a decade ago through meditation. She shares how prioritizing her well-being has helped her accelerate her professional and personal life.
“I first began meditating well over a decade ago, coincidentally at the start of my entrepreneurial career when I founded Cebile Capital! I attended a ten-day meditation course called Vipassana meditation, which taught me the ability to reset my mental game at the beginning of each day. Just like starting out with anything new, I first practiced for five minutes a day. Then ten. Now, come what may, I carve out an hour to meditate daily and attend an annual Vipassana course. This really goes to show that even dedicating a small amount of time each day can compound over time. Where we spend our time and energy compounds for us – so if we’re doing that in productive pursuits like building mental resilience, it’ll pay off in spades over the years,” she explained.
Sinha Haldea emphasizes it’s important to find what works for you and that each person’s schedule is unique. “Whether it’s your favorite meditation app, praying, doing breath work, tapping, yoga, gratitude practice, consciousness coaching or anything that shows meaningful benefits for building the mental muscle, consistently carving out time to center your mental well-being will help you navigate the ups and downs that life throws at you,” she added. “The key here is regularity – nothing gets built overnight, especially when it concerns the mind and the body. You have to work on your chosen path on a daily and regular basis and that’s more important than the conduit.”
Sunaina Sinha Haldea, managing partner at leading placement agent and secondary market advisor ... [+] Cebile Capital.
One of Sinha Haldea’s personal projects is championing preventative mental health. She spends her free time on advocacy with senior policymakers on easy wins at school or university to teach children and young adults some mental health hacks. “As a society, we don't speak nearly enough about the daily practices that can help build strong and resilient minds. This is even more so in high-pressured, professional industries, especially for women in finance and business. I regularly attend conferences and appear on podcasts to speak about my journey and the habits I’ve developed for success in my professional life. Most recently, I was invited to the UK Houses of Parliament to speak on this subject.”
Apple iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro Release Date Claimed In Controversial New Report
Today’s nyt mini crossword clues and answers for thursday, august 22, bayesian yacht: bodies of entrepreneur michael lynch and morgan stanley chief recovered in italy.
At Raymond James, having a growth mindset is ingrained in the DNA, seeing each challenge not as a setback, but as an opportunity to make the team stronger. Sinha Haldea also added that the team culture is worked on consciously, “Recently at our office, we immersed ourselves in the Enneagram to understand each other better and become more aware of our own preferences and blind spots. We followed that session with a deep gratitude session where each member of the team was invited to share some self-appreciation and share gratitude with two other members of the team. It was a powerful and moving session. What we appreciate, appreciates. That was evident to our team that day! These are just two recent examples but I am constantly seeking ways to offer growth opportunities to the team – and they are just that, opportunities and invitations for self-reflection and learning.”
For Sinha Hildea, meditation has been pivotal to her entrepreneurial career, especially in playing the long game. “In a society where we crave dopamine hits and quick results at the micro-level, as an entrepreneur, it becomes harder to decide what is right for you and the organization and to make decisions from the right place.
Over the years, I received countless offers to buy my business, Cebile Capital. What meditation provided was that clarity and vision on what Cebile Capital was and the values we stood for. In terms of diversity, we became the change that we wanted to see in the financial services industry, always being over 50% diverse and 100% female-led. Fast forward to 2021, when Raymond James approached, it became apparent that they were not only a fit from a business-case perspective, but also from a cultural standpoint. It’s a good case in point for playing the long game, building value for clients and focusing on making value-centric decisions.”

Five bodies found in Sicily yacht wreck
LAST UPDATE | 21 Aug
FIVE BODIES HAVE been found in the wreck of a luxury yacht that sank in a storm off the coast of Sicily.
Four bodies, which have yet to be identified, have been recovered and the head of Sicily’s civil protection agency Salvatore Cocina said efforts to bring a fifth to shore are “ongoing”.
It brings the confirmed death toll from the disaster off the Italian island to six, after the body of a man believed to be the yacht’s chef was recovered hours after the sinking on Monday.
Among those also missing are Morgan Stanley International bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer; his wife, Judy Bloomer; lawyer Chris Morvillo; and his wife, Neda Morvillo.
Inspections of the craft’s internal hull took place on Wednesday morning.
A team of four British inspectors from the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) have arrived in Porticello, where they are expected to look at the site of the sinking.
The MAIB is looking into what happened because the yacht Bayesian was flying a British flag, it is understood.
The Italian Coastguard said the MAIB is not involved in the search for the missing people and that it has not been requested to assist.
Jeremy Bloomer, Jonathan Bloomer’s twin brother, previously told the BBC: “It’s a slow process and it will take time. So there might be air pockets, but we don’t know. It’s still wait and see, so fingers crossed”.
The body recovered at the scene of the sinking on Monday was that of Canadian-Antiguan national Recaldo Thomas, who was working on the Bayesian superyacht, the Italian Coastguard told Sky News.
Gareth Williams, a friend of the chef, told the BBC: “I can talk for everyone that knew him when I say he was a well-loved, kind human being with a calm spirit.”
Another friend, Eli Fuller, told the outlet Thomas was “friends with everybody”, “always positive” and “sought after” in his profession.
Bayesian was moored around half a mile off the coast of Porticello when it sank at around 5am local time on Monday as the area was hit by a storm.
Vincenzo Zagarola of the Italian Coastguard said the six missing tourists were feared dead.
Asked about the likelihood of them being alive, he said: “Never say never, but reasonably the answer should be not.”
“We think they are still inside the boat, that is our very hard idea. Our search and rescue activity by sea and air has gone on for around 36 hours.
“Of course, we do not exclude that they are not inside the boat, but we know the boat sank quickly.
We suppose that the six people missing may not have had time to get out of the boat.
Italy’s fire brigade Vigili del Fuoco described the operation as “complex”, with divers limited to 12-minute underwater shifts.
Dr Jean-Baptiste Souppez, a senior lecturer of mechanical, biomedical and design engineering at Aston University, said that the speed at which the vessel sank (a few minutes, according to survivor and witness accounts) and the fact that it remains intact and on its side “could favour the formation of small air pockets inside”.
“This is obviously highly speculative and impossible to predict accurately,” he added.
A sign the rescuers may be looking for is a banging noise at regular intervals.
“This is common practice on submarines and was one of the signs the search mission for the Titan submarine was looking for after it went missing last year.
“But whether air pockets formed on the Bayesian is simply impossible to predict.”
Of the 22 passengers and crew onboard, 15 – including Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares – were rescued after escaping onto a lifeboat.
The Mirror reported Bacares is in a “state of shock and sadness” as she awaits news of her husband. She has reportedly been joined by the couple’s elder daughter who was not aboard the boat.
More of the yacht’s rescued crew members were named by the Italian Coastguard on Tuesday, with Leo Eppel and South African nationals Leah Randall and Katja Chicken all confirmed as having been on board.
Survivors are recuperating at a hotel complex in Porticello where authorities are gathering witness statements.
The Telegraph reported authorities are investigating whether hatches left open by crew members contributed to the sinking, as well as what onboard measures were taken in preparation for the storm.
The ship’s captain James Calfield, 51 told Italian media: “We didn’t see it coming”.
Lynch, who founded software giant Autonomy in 1996, was cleared in June of conducting a massive fraud relating to the $11 billion (€9.8 billion) sale to US company Hewlett Packard.
The boat trip was a celebration of his acquittal.
The Financial Times reported that Mr Bloomer appeared at trial as a defence witness for Lynch, while media reports suggest the pair are close friends.
A spokesperson for Morgan Stanley said the bank was “shocked and saddened” while Clifford Chance said it was a “tragic incident”.
David Tabizel, Lynch’s Autonomy co-founder, told Sky News: “I’m just heartbroken for him and his family and I hope there’s a miracle about to occur.
If anyone has the resilience to survive this – he does. And I hope he’s found an air pocket.
Tabizel added: “He has been one of the most influential, intelligent and most honourable human beings I have ever had the honour of knowing.”
The former school of Lynch’s daughter has said its “thoughts are with their family and everyone involved”.
A spokesperson for Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, west London, said: “We are all incredibly shocked by the news that Hannah and her father are among those missing in this tragic incident and our thoughts are with their family and everyone involved as we await further updates.”
Ed Llewellyn, British ambassador to Italy, met some of the survivors of the sinking at a hotel.
Ayla Ronald, a New Zealand national working at Clifford Chance, survived the ordeal.
Her father Lin Ronald confirmed to the Telegraph she had been invited aboard as a thanks for assistance in Lynch’s recent court case.
Another of the survivors, British tourist Charlotte Emsley, told la Repubblica she held her one-year-old daughter, Sofia, to stop her from drowning.
Charlotte and Sofia were treated in hospital, as was Sofia’s father, James Emsley.
In a separate incident, Lynch’s co-defendant in his US fraud trial, Stephen Chamberlain, died after being hit by a car while out running in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.
In a statement released through Cambridgeshire Police, Mr Chamberlain’s family said: “Steve was a much-loved husband, father, son, brother and friend.
“He was an amazing individual whose only goal in life was to help others in any way possible.”
