Evolving from their origin as one of the Seiko brand’s baseline watches, they have found a following in the watch modding community as baseline modders’ watches. As a result, Seiko has become a sought-out brand for watch modification aficionados with a motley of movements and mod parts that are easily available out in the open market. Follow us as we take a deep dive into knowing how essential the Seiko brand is for horology enthusiasts of diverse persuasions today, just how “moddable” Seiko watches are, and how you can recreate an exorbitantly expensive luxury watch using a Seiko divers’ watch.

With the wide availability of mod parts, watch parts, and their numerous variant styles, one can definitely and almost limitlessly exercise their right to express themselves through the modern art of watch modification. 

Those who became part of the community have various reasons to enjoy customization. Some want to focus on tinkering with watch parts; some are curious about how things work. Finally, some want to achieve a specific look different from the original timepiece from the stores because they find the typical store items to be dull.

Now, don't worry if you're just starting to dip your toe in the watch modding scene. You're not the only one. Setting out to design your watch from scratch can be challenging. Every brilliant and skillful watch modder started as a newbie. And there's no shame in starting with little to no knowledge of watch modding - as long as you start somewhere.

Lots of horology enthusiasts turn to Seiko for watch modification purposes because of the brand's relative price-friendliness and the extensive accessibility of mod parts for Seiko watches. Ready-made Seiko mod parts and watch parts are always ready for purchase in stores, whether physically or online. Additionally, one can get ready-made Seiko mod parts from reputable businesses online, like a ceramic bezel. Now, deciding on what kind of watch you want to mod is essential to doing a decent watch modification. So you can go ahead and pick a commonly modded watch type from Seiko. One of the go-to watch types for watch modding is the discontinued but still affordably available Seiko SKX007, a divers' watch.

A timepiece for MODern consumers

The Seiko SKX007 is legendary. As mentioned earlier, this particular timepiece by Seiko is affordable, yes, but also timeless. Its classic looks have inspired many in the watch modification community to produce mod parts dedicated to it. It has a history as an ever-reliable watch that could accompany you to dive as deep in the oceanic depths as much as you can or need. That storied reputation made it clear for horology enthusiasts with little or no modding experience that it was the choice watch for personalization and modification. Why? Because it was durable. It could stand to get modded.

Although Seiko discontinued the SKX007, it has become a collector's item. In addition, a slew of imitative SKXs is out in the market. Some of the imitations are downright worthless, but some of the higher-quality replicas can be very convincing and might fool a would-be buyer into spending more than they ought to. The SKX007 was never meant to be a premium or luxury watch. Instead, it utilized an inexpensive movement paired with utilitarian parts, making imitation SKXs easy for replica manufacturers to create.

However, it might be better to build a Seiko SKX007 from the depths up, so to speak. The SKX007 was a great budget diver's watch at its best. It never tried to compete with other watches in terms of make and materials, and it was a reliable go-to watch for anyone that needed a quality watch that could work for years without any issues or need for service.

But for the more advanced and aggressive watch modder or horology enthusiast, rebuilding one could be the best way to express oneself with a one-of-a-kind timepiece. Especially since the problem with getting a limited SKX piece today is that it can be too expensive. However, if you were to buy it as a watch collector's item, that could still work. However, be sure to keep it in a safe place or compartment, and do not wear it too often outside of your home - if that's what you want out of your SKX. 

For anyone that wants an SKX-style watch made to be used, it makes a lot more sense to build one. It could be more labor-intensive, but it is less pricey that way. After all, it would be a labor of love for any lover of watches and timepieces.

The Seiko Yachtmaster

A less daunting way of approaching a watch mod job for beginners is to turn to aspirational builds inspired by well-known watch designs or timepiece designs. Introducing the Seiko Yachtmaster modification build - a watch mod style that will surely never fail to steal the attention of anyone in the same room you are in. So let's dive right in! In watch modding, you can recreate the style of a more exorbitantly-priced timepiece for cheaper. And with vastly more creative freedom.

The Seiko Yachtmaster (YM) mod build is one of the most popular and well-loved builds in the watch modding community. One of the easiest ways to distinguish this build or style is through its bezel insert. There are several variant colors of Seiko SKX007 Yachtmaster bezel inserts, including silver, gold, and black, just to name a few. As a result, this build is generally bigger and showier than similar-looking builds like the Submariner.

Some Seiko Yachtmaster build choices that are available for you out in the watch modification world are:

• The black Yachtmaster build  - one of the most popular builds because of its effortlessly cool appeal, and of course, black can go well with anything.
• The golden Yachtmaster build  - bold and brustling, not everyone can wear this build; only certain personalities can aptly wear a full-on gold watch (but when paired with the right wearer, this Yachtmaster build will dominate any room it's in).

There's a huge shift going on in the community of watch aficionados right now that we think you shouldn’t miss. And it’s one of the most exciting changes we've seen in a long time!

It’s fair to say that watch wearing has become more than just a marker of status. People refuse to be labeled by what they wear; instead, they alter parts of the timepiece to suit their personality and lifestyle.

Modifying a watch can also be a form of defiance against the mass production of timepieces. Now that finely crafted watch parts are widely available, the possibility of customization and freedom to create a personalized style is infinite.

Off-the-shelf stuff is boring.

Don’t worry if you’re just starting to dip your toe in the watch modding scene. You’re not the only one. Setting out to design your own watch from scratch can be really challenging. In our years of selling Seiko mod parts , modifying our own watches, and interacting with the community, we've come to understand that every brilliant and skillful watch modder started as a newbie. And there's no shame in that!

One less intimidating way of approaching a watch mod is to take inspiration from well-known builds. For this purpose, we spent some time deconstructing and contextualizing popular watch mods in this new series of articles, which we're coining "Behind the Build". 

First off, we’ll be starting with the Seiko Yachtmaster Mod -- a style that never fails to grab someone’s attention.

Let's dive (wink wink) right in.

The Seiko Yachtmaster

The Seiko Yachtmaster (YM) Mod is one of the most popular and well-loved style of builds by watch modders. The easiest way to distinguish this style is from the use of a Yachtmaster bezel insert. There are various color versions of Seiko SKX007 Yachtmaster bezel inserts which includes silver, gold, and black, just to name a few.

The bold, yet still somehow elegant, bezel insert style can be traced back to 1992 when the Rolex Yacht Master had its maiden voyage in the market. It received an overwhelming reception as it was a timepiece that just oozed opulence - The market had never before seen a luxury watch, designed for luxury seacraft owners. Additionally, the Yacht Master broke Rolex’s tradition of rarely launching watch variations as they decided to offer it in 29mm, 35mm, and 40mm sizes.

Who would have guessed that years  later, the Yacht Master would inspire watch modders and builders to emulate it, using the classic Seiko SKX007 as a platform? The SKX, the watch for the everyman, is everything that the Yachtmaster isn't - and yet the pairing of the two diametrically opposed styles seems so natural when you look at a well-executed Yachtmaster build.

Gold Yachtmaster

The full gold Yachtmaster style build is definitely not an easy one to pull off - you have to possess a certain type of personality to wear a full gold watch, and not allow it wear you instead. That being said - when done right, it looks absolutely bling-tastic.

Silver Yachtmaster

Don't think the full gold look is up your alley? A Silver Yachtmaster build might be what you're looking for. Paired with the right  watch dial , it's the classy and understated choice.

Black Yachtmaster

Black Yachtmaster builds are by and large one of the most popular ways to execute this style. It's no surprise that our Black YM Style bezel insert is our bestselling bezel insert, of all time!

They're low-key, stealthy, and just look so damn cool. Some Black Yachtmaster style builds use a black watch case, as shown in the above image. Others prefer to use a silver watch case, which adds a nice bit of contrast. See below for an example.

Two-Tone Yachtmaster

Two-tone builds are usually identified by their use of two different tones of metal, with gold being one of the accent tones. Popular combinations are black and gold, or silver and gold. A great two-tone build is all about balance, and when executed well, they're one of the most gorgeous watches out there.

This style has its fair share of fans, evident by the many incredible photos circulating on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and various websites. But some are still on the fence because not all modders, and would-be modders, successfully find compatible parts needed for their first SKX Yachtmaster build. Another issue is - there are so many different parts, where does one even start?

Beginners may also encounter doubts, and feel discouraged about whether they can make the mod work. These are common, and very normal, issues that are typically faced even by experienced modders.

It really takes time and repetition to transition from clumsy hands into being able to pull off precise movements and apply just the right pressure to achieve the first build.

We admit though, that the process is a bit technical. And handling delicate bits of a watch to build an SKX007 Yachtmaster mod, or any other style of watch build, requires patience and some level of dedication.

Seiko SRPD79 Mod

The hugely popular Seiko SPRD79 Mod – the stealthy one – with black case, dial, bezel, insert and black as Seiko could get lume. Nice. So this Seiko SRPD79 mod is in for the Yacht Master Mod.

This was a Christmas gift to the customer from his partner, and he didn’t want to see it before Christmas. The Seiko mod parts he sourced himself from DLW , and the SRPD79 from Amazon. These arrived in a timely manner, thus I was able to return it to him in suitable time for wrapping and placing it under the tree.

All the parts were inspected before I began the modification. As usual the products from DLW are excellent quality and there were no imperfections other than to the newly varnished bench!

Typically, as usual, I forgot to take any photos whilst modding! However, here are some before and after shots for you to feast your eyes upon.

All boxed up and ready for the post in time for Christmas.

Original 7s26 If you choose the original professionally serviced Seiko 7s26 movement, it is an automatic watch, you cannot wind it.  Power comes from the rotor that rotates with the continued motion of the wearer’s wrist. Once you receive this you have to shake this from side to side continuously at least for 3-5 minutes. Reserve power lasts only 6- 12 hours or less. The watch will stop if you do not wear it. Watch will lose + or – 5 mins each day or sometimes not at all. This is a refurbished vintage watch, not brand new.

Seiko Brand New NH36A / NH35A If you choose this movement, the movement is hackable and can be winded manually. It has a power reserve of 40 hours on an average.

Thanks for using my bracelet pics above. I hadn't noticed as I looked at your link first and not your actual posting. The adjustment links are quite interesting in the 6117-6010 bracelet in that they are held together by small spring bars. Seiko only use this type of bracelet on a few models from the 1960's including some of the hand wound Sportsman bracelets. After that, they moved to cotter pins and later pin collar configurations (and annoyingly screws for some King Seiko VANAC and Grand Seiko bracelets). -Brian

@DC Lavman - Thanks! @Saswatch - NOTE: there are after market hand sets done for the 6117-640x - including the bent GMT, with the bend in the wrong spot vs the originals. The hands are also pretty easy to spot once you know what to look for.

I will be revising the first thread soon(ish) with (among other things) a the black dial version of the Asian Games. Also of interested to some - I believe all of the 1967 Olympic torch re-editions with red GMT use Radium lume on the hour and minute hands, which indicates to me that that version specifically was likely intended for the US market.  

I've updated the first thread with RADIUM LUME call outs. Namely the 6217-7000 with lumed hands and red GMT from 1967 and the 6117-6019 versions all appear to use Radium Lume. I have many more photos to add in the near(ish) future... I also barred out some 6117-6400/9 versions that I no longer think are original combinations, reducing that list down just a little.

Seiko 5 SNXS79 Review – Cheapest Oyster Perpetual Homage?

A couple of years ago, I was looking for a watch to buy my father for Christmas.

Naturally, after doing some research, I discovered what a mechanical watch was, and wanted to get him one. 

I ended up deciding on an Invicta Pro Diver (I know, I know… Invicta. Puke emoji).

But I ended up wearing it more than him. 

Turns out, I was the one more fascinated by his mechanical watch Christmas present than he was.

So I wanted a mechanical watch of my own.

That’s when I did some more digging, to find an automatic watch that was affordable, looked great and had solid build quality.

The model we’re going to be looking at today is that exact watch, the first mechanical watch I ever bought for myself, the Seiko 5 SNXS79 (Amazon).

Seiko SNXS79 Review

Now, I’m definitely not going to make a direct comparison of a sub $100 Seiko to a Rolex watch that cost thousands, but…

The SNXS79 has a very luxurious vibe, slightly reminiscent of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual.

I’d not quite go as far to say it’s an Oyster Perpetual homage. Just that it takes some really well-designed aspects from the watch.

And that’s definitely not a bad thing.

The rich, dark dial juxtaposed against the pronounced bezel of the bright, polished case really packs a punch. 

The watch looks slightly different at any angle, adding to the dynamic charm of the piece.

The sunburst grey of the dial lightens up when viewed head-on, but darkens and has an almost visually ‘glossy black’ appeal at an angle. 

The SNXS79’s Awesome Seiko Lume

  On the gray dial are rectangular hour markers with applied lume, framed in polished steel.

Seiko is known for generally having very strong lume on their watches, but some of the Seiko 5 models fall short in this area.

The SNXS79’s lume, however, shines bright like a torch. It helps that the hour markers are so large and bold.

It doesn’t take much sunlight to charge it, either. Just a few minutes standing in direct sunlight and the lume will be fully charged and ready to go. Seriously, looks amazing.

It doesn’t last for an extremely long time, but fades out gradually and helps the watch be more legible in the dark and at night.

Folded Link Bracelet

Like most Seiko 5 models, the included bracelet is pretty terrible.

It has folded links, feels light, cheap and jangly and adds no additional heft or feeling of security when wearing it on your wrist.

It doesn’t have any screws, or even pushpins, like most bracelets, so sizing it can be extremely difficult.

Here’s a tutorial on how to size the Seiko 5 folded link bracelet.

It’s completely brushed, which contrasts completely with the all-polished case.

I think the brushing on the bracelet kind of looks out of place – like it doesn’t belong on this watch. Especially since there are absolutely no brushed surfaces on the case to tie the look together.

It also has a cheap flip lock clasp instead of a higher quality pushbutton clasp like on the Seiko 5 SNK355.

While the bracelet feels rather light and cheap, I must admit, it’s rather comfortable on the wrist.

It helps that it’s so light and weightless, making it good to wear in warmer summer months. It also surprisingly doesn’t tug on my arm hairs like some other cheap bracelets tend to.

SNXS79 Strap Choices and Suggestions

I prefer to wear my SNXS79 on a leather strap. It’s a very thick, distressed grey, vintage style leather strap with stitching on either side near the lugs. The off-white stitching really compliments the off-white lumed embassies and are a perfect match.

The worn distressed leather really accentuates the smooth, rich sunburst dial and makes it pop.

The thickness of the strap combined with the raw, unstitched edges makes the leather strap wear very thick and was instantly recognizable, for me, as a perfect fit.

Though I’ll must admit, I sometimes still wear the flimsy original bracelet on warmer days. It’s not the best quality, but light and comfortable enough for when it gets really hot out. There are some other options, though.

A 19mm suede grey strap (Amazon) would also look great for casual wear or a 19mm black crocodile strap (Amazon) would look dynamite for more formal occasions.

Finding alternative straps that are precisely 19mm to fit this watch can be tricky.

Usually, straps are made with an even lug width measurement, like 18, 20 or 22mm. 

With that said, you’re not out of options completely.

You can throw this watch on an 18mm NATO (Amazon) or perlon strap (Amazon) and the spring bar will be exposed ever so slightly, but it’s barely noticeable and will look just fine.

This is especially helpful if you already own watches and watch straps with an 18mm width, so you can swap between them.

Heck, James Bond wore a NATO strap much smaller than the lug width of his Rolex Submariner in some of his movies. And he’s James Bond!

But if the SNXS79 is your only watch, you might as well get the exact size strap to fit it, which is 19mm.

You could also wear a 20mm NATO, Perlon, or Leather strap, as long as you still use 19mm spring bars. It’ll be a bit of a snug fit, but it’ll encompass the entire length of the spring bar, and nobody will ever notice that 1mm difference.

SNXS79 Dimensions and Comfort

The Seiko SNXS79 has rather unusual dimensions that, on paper, don’t really reflect how the watch wears. Let me explain.

• Diameter: 37mm
• Lug to lug: 42mm
• Lug width: 19mm
• Thickness: 13mm

It has a 37mm diameter like many Seiko 5 models and a very condensed 42mm lug to lug dimension. This means it’ll fit comfortably on most people’s wrists without hanging over the edge, even on those with smaller wrists. 

The crown at the 4:00 position certainly helps to add to the comfort, but I’ll admit, it’s such a tiny crown, it can be difficult to pull out and use. 

The thickness, though, is what really throws me off about the size of this watch. It measures 13mm thick but doesn’t quite wear as such

Part of this is because it’s mostly the movement jotting out at the bottom of the case, adding to the thickness.

The good news is, this raises the entire watch off your wrist a bit and gives you a bit of extra wiggle room when moving your wrist around, adding to the overall comfort. 

The bit of extra height does help to add a touch of extra wrist presence, though not by much.

7S26 Movement

The Seiko 7S26 is a tried and true movement that’s probably been spoken about thousands of times. 

It keeps decent time, it can take a beating for years and years without needing a service and is extremely affordable. 

The description of this movement basically sums up the entire experience of owning a Seiko 5. 

It doesn’t have any ultra modern features seen in newer models of watches, like hacking or hand-winding, though you’ll have to jump up to a tier in price to get access to those.

It does exactly what you need it to do – keeps decent time. It also has a day and a date wheel, and a display caseback so you can see the movement through the underside of the watch.  

Seiko 5 Models Similar to the SNXS79 Worth Considering

As I said earlier, there are so many different Seiko 5 variants to choose from.

Between this model alone, there’s the SNXS79K1 and SNXS79J1. A Malaysian and Japanese version, respectively. The Malaysian version (K1) has a Spanish day wheel, and the J1 has a Kanji date wheel. The differences end there (aside from the price).

There are also some similar Seiko 5 variants you may want to consider if you’re already looking at the SNXS79.

The SNK355 (Amazon), the watch to the left shown above, has a similarly classy and dressy appeal, with an equally rich, although lighter, silver dial. I did a full review of the Seiko 5 SNK355 if you’d like to learn more about it.

The SNXS77 (Amazon) is exactly the same as the SNXS79, but with a sunburst blue dial instead. The SNXS73 (Amazon) has a silver even lighter than that of the 79. In my opinion, the 79 is the most ‘rich’ and ‘luxurious’ looking, though the blue version looks good also.

The SNKL45 is a kind of, but not really, similar model. It has a darker, glossier black dial and a red second hand that gives it a bit of a ‘sportier’ appearance. It also has an all-black date wheel, which is a unique touch.

The good news is, there is clearly no shortage of Seiko 5s to choose from, and even if the SNXS79 doesn’t do it for you, there are plenty of other expensive-looking Seiko 5s to choose from.

Why I Bought the SNXS79 Thrice (Yes, Three Times)

My story of owning this SNXS79 is a funny one. Like I said earlier, it was my own personal first mechanical watch I’ve owned for myself.

The first time I owned it, I liked it. But I didn’t love it. At the time, I didn’t have many other watches to compare it to. 

The Invicta Pro Diver 8928OB (Amazon), the first mechanical watch I ever wore, is a cool watch but is a chunkier dive watch.

It doesn’t really compare to the Seiko 5, even though they cost about the same. It’s just a different style.

At the time, after wearing a dive watch for a couple of months, I thought the Seiko 5 looked too small and effeminate on me. It is a ‘smaller’ case size (37mm in diameter) and is maybe even smaller than average by modern day standards. 

But that’s part of what makes it so beautiful.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that a smaller watch is actually classier and more versatile, as it’s more subtle and discreet. 

I also wasn’t a fan of the all polished case of the SNXS79, and how easily the mineral crystal smudged up and looked ‘dirty’ from fingerprint smudges all the time (little did I know, sapphire crystals can be WORSE about this sometimes).

As my appreciation for watches (and my watch collection) grew, I began to appreciate the little aspects and nuances of a watch, more. 

That’s how I’m able to appreciate the value proposition of the SNXS79 so much more, this time around. 

I’ve also previously bought a vintage version of this watch off eBay. I’m not even completely sure it was an official Seiko model, or someone just modified a previous existing Seiko with the SNXS79 dial, but I love it all the same.

It has a domed crystal and a case that’s scratched up, and has so much character, in my opinion. 

What is a Seiko 5?

Seiko 5 is Seiko’s entry-level mechanical line of watches. They look great, have a robust in-house mechanical movement and are some of the most affordable automatic watches one can buy. 

There are dozens and dozens of them, each with a slightly different flair and aesthetic. Almost all of them can be had relatively affordable, under $200, but most are even less than half that.

Most all of them feature a relatively prominent ‘5’ badge under the Seiko logo at the top. I used to think the badge was kind of… Over the top. And took up too much dial real estate.

But over time, like most other things about this watch, not only did they grow on me, but I began to appreciate them more and more. That’s why I’ve bought this same exact watch THREE times.

The Final Verdict

The Seiko 5 SNXS79 is one of the best looking Seiko 5 models, in my opinion. 

The brilliant and rich sunburst grey dial looks really dynamic and with the all polished stainless steel case, the look really comes together to create the appearance almost of that of a Rolex Oyster Perpetual homage, but with enough unique design elements to stand on its own in terms of originality.

The included bracelet isn’t the best, but with a watch so affordable, it’s easy to overlook, and this watch looks good on a variety of different straps if you can work around the odd 19mm lug width.

All in all, the Seiko 5 SNXS79 is truly one of the best ‘bang-for-your-buck’ watches considering how affordably you can find them online.

Hello Andrew I purchased this Seiko 5 for my dad in the late 1970s. My father wore it every day until he passed away in 2001. Only today did I pick it up as it had been sitting in a box for 18 years. I thought it didn’t work, I set the time gave it a few shakes and to my amazement it works perfectly! So I’m really happy with this watch . Around about 1964 my sister brought back a Seiko automatic Bellmatic another great watch with an amazing loud alarm on it unfortunately it was stolen some years later. In 198I when I was travelling through Switzerland , I purchased an Omega mechanical and 2 Longines mechanical watches and in 1990 my generous sister pursued a Swiss made Ebel. In late 1990s I purchased a Seiko battery Chronograph which is a great watch as well no probs at all no servicing just a battery change every 5 years. So the situation now is that non of the Swiss watches work! My dad’s 40 plus year Seiko and my 20 plus year Seiko are both going strong . Non of my Swiss watches work and they aren’t worth repairing because the cost would be high! In my experience Swiss watches are like German cars expensive to buy, expensive to maintain and no where near as reliable as Japanese cars, especially Toyotas and Suzukis. I’m a practical person and don’t give a rat’s arse about status symbols, I like things that are a reasonable cost to purchase, reliable and long lasting. If you are looking for an expensive status symbol that requires high maintenance, buy Swiss, if your looking for an affordable long-term service reliable watch you buy Seiko ! I am planning to get one SNXS77 with a blue dial. I am currently researching about quick release spring bar size, as we already know the lug width is 19mm. And the market has it in even size order. Do you have any ideas about which size would suit? 18mm or 20mm?

Hey MF, sorry for the delayed response. I hope if you’ve purchased the SNXS77 already, you’ve received and are enjoying it. Here are my thoughts on the (quite frankly, annoying) lug width and strap sizing.

When it comes to straps such as leather straps, it’s always better to go 1mm up. The leather will still squeeze in no problem, though it may be a bit tight at first. The only caveat, is that you want to make sure you use the correct size spring bars regardless. So for a watch with a 19mm lug width, feel free to use a 20mm leather strap, as long as you have the proper, 19mm springbar. The reason for this is, the leather might squeeze down to the proper size, but a 20mm spring bar will not squeeze down to fit a 19mm lug width. And if it does, you will have a very hard time getting it out.

This means that straps with quick release spring bars usually are a poor choice when looking to size up.

I’ve noticed on other MODs imprecisions in the brushing and flimsy claps, I can say that I was impressed by this one (Royal Oak Tiffany)

Better than I expected 

I was a bit skeptic regarding the quality considering the price but I have to say it’s even better than more expansive MODs I have bought in the past, especially the bezel, and it comes with the tools to adjust the bracelet as well as a handy travel case

The steel bracelet is great but for daily wear and to give it a more sporty look the Rubber strap has been just perfect, and I ended up using mostly that

There’s room for improvement

The watch looks solid and well made, nontheless the packaging is not exactly luxurious, a small leather case or something of that sort could make it feel like a true luxrury timepiece, just a reccomandation

It’s a very solid watch, I like that I can see the movement in the back, and the dial is very beautiful, it’s my first automatic watch so I wasn’t understanding why it wasn’t really working in the beginning but they were very fast and patient in responding and explaining me everything

The bracelet was a bit tough to adjust

The screws of the bracelet were a bit tight, nothing too bad but it delayed a bit wearing it, beautiful watch though.

I have a small wrist so I wasn’t sure about the fit, I contacted them and within 5 minutes they got back to me with all sorts of information and pictures from other customers with smaller wrists wearing the mod, it was great feeling assisted like that and they also offered my a free return in case it did not fit, and as you can see it does, perfectly

I’ve never been that much into watches but this looked so good I wanted to try, my first automatic watch ever and I can’t take it off

Great watch but the logistics not so much

It got stuck in transit from Germany to Italy, I understand it’s not their fault but the wait was very annoying, the watch looks great though and the quality was surprising, even more considering the price

Beautiful Arabic dial

Dials with Arabic indices are very difficult to find and the wristmodding team was really fast at responding to my requests, 100% recommended

The watch arrived on time, and it looks way better than expected for the price, but the bracelet was difficult to adjust as one of the screws was stuck

I had never seen this offshore version of the royal oak mod around so I had to try it, my new favorite mod

Got it with the blue “natural rubber strap” I don’t know what that means, but i do know it’s hella comfortable

I thought 38mm was too small for me so I reached out to them and they were really fast at responding and explaining how a square shape fills the wrist differently than a regular round one, and it does, it fits my wrist perfectly. They were also nice enough to offer a free return in case it did not fit me properly, 5 stars!

I own a royal oak amongst other timepieces and I wanted a cheaper version for when I was traveling, I have to admit the quality of the case and dial put next to my AP is surprisingly close, what a watch

I asked them if there was a way to personalize this watch as it was a gift for my brother who’s a watch geek and dreams of having a nautilus, so they came up with this amazing front engraving, incredibly fast at responding and the quality of the watch is surprising, my brother was losing it. The only issue was that the clasp was very rigid so we had to go to the watchmaker to be able to loosen it

The watch looks great but the clasp was a bit rigid and difficult to open, it ended up opening and loosening up after a bit, but I reached out to them and they explained the functioning of the clasp and why it was so tight, but proposed to replace the bracelet anyways with one that has different clasp opening, I ended up keeping this but they told me that if at any point I change my mind they’ll ship the replacement right away.
