There are few experiences as luxurious and awe-inspiring as a yacht charter . You can explore the world at your leisure, spend quality time with friends and family in an intimate setting, and the service is second to none. We've rounded up the most exceptional new yacht charters to book around the world. They're sure to inspire your next voyage, whether you want to relax along the Amalfi Coast or explore remote corners of the globe.

In the yachting world, Loon is known for an exceptional array of water toys — perhaps the best in her class. There's a FunAir inflatable slide that goes from the third deck straight into the ocean, an in-water pool, and a luxurious 43-foot Everglades tender. You can hop on paddleboards, sea kayaks, Waverunners, or a Seabob to explore nearby islands and coves.

The adventurous can try kite surfing or Lift e-Foil surfboards, which seems effortless when you watch the crew fly past, but is actually quite challenging. Loon is also a scuba diver's dream. The crew has several master divers and dive instructors who can take you out each morning, and they have all of the equipment you need onboard. They can also certify new divers during the trip.

The 180-foot yacht has a staggering 1,100 gross tons of living space, elegant design, and an amiable and attentive crew. Loon has two master staterooms, including a unique one on the upper deck. It has wraparound windows that offer unparalleled views of the surroundings. There are two salons, including one with recliners and a projector for movie night, plenty of spaces for dining alfresco, and an oversized infinity-edge Jacuzzi with a wet bar nearby. Fancy a workout? Loon has a treadmill, exercise bike, rowing machine, and free weights in the beach club. You'll be hard-pressed to find better workout views than this.

The crew is absolutely lovely and specializes in setting up unique experiences. You might have a pizza night on board, a barbecue on a private beach, or sundowners at the Instagram-famous Loon Bar. The crew will even take you to a picture-perfect sandbar and serve you drinks as you loll in the warm water.

Loon is available for charter from IYC in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Bermuda during the winter months and in the Mediterranean in the summer months. Rates begin at $325,000 a week plus expenses.

Nansen Explorer

For the ultimate Antarctica adventure, you can't beat a voyage aboard Nansen Explorer . This former research vessel has all of the technical features needed to safely explore one of the world's most remote and dramatic landscapes and, thanks to a retrofit in 2021, an ultra-luxe interior design that wouldn't look out of place in St. Tropez. For exploration, Nansen Explorer has an Ice-1A classed 236-foot hull and an ice-experienced captain and bridge team, which means she can go deeper into the ice than other polar-classed superyachts. There's a heli-deck with onboard fueling capabilities, so you can see the vast landscape from the sky, or even go heli-skiing. There are plenty of toys that allow you to get up close and personal with wildlife and nature, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, dive equipment, and Zodiacs.

The interiors are so stylish, modern, and well-appointed that you'll forget you're in the middle of Antarctica rather than at a swanky hotel. The ship originally accommodated 60 passengers, but now it holds just 12 guests in seven cabins, including an owner's suite and a VIP suite. Each cabin has large windows that showcase the stunning vistas outside the ship. The sumptuous Scandanavian-inspired decor features shades of grey and white, which reflect the surrounding environment. There's a cozy lounge with a bar and a fireplace, perfect for warming up after an excursion to see penguins or whales.

Nansen Explorer is available for charter from Plan South America in Antarctica. Rates begin at $340,000 a week and are all-inclusive.

Yachting in French Polynesia is always a blissful experience, but Dardanella takes relaxation to the next level with bespoke, wellness-focused charters planned by onboard wellbeing facilitator Ayumi Gallagher. The wellness experience is all-encompassing, including fresh, detoxifying food, mindfulness workshops, yoga sessions, Pilates, meditation, and massages alongside traditional yacht activities, like diving, surfing, and tender safaris exploring the pristine waters and nature of French Polynesia. The captain is also a qualified marine biologist and ecologist, so he's the perfect person to show you this unique environment. There are two dive instructors, 12 sets of dive gear, a Nitrox dive compressor, and underwater photography equipment, so you can capture the beauty underwater, too. As an expedition yacht, Dardanella is well-suited for exploring remote destinations. The 121-foot yacht was refit in 2018 and has five luxurious cabins.

Dardanella is available for charter from 37south in French Polynesia. Rates begin at $100,000 a week plus expenses.

With seven decks, there's something for everyone aboard Wheels . This massive yet elegant yacht measures 249 feet, weighs almost 2,000 gross tons, and has lots of standout amenities including a spacious cinema for eight guests, a huge aquarium, massage room with a dedicated onboard masseuse, air-conditioned gym, and the main salon converts to a disco complete with lights and a smoke machine for those late-night dance parties. The split-level master suite has panoramic views, a study, and plenty of space, and there are four spacious guest suites on the main deck. Outside, there are plenty of relaxation areas, including sunpads, a hot tub, several dining areas and bars, and an enviable water sports area with two Jet Skis, four wave runners, three seabobs, a luxurious tender, and plenty more toys. The crew is very active and can teach you to wakeboard, kitesurf, sail the new Hobie cat catamaran, or scuba dive. They can also lead yoga and fitness classes.

Wheels is available for charter from Fraser Yachts in the Caribbean. Rates begin at $680,000 a week plus expenses.

Inside the €775,000-a-Week Superyacht That Was the Talk of Monaco Yacht Show

It's not uncommon for yacht charterers to "upgrade" their yachts year after year, chasing newer and bigger boats, which is makes Big Sky 's number of repeat bookings even more impressive. The 157-foot yacht has been a charter favorite since 2010, and she recently underwent a refit leaving her in immaculate condition. Big Sky can accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam master that spans the width of the yacht, and there's plenty of room onboard to relax, including the main salon with large windows and a state-of-the-art TV system. The sky lounge is perfect for entertaining — it has an onyx bar and sliding windows that make you feel as if you are outside. Of course, if you do want to relax outdoors, there are three teak decks with space for dining and a large sundeck with a Jacuzzi, sun pads, couches, and a bar.

Big Sky is available for charter from Northrop & Johnson in the Bahamas. Rates begin at $180,000 a week plus expenses.

This glamorous new superyacht caused quite a stir when she debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2021. It's rare for a brand-new superyacht of this size to be available immediately for charter, so book your trip on Tatiana early. This 263-foot yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests, who are guaranteed impeccable service from the 20 crew members. She has a great selection of water accoutrements and a stunning design with a large amount of interior space, including a deck dedicated to the owner's suite. There are also two VIP staterooms, four double cabins, and a twin cabin. While away any rainy days in the movie room or shooting some pool. Tatiana also has a fabulous beach club with a large bathing platform, bar, and outdoor lounge.

Nour El Nil Meroe

Step back in time aboard Nour El Nil Meroe , a traditionally inspired Egyptian yacht full of modern amenities and luxurious design. Meroe is available for charter through Black Tomato, a top luxury travel company known for its expertly curated trips with exclusive experiences and a focus on local culture. Meroe is styled like a classic dahabiya boat, with authentic decor featuring whitewashed walls and linens alongside Parisian decor details. The VIP cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Nile — we can't think of a more fabulous way to have breakfast in bed — while the other cabins have large windows. The shaded roof terrace has plenty of spots for lounging and dining alfresco, and there's a cheery indoor salon with red-and-white striped decor and cozy couches. On your charter, you'll slowly sail down the Nile River from Luxor to Aswan. You can charter just the yacht voyage or book the Ultimate Egypt trip , which includes adventures on land as well as the yacht charter (think: private tours of the pyramids, exploring temples, or taking a jeep safari around Siwa).

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

One of 2022's most anticipated travel launches is the new The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection . While this is technically a small-ship cruise, every element has been designed to make you feel as if you are aboard a superyacht. The fleet will ultimately have three custom-built yachts, each with 149 suites. However, in 2022, the collection will launch with their first luxury vessel: Evrima . The suites all have private terraces, which isn't something you can expect aboard even the largest superyacht. And of course, the amenities are incredible. It has a beautiful spa, stunning marina terrace (set up like a yacht beach club), an infinity-edge pool, a large gym, and plenty of entertainment. The dining options are seemingly endless, including the main restaurant, the Evrima Room, S.E.A., which features a menu by acclaimed chef Sven Elverfeld of Aqua, Talaat Nam, a Southeast Asian spot, and several casual options.

What was the most memorable highlight of your yacht charter vacation? 

The crew moved us around a lot, so we covered  a lot of beautiful places & that was really appreciated!  It was nice not to set up transportation to and from airport (Chef Erin handled that) and taxi to/from one of the restaurants.  Sunsets, listening to music, snorkeling in great spots, laughing, relaxing and playing in one of the prettiest areas in the world was a definite highlight!!

"One of the things I noticed was there seemed to be a perfect amount of interaction with the Odyssea Crew. Good service without hovering. We were allowed to help ourselves and participate in sailing wherever we chose to.

3. Top notch. Meals, table settings and presentation were fantastic.

It’s was perfect. The combo of the yacht, crew, attitude was perfect. There wasn’t one thing we found lacking! The food was over the top, better than we expected. Carla has a great attitude and served a labor of love from her galley. Allie could not have have been more cheerful or helpful. The weather was perfect. We had a clear understanding of what we wanted to do and we really enjoyed it.

9. Overall Satisfaction: The entire experience was amazing. Terry and Ruth were wonderful. You can really tell the difference between a seasoned crew and the younger crews we’ve experienced in the past. Terry was always whistling and cheerful, had endless patience teaching us all about Cat vs Mono sailing and the quirks of The Big Dog, answered a thousand questions and never once seemed put out by our endless curiosity and thirst for knowledge. 

We dove with Terry 3x and he was a wonderful dive master…taking us to 3 sites with a lot of variation and interest. He is always watching out for everyone’s safety above and below the water and has ninja-like abilities to appear with the dinghy just as you need a ride back to the boat from a shore excursion. The condition and layout of The Big Dog is amazing…everything was spotless and ship shape. Spacious cabins, comfortable mooring/anchoring sites, water maker (water pressure was impressive!) and ice maker were a real luxury too! 

Ruth’s meals were outstanding and she is a warm and cheerful presence on the boat. We loved the size of The Big Dog for 8 of us-her spacious deck space, the big fly deck, the cabins…everything. The layout with the galley being down below made it seem as if meals magically appeared out of nowhere. That was a fun surprise as we hadn’t been on a Cat with that configuration before. 

We would give this boat and crew our HIGHEST recommendation. This is now our 4th crewed charter in the VI’s and The Big Dog takes the prize in every category. First class crew, first class cuisine, first class vessel. 

We will definitely book again and just recommended The Big Dog to another friend who is considering a crewed BVI charter (I also of course recommended Yacht Charters Guru).

Post-Charter Review From Our Clients: 

1. Crew Friendliness: Both Sid and Jack were personable and we got to know them well over the course of our 7 day charter. Jack, answered my countless questions about the boat and sailing and Sid was always ready to help no matter what it was.

2. Crew Knowledge: We found the crew very knowledgeable on our destination, the US Virgin Islands, all the sights, attractions and best mooring spots. Sid and Jack were well versed on the operation of the boat and worked well as a team in all phases of its operational.

3. Quality of Service: Everything was top notch, Lisa and I frequently would say "we were so glad that we selected to do a charter.

4. Professionalism of Crew: It was clear that Sid and Jack enjoyed what they do and it showed in the their professionalism and personable level of service they provided.

5. Value of the Cost of the Charter: We feel that doing the charter was a great value. We originally were going to get a hotel, rent a car and tour around by ourselves. But because of the logistics around doing this we considered a charter. We did not select the charter initially because of value but for convenience. In the end Lisa and I both felt the charter was a great value, when factoring in lodging, food, transportation, fuel, sightseeing and the overall fun factor.

6. On-Board Cuisine: We had almost all of our meals On-Board. All of the meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner were different offering great variety. The meals were well prepared, tasty and artfully presented. Lisa has a salt-free diet restrictions and Sid did a great job in the meal preparation to accommodate this.

7. Destination/Location: The main initiative to visit the US VI was to see the National Park on St John Island. They positioned the boat so that we were able to see everything in the park we wanted to see. Also we were able to coordinate doing the reef trail hike, in the down hill direction, and having the boat pick us up off the beach after the hike.

8. Water Sports: Our main water sport was snorkeling and we did it everyday some days at several locations. We also sailed to St Croix and back which was a fantastic experience we will not forget.

Erin, thank you for nailing our menu for the week! Every single meal catered to the various food preferences of our family (vegetarian, dairy free, etc.) and they were super delicious. Some of our favorites include your poke bowls, fresh tortellini, Caribbean chicken, breakfast strata, the banana pancake bar, your signature rum cake and your infamous sourdough bread. You are an amazing chef who took significant care to make sure our food preferences were incorporated and each of us had plenty of healthy food. The afternoon snacks, and cocktails were simply the icing on the cake!

Capt Cory and Chef Emily were wonderful. The food was fantastic-every meal we were impressed with Chef Emily’s creativity and skill. Lisa is having some issues with gluten. Emily went above and beyond in creating meals that Lisa could eat- and they were 5 star. My daughter, Anna, said before the trip that one of the things she was looking forward to was the food- she was not disappointed. 

We loved the scuba. We are newly certified divers and they made us feel comfortable and safe. We appreciated Capt Cory giving us an itinerary based on his experience- he didn’t disappoint. The trip was perfect for us- we were content to spend time on the boat relaxing/reading while also spending time snorkeling, hiking, scuba, etc. We would definitely sail with Capt Cory and Chef Emily again. ~C. We’re very comfortable on this boat, but it is not as luxurious. The USVI has exceeded our expectations! There has been so much to do. Nikki really caters to us to make sure each person is happy. 7. Destination / Location: We visited St. Croix which was a new experience and visited several anchorages at St. John. Each location was memorable.

8. Water-Sports: Many options to chose from. We enjoyed the paddle boards and snorkeling especially at Maho Bay where we saw turtles. Catching a Mahi on the sail back from St. Croix was certainly a highlight.

9. Overall Satisfaction: A+. The trip exceeded our expectations.

What was the most memorable highlight of your yacht charter vacation? Many to chose from but if I had to pick it would be a late afternoon sail as the sun was setting when dolphins appeared on the bow of the boat!

1. Crew Friendliness: Captain Matthias and Dominic were friendly and fun. We even got to meet Matthias' wife and kids the last night of our trip, which was great.

2. Crew Knowledge: Super-knowledgeable about the waters, the islands we visited, fishing, food. 

3. Quality of Service: Dominic's cooking skills are tremendous. We ate the healthiest, freshest and most tasty meals 3 times a day throughout our trip. We were all amazed at what he could accomplish in a galley kitchen. We had fish that Dominic and Matthias had caught themselves every day, and it was all fantastic! Mattias was great problem-solver. When we could not find car rentals with availability in St. Croix, he borrowed a friend's SUV and took us around the island himself - which was so much fun. When the 3 young people in our group got severely seasick on the long sail to St. Croix, he told me where to book seaplane flights for the return trip to St. Thomas, took them to the seaport in the dingy, and then retrieved them at the seaport in St. Thomas. Charlie and I then enjoyed a great return sail with Matthias and Dominic (and no seasick crew) - and the youngsters loved their short and scenic seaplane hop (and a day at a beach bar)!

"Dear Yacht Charters Guru,

I couldn’t have asked for a better match with this boat and crew.

The amount of space, especially with the screened-in area above in the Captains area was a bonus. Baby Charlotte really enjoyed that area and Capt. Roberto was always fun to chat with as we cruised along. Josh even used it for sleeping quarters a few nights because his bunkmate was snoring too loud😂

We felt like we had the most experienced and knowledgeable Captain in Greece. His ability to maneuver that boat in tight quarters and to secure us a space at the docks was amazing, especially at Hydra. He ended up helping other boaters that were struggling on a couple of occasions. Maria was also phenomenal. She actually injured her shoulder a few days into the trip but was as tough as could be in continuing to provide docking support, delicious meals, and service.

The nice thing is that we had members in our family who have managed larger boats on the Great Lakes so Joe provided a helping hand with the lines which he actually loved doing and Capt. Roberto and Maria appreciated. Of course, they were always mindful to keep everyone safe.

Charters in Greece are expensive but with the number of people that we had on board, we felt it was a good value. Your advice to increase the allotment for our APA expenses was good advice. We owed a little for fuel at the end but the cost came close and it was nice to not worry about needing to pay anything significant.

Overall we were extremely pleased and would highly recommend Valium 52, Yacht Guru, Roberto, and Maria. Except for some exceptionally windy and cool weather, which the crew managed well with an additional night in port, everything was perfect.

Thanks again for all of the work that you put into servicing this trip. I know it was exceptional with all of the interruptions and uncertainties due to Covid.

BTW we also experienced some milestones with Baby Charlotte on the trip. She learned to crawl, wave and was working on standing unsupported (on a moving boat😬). Standing on land should come quickly. The most memorable part of the trip for me was watching how much fun my kids had with each other and the crew. We could have been anywhere in the world but being in this beautiful location made it all even better.

The trip was fantastic aboard Catamaran Anastasia.  10/10 on everything.  The food was delicious and Lesli and Ryan did a great job of making sure we were comfortable at all times.  The memorable highlight for me was the day Ryan took us to shore.  We returned to a decorated yacht.  Lesli had hung streamers/balloons and birthday decorations to celebrate my birthday.  She definitely went the extra mile to make sure I felt special! I feel like we made a couple of new friends in Lesli and Ryan.  I would definitely recommend them to someone interested in touring the Virgin Islands.

February 28, 2021 Post Charter Review for Catamaran Azulia II

"We had a delightful week with Dan and Sarah aboard Azulia II.  They are both warm, positive, smart, and interesting people.  As Barn and I approach our 70th birthdays, the time together with our wives relaxing onboard in beautiful surroundings is really what appeals to us.  Dan and Sarah recognized that we were quite happy in and around the yacht without having the need or desire to off-board each day.  We enjoyed a hike in Reiff’s Bay, a snorkel somewhere (I forget where), swims around Azulia, sunbathing on board (Queen), a lunch at Lime-Out, and a dinner at ZoZo’s. 

I’ll answer your specific questions below:

1. Crew Friendliness: 

Wonderful.  Both Dan and Sarah are positive seeking to help their guests enjoy their week in any way they can.  We hit it off with them immediately and for the full duration of our stay.

2. Crew Knowledge: 

Outstanding.  We were fully confident in their expertise in every aspect of their work whether sailing, meals or repairs.  They also helped when I twinged my back and Mary cut her foot.

3. Quality of Service:

Excellent.  Always with a smile.

4. The Professionalism of Crew: 

Excellent.  It became clear quite quickly that our crew was eager to provide a high level of professionalism in all aspects of service.  Yet they displayed a genuine warmth and excitement that we enjoyed.  Crew and guests all enjoyed saying “Attitude”.  

5. Value of the Cost + Expenses Charter: 

Obviously the corona virus pandemic made this a more expensive trip than we had originally planned.  Nevertheless, Barn and Ginny and Mary and me felt the trip well worthwhile.  A week on Azulia was heaven.  The yacht is magnificent, well maintained and roomy (especially with just four guests).

6. On-Board Cuisine: 

Outstanding.  Sarah is an excellent chef.  You would be pleased.  We enjoyed fabulous meals every day. 

7. Destination / Location:

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring areas of St. Thomas and St. John but we did miss the BVI.  The past year has taught everyone to be more flexible and we thoroughly enjoyed our USVI sail.  I don’t think it will surprise you we hope to add the BVI back in future sails.

8. Quality & Variety of Water-Sports & Equipment : 

For our age, we are in excellent shape; however, water sports are no longer a priority.

9. Overall Satisfaction: 

10 of 10.  We loved it. What was the most memorable highlight of your yacht charter vacation?  The sail yesterday from Magen’s Bay to Charlotte Amalie was a marvelous finale.  We “raced” another yacht head to head for much of the sail.  It was spectacular.

1. Crew Friendliness:   Extremely friendly 2. Crew Knowledge:  Captain knew the routes, the best places to harbor, and brought us to some terrific locations. 3. Quality of Service:  Excellent 4. The Professionalism of Crew:   They were terrific, but not so professional that they were unable to fit in and be fun 5. Value of the Cost + Expenses Charter:  I didn't pay, so not sure! 6. On-Board Cuisine:   4 star - actually, probably 5 star.  Amazing food! 7. Destination / Location:  Delightful!  And a picnic on a small deserted beach one day that was breathtaking 8. Quality & Variety of Water-Sports & Equipment:  Good enough. 9. Overall Satisfaction:   VERY SATISFIED! We had a great time! 

January 13-20, 2021 Post Charter Review for Catamaran Rumba

We had a fabulous time.  This trip was with great friends that we have traveled with before and for our 24th anniversary!  We would definitely book again and loved every minute of it.  I wrote a review on google but wanted to include this below:

3. Quality of Service:    8  (maybe a room towel and linen change at least one time)

6. On-Board Cuisine:   9 (more seafood!!!  And maybe more attention to the preference sheet)

7. Destination / Location: 10 

8. Water-Sports:   11 on the snorkeling

We had the best experience.  Hope this helps with your next charter.  It was our first charter so nothing to go off of and we had a fabulous time. The crew was awesome.  

November 21-27, 2020 Post Charter Review for Catamaran Ventana

1. Crew Friendliness:  A++

5. Value of the Cost + Expenses Charter:   Well of course, we would love for it to cost less but you get what you pay for!

6. On-Board Cuisine:  OMGOSH:  THIS WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND IN EVERY WAY ON EVERY MEAL.   

If you have not experienced Christina's culinary extraordinaire experience, then I think you guys need to indulge.

7. Destination / Location:  Absolutely love the location of the USVI's and even more now that I do not want to spend our money where it is not welcomed, i.e., the BVI's

8. Water-Sports:   I did not personally do any water sports other than stand-up paddleboard and apparently, I am not very good but still had fun.  Kids loved them.

9. Overall Satisfaction:   Completely satisfied with all that you delivered.  We will go again when we can.

What was the most memorable highlight of your yacht charter vacation?    The Thanksgiving Feast prepared by Christina (Seafood Feast); Captain Richard's knowledge and love of what he is doing.  Pure relaxation and enjoyment had by our two families. 

Any additional comments you would like to make regarding your vacation experience?    We would highly recommend this charter by your company to others along with the recommendation of The Ventana, Capt. Richard and Christina as crew.  They worked themselves to the bone and did so with smiles and love.  Also, our driver that picked us up at the airport to dock and return was an absolutely wonderful man too.  I would recommend him as well.

We want to thank you for supplying us with all the information we needed to get through the COVIDmania traveling.  The only thing that could have made this trip better would have been to delete COVIDmania and allow us to be on shore together at a restaurant.  We usually enjoyed going ashore for a meal or two but didn't even bother since we could not sit together and wanted to avoid all the hysteria.

1. Crew Friendliness:  Absolutely fantastic, great couple, very professional as crew, they crushed it!


2. Crew Knowledge:  Very good. Capt.Tom knows his way around a boat and seems to be able to fix anything. He’s a little less experienced with the nuances of finding the perfect mooring spot or dive site for the conditions (but we are experienced divers and he knew that), eating places, but knew all the beautiful places to see and made sure we found them. Always safe, professional, both are good sailors, super friendly, lovely, and helpful. Hannah is an absolute gem and the two of them work very well together, patient with changes or requests, never intrusive. We really want to adopt them and keep them forever!!


3. Quality of Service: Excellent


4. The Professionalism of Crew:  Excellent 5. Value of the Charter:  We got a great deal in my opinion. Obviously, the charter was discounted by a huge amount. We didn’t eat out very much (only one lunch and one dinner) because Hannah was an excellent chef and the way the itinerary worked, we really ended up in remote places, but we liked that! 6. On-Board Cuisine:  Excellent 7. Destination / Location: Great. I like the BVIs better because of the variety, but we sailed to St Croix which was a first for me, and there are plenty of places around St John and STT to play and enjoy. 8. Water-Sports:  Great, both Tom and Hannah did a great job facilitating diving both from the dinghy and the yacht, Tom came snorkeling (and diving of course) with us, we used the paddleboards and floats a lot, wish we could’ve done some tubing which we didn’t have time to try. 9. Overall Satisfaction: Amazingly wonderful.  Can't wait to do it again.

"The trip with Captain Jake and Stephanie on Catamaran Dreamcatcher was over the top. They are extremely professional and amazing. Each meal was delicious. They provided everything we wanted. They know the area very well. Each location they took us to was perfect. The main point that really stands out is their knowledge of sailing. We hit a strong storm (45 knots). We never felt unsafe because they worked together as a team. I HIGHLY recommend this crew.

You will be hearing from us again as our hope is to repeat this same trip next year and extending it for a full week. Overall this was a fabulous vacation. Working with YachtCharters.Guru on the planning was great. We are definitely going to give you guys a well-deserved review.

Capt. Dylan & Chef Gi on Catamaran Slivochka

Thank you for making this first voyage for our kiddos such a success! Jack & I have dreamed of introducing then to such a vacation. Your patience, attention to all of the details, and special touches made it a perfect trip. Magdalene (9 yrs old) will forever remember the snorkeling, getting to touch a jellyfish diving down to touch a rock, seeing a grand sea turtle, and of course her new special friend “Rob” the Conch. :) Capt. Dylan, your patience & guidance helped make all of these things possible. Jaxie (8 yrs old) loved sitting on the nets with the wind blowing on her face, snorkeling tubing & of course the early morning chats with you both. Maverick (4 yrs old) first tubing experience, searching for shells, and he will likely keep dreaming of Gi’s sweets for years to come! Truly, a wonderful, fabulous journey with you both. The pirate Thanksgiving lunch was a terrific treat.

We just completed a week in Greece aboard charter catamaran Sea Energy V for 10 guests. For most people chartering a boat is a big deal. It's a financial commitment and requires advanced planning. I would only want to charter a boat using Capt. Randy & Shelly via YachtCharters.Guru as our broker. They were the key to making the entire process smooth and stressfree all the way from the boat selection, the contract review, answering a million questions that we had, plus coordinating with the boat captain. What can we say about our vacation with Jason, Kate and Miss T on 62' Catamaran Foxy Lady ? We’ve been blessed to take some nice trips in our life and this was, without question, the best vacation we’ve ever taken. A fabulous vessel with attention to detail, kindness, service, creativity, amazing food, fishing, snorkeling, skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, exploring, special attention to birthday celebrations (two 50-year-olds and one forty-year-old celebration), games, laughter, music, friendship....we could go on and on. 

One more important note, the captain and crew treated our 13-year-olds like their own, constantly keeping them entertained and having fun; which is not always easy. I would trust them again with our children...100%. We also knew safety was the top priority from the moment we stepped on our boat.

When we left for home, we were sad to see the week go by so fast but happy to have gained three new friends. My hope is that we can stay in touch and cross paths again.

You all had your hands full with the Chris 50th Birthday Cruising and Boozing Crew on Catamaran LIR . We were greeted with smiles and hospitality that never ended!! The boat remained spotless, the food amazing and the sailing beautiful. We were able to get everyone in and out of the tender without any oops! HA HA HA. Chris´s birthday lobster feast was so well set up and well beyond what we expected. We enjoyed a 21lbs Turkey, which only just fitted the oven! It was an absolute feast! Night time fish watching and star gazing. We are BLESSED to have shared this experience with both sets of our parents and two best friends that are like family.

From Nancy:  "We sailed aboard the yacht Kestrel with Captain Andrew & Chef/ First Mate Kailee July 1st to 8th. There were 8 of us which included our children & grandkids. By far this was our best vacation ever! The boat was spacious, clean, and well maintained and exceeded our expectations. Andrew took us to amazing snorkeling locations, fun, beach bars, shopping, and made sure our every wish was executed perfectly. My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary aboard and Andrew served as our officiate for our vow renewal (which was a surprise to me). Kailee was an amazing chef even baked us a special cake for our anniversary. We had 3 hot meals every day that was wonderful. Andrew and Kailee were such great hosts I got teary when we left. It felt as though we were leaving family. We will cherish the great memories of this vacation." 

From Joe:  "I was happy that the crew knew immediately how to get in the groove with the younger people on the boat. Of course, Nancy & I didn't have a clue what they were talking about most of the time; but we really liked how the crew connected with everyone. Andrew did a super great job of performing a mock wedding ceremony to celebrate our 20th anniversary and the cake was fantastic. The cabins & beds were plenty big enough. The yacht is really clean & in good shape. I liked how Andrew always managed to anchor away from all the other boats. That gave us some nice space on a busy week. We may never be able to pay for a trip like this for our family again, but we sure are happy that we did it once on catamaran Kestrel."

"It was truly one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The crew on  Catamaran Lolalita  couldn't have done anything better. They were very easy to be around, friendly, humorous & fun to hang around with. All this while doing their jobs with ease & always trying to accommodate us in all areas. We felt like they were part of our "family". They made this trip extremely enjoyable. They were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the boat & made us feel very secure. Every meal was top notch, tasty & presentation was always beautiful. The charter was well worth every penny we paid. Never being to BVI, everywhere we went was better than the one before in some way. March 3, 2017 Hello, Shelly. We just wanted to say thank you for all your help organizing our family’s tandem vacation on  Catamaran Bamarandi . What a wonderful time away we all had. It far surpassed any expectations we may have had, and will be the topic of choice when discussing our best memories for years to come. As our family spent most of our time on board Bamarandi, we felt it would be appropriate to comment on our experience. From the first time we stepped on deck, we were welcomed with open hearts. Donald and Audrey worked tirelessly to ensure we were always comfortable, entertained, and extremely well cared for and well-fed! We were so impressed with their level of professionalism and competence. They were always mindful of our children, whether it was looking out for their safety while playing with all the amazing toys, instructing and leading them in scuba diving, or just spending time entertaining them with Caribbean stories, history and card tricks! Of course, the kids enjoyed their time with Richard as well, who made our stay so comfortable, they were wishing he would come home with us!! The boat itself is lovely and modern. It was meticulously kept and very comfortable for our large family of 7. There’s just something so relaxing about being gently rocked to sleep each night! Our time on the Lotus lived up to all the expectations we had. it is going to be almost impossible to ever go back to a resort or to go back to every night cooking, because the Lotus crew spoiled us (We enjoyed it very much). • The crew has been absolutely amazing! From the minute our car arrived at the dock they have been incredible. The hospitality has been beyond expectations. We had to do nothing for ourselves and they made us all feel at home. Then, the food!! Rico is an incredibly gifted chef. To prepare meals of this calibre in a small space is amazing. His attention to detail, flavour, and presentation is second to none. His personality is larger than life and it makes meals that much more enjoyable. Diane, well she is out of this world! Her joy for her work is apparent with everything she does. Always happy, always smiling and always not wanting us to do anything... so she can do it for us. Captain Ian is the consummate pro! • Hey Amanda! We’re home and unpacked ready for our next adventure. We had a blast on this charter. The new crew is phenomenal, and Melissa is an unbelievable cook. This was their first charter on this boat, and the boat threw them some curveballs but they handled it well. The owner stepped up and paid for our diving in the Tobago Cays because we missed a day of diving for boat repair. I have to agree with you on the boating in the Grenadines. It’s a hidden gem. We went to Bequia, Mayreu, Canouan, and Carriacou. I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot more crowded now that the insurance companies are making the boats get out of the hurricane belt. We’re already talking about booking for next year….Have fun at the boat show, and have a rumrunner at the Elbow Room for me! J.S.

• Sally, the crew members were the best of all crews I've had. Ian, Diane, Rico are impeccable and genuinely happy caring people. As for Tender To yacht itself, it's great for a couple as it has his & hers full bathrooms separately. The master suite section of the yacht is larger than those on larger yachts (ie. Lady Sharon Gale). The yacht doesn't have a glass door. Living/dining area is open to outside. So, it might not be suitable for people who need strong AC or cold living space. For me, it wasn't an issue this time, but it could be in Aug when temperature is higher. Though you would lose clear views, they have a nylon shield cover with zippers to close off the living/dining area to keep cold air in living space. We did not need to use it this time. It was an exceptional charter experience and I thank you for making that happen. YB

• Hi Sally, sorry we have been busy since our return! Our trip was fantastic! The boat was gorgeous and we hardly wanted to leave it even to snorkel! It was clean and quite stunning and amazing places to just sit and relax. Both Chester and Jen are amazing and the most perfect crew and chef we could ask for. The food was outstanding and they were absolutely fun! They were professional and non-intrusive in any way and are just the perfect match for this boat! I would absolutely recommend Euphoria and Chester and Jen any day for any vacation! Mr & Mrs S

• Good morning Martha! We all were so pleased w every single person on the crew. Captain Scott was/is absolutely professional, knowledgeable, and personable as well. Jared, Jordan, and Jake each added to our positive experience aboard Serenity. Anya was attentive (but not overly!) and always paying attention to details and remembering each of our guests personal preferences. Sam and Rachel were likewise very good. I think a special acknowledgment goes to Jim, our chef. We were extremely fortunate to have him. His meals were tailored to EACH of our tastes; all meals were fresh, well-seasoned, creative and scrumptious! In addition, he was delightful to talk to about his passionate cooking. Thank you, Martha, for providing us all with an extraordinary experience.
• Trina, everything was great. Jim was fantastic and did the work on at least two people by himself. I'm not sure how he did it but the food was wonderful and he was totally accommodating to all of our requests. We had a great trip!
• Trina - all sorted no problems. Christy and Heff were extremely professional and friendly. They carried out all their duties without hesitation and were willing to make extra effort to ensure we had a dream holiday. We cannot praise them enough! The food was excellent and their attention to detail on the yacht was very impressive. Deck crew Mandy was also a star - quietly making sure everything was perfect. All in all a great success!
• It was always my plan for such a large charter yacht to be a one-time experience on this milestone birthday, but I have caught the big boat bug, so perhaps our paths will cross again next year!?

• Dear Martha, First and foremost this is to let you know that all eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our 9 days aboard S/Y Taboo which was largely due to Miranda’s commitment to seeing that the charter was seamlessly delivered with a positive attitude. Miranda led from the front and was an equally competent seaman as she was cook. We consider that the pride that Miranda and David take in ensuring that S/Y Taboo is properly maintained ensures that intrusive break downs are minimised. Miranda has trained up her young crew, Sam and Julia so that they support her in running the yacht and they interfaced well with us the charter guests ensuring that we lacked nothing. • Amanda, We loved the trip. Mischa and Lenny were a great crew, the perfect pair. Loved the Ohana, fantastic boat for 6 people. Food was fabulous. Overall satisfaction was a 10 on a scale of 1-10, we don't have any suggestions on how it could have been better. Hope to travel with them again. The diving worked out very well, rendezvous diving was fine. Given the amount of diving we wanted to do, 3 days, we did not need tanks etc. on board. Certification process for two of our group was just fine. Blue Water Divers (first 2 days) were better than Jost Van Dyke dives. But that's really just about dive sites. We'd definitely do this again. Just like to do different things so next time, we'd probably do the Bahamas.

• Amanda, we had a great time. One of our best vacations ever. The yacht was in great condition and kept up well. Overall relative to Miracle it was in much better condition. The crew was great and they were always flexible looking to try to make our experience was a great one. Except for a rough ride from Anguilla to St Barth’s, there is nothing to complain about at all. Going into that, Kemuel warned us it would be bumpy so we had full disclosure and charged ahead.  It was a truly great time. Thanks
• Oh, my goodness, Trina, it was fabulous!!!!  I really can’t imagine a more incredible experience.  I don’t think the Queen is provided better service, food, or amenities.  Yet all in a very friendly, comfortable environment.  It was everything we had ever hoped a charter experience would be.

• Trina, Regarding our cruise and Sorana this is what I can give you as feedback: we had ok weather with the sky (some rains and grey skies sometimes) but this was ok and expected, but we had quite unusual (moderately) strong winds - especially when cruising between the islands of course and the flybridge on Sorana did not help the global balance of the boat both while cruising and sometimes while mooring...  we had already experienced 2 or 3 times Princess boats and had a better memory of stability... a catamaran is much more stable of course especially while mooring, and due to these winds we could almost not enjoy the flybridge even when mooring. Regarding the boat itself: not brand new but very well maintained, large master and vip cabin, so perfect for a family of 4 (only our 14yo younger son had the small twin cabin but he did not complain too much!!!). Great crew - Jean Marc (the captain) knows the region very well and the boat perfectly since he is responsible for it all year long. Marie (cook/maid/hostess) knows also both the region and the boat very well since she works on a yearly basis on the boat too, she is very efficient at everything (maid, assistant for the captain and cook). They were both very flexible about everything (itinerary was not optimal because we had to cruise North couple of times but Jean Marc was flexible about it), Marie could prepare us a short notice dinner for 6 people (friends of the other boat), and we could host a 14 people cocktail + snacks also that thrilled our guests - her food was great from the start to the end (I came back with at least 4-5extra pounds...) As a result I left them the APA balance + extra tip - they looked very happy about it. If you have any other specific questions, then feel free to ask.
• Hi Trina, we had a great time. It was the first trip for that boat coming out of the yard so there were some hiccups with water leaking and the TV working properly, but all in all, the crew did a great job.Jordan is a great young captain and has assembled a nice team. The food was good and healthy which is what I requested. My expectations were met and I would recommend them to a friend if I had the chance. 
• Trina: Our charter aboard Whispers II was an unqualified success. Not only did Whispers II meet my expectations, but Noel and Patricia were exceptional.  A bit of research on boats and trust in the charter company can be, to a significant degree, determined on line.  But the crew comes with the boat, and there’s nothing much one can do in that regard. That only makes their performance that much more special to us. It did rain more often that my recollection, but that was about it. Indeed, I had expected significantly more traffic since my last Grenadines trip 9 years ago, specially coupled with the unfortunate destruction further north.  But we had several anchorages all to our self, and other shared others with less than a ½ dozen boats. And it would be less than fair not to thank you for your almost instant availability, sound advice and prompt answers to issues not immediately at hand. I’m not sure when or exactly in what manner we might do this again, but if so my first and only call will be to Charter World. Thanks.
• Amanda, We could use those "warm' regards - it was -1 when we got home last night!  Our holiday on McGregor exceeded our expectations; which says a lot considering how excited we were for this vacation!  The McGregor was beautiful - so lovely and well maintained.  The pictures of the interior of the boat didn't do justice to the gorgeous wood! We had a blast and Tim did a great job of helping us to set an itinerary each day.  The girls loved diving with Tim and snorkeling was definitely everyone's favorite!  Tim and Julie both went above and beyond and made us feel really special. Julie's food was out of this world!  She did a great job of serving meals that everyone loved - and they were healthy!!  As a family with 2 in college (and full-time jobs during the summer) and 1 busy in high school we really don't share meals very often.  Meal time was my favorite time - we enjoyed delicious food that everyone loved and we ate together (AND I didn't have to cook!). At the end of our stay Tim asked us if we had any suggestions.  We thought hard about it and we honestly couldn't think of a single thing that would have made our trip more special (well, Libby did say she couldn't get enough of Julie's bread:).  My only frustration was my own fault... I'm ashamed to say I over packed.  If only I stuck to your packing list!! Thank you once again for all your help.  We look forward to working with you again as well!

• Amanda, Thanks for checking in. We are home safe and sound after a most wonderful vacation. Tara, Grand and Tyler were beyond fantastic! Please let the owners know what a wonderful crew they have found. • Hi Sally, The trip was simply fantastic, start to finish!  I can't say enough about how well we were taken care of by Ben and Elizabeth.  They were lovely hosts and provided top notch food, drinks and service!  The boat was beautiful, clean and very well equipped.  Ben gave us daily suggestions on where to go and what and to do and they were always spot on.  And the food, OMG it was like eating every meal in a 5 star restaurant - healthy, delicious and something different every night.  Elizabeth was superb!  The weather was also perfect, though I hesitate to give the crew full credit for that. In short, we feel we really lucked out with the selection of the Sea Anemone as it would be impossible to believe a better choice could have been made.  This boat and crew are the best! • Hi Amanda, We had a magnificent time. We loved everything about our charter. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The captain and his crew were friendly and respectful. The chef Danielle was truly amazing and gifted. By far the best chef we have ever had on a charter and world class for any restaurant. Benito was also the best dive master we ever had. So good we may try to hire him for other excursions. The only thing even though the boat is first class is it’s a little tight. But for diving it was perfect it was a benefit as we could just dive right from the boat and it could get to all the places without us needing to go by tender. • Dear Sally, Thank you once again for arranging our charter with Bones and Anna on Emily Morgan! We had a really lovely time. I know a little bit about “customer service” and can tell you Anna and Bones are naturals, it is clear they really enjoy looking after their guests. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really went out of their way to try to ensure we had the best possible holiday. They are just lovely genuine people who are people lovers as well as boat lovers… some might say a rare combination! Emily Morgan is a beautiful example of a classically designed sailing yacht. Extremely sturdy and seaworthy, as well as spacious and practical. She provides charterers with lots of space inside and out to lounge and relax, and a great platform to enjoy water sports and generally have fun on the water or ashore. She has been immaculately maintained by A&B, who are clearly very experienced sailors and engineers. The itinerary was somewhat curtailed by the weather and our own circumstances, but I am sure A&B made the most of what was available, they are very knowledgeable of the area we cruised allowing us to explore some beautiful secluded bays around Antigua. • We had a great time.  This could be the shortest charter on record.  I think we moved 2 miles.  :)The reason we didn’t move much is because the wind and the location were awesome for kiting.  We kited every day.  When we were not kiting we went snorkeling, swimming and tubing.  All in all, we had a great time. The crew was great.  Great personality fit with our family.  They were professional, yet casual and approachable.  The food was great.  Vicky is a very good cook who takes her craft very seriously and with great pride.  I would recommend the Aoibh and the crew to a friend - that is probably the best thing I can say.
• Hi Amanda, The charter was an amazing experience.  The perfect celebration for a 60th B-day.  Naom and Dalit were fantastic.  I don't think it would be possible for them to provide a better experience.  They were kind, patient, engaging, fun, concerned, thorough, and accommodating, I'm running out of superlatives! The food was great, the itinerary was great, the yacht was great, and even the weather cooperated to a certain extent.  I asked the group on the last day if they would have changed anything, and they said no.  I can only give you positives about the cruise, because there really were no negatives.  We are already talking about a return visit, and would definitely plan the cruise around Naom and Dalit's availability and their yacht..   Thank you for all of your help.  We will definitely steer our family and friends to you because of your excellent service. • Trina, coming into the trip we had extremely high expectations for the yacht and the trip, I can say without any reservation that all our expectations have been completely blown away. The yacht itself was breathtaking, the accommodations in every room were wonderful. The route that that the captain laid out was also perfect, we enjoyed all our destinations. But above all, the crew was amazing. Captain Mauricio was a professional in every regard, not only did he always make us feel safe, but he made sure to accommodate every request. We felt like we were on a trip with friends, from Victor's cooking to JP's polite and funny attitude, to Alyssa's professionalism, the trip felt like we had 4 more friends on it. • Dear Sally, The yacht was in tip-top condition (effectively new) and fitted out to the highest standard. The master cabin was spacious and comfortable, but shared a head and shower with the starboard side twin cabin. The port side twin cabin had its own head and shower, but very restricted headroom for one of the bunks. The galley and dining area was roomy, light and had excellent views, whilst the cockpit external dining area (which we used most of the time and seated 6 in comfort) was really luxurious and seemed unique in a yacht of this size. The bimini gave sun and rain protection and could be stowed away in seconds. The swimming deck was easy to deploy and access and the water maker was a real luxury – there was always plenty of fresh water. The front sun deck was a nice feature, especially when coming into port, and the rear rail seating was comfortable and safe even when cruising fast at a 25 degree heel.
• Sally, happy new year to you too! Trip was awesome. We enjoyed every element of it - boat, crew, itinerary, BVIs, food, weather. The boat is in impeccable condition and sails brilliantly - for a luxury cruising boat it is unusually light, agile and quick. Simon, Ash, Mariannes and Richard were professional, friendly, flexible, highly competent, very responsible on spending, and took enormous pride in showcasing the boat 'as new' to us every day. They also made a particular effort to accommodate and tailor the trip to the needs of our kids. Simon sets a very high standard in everything that he does and is simply a skipper of the highest quality! • Trina, Thank you for your note following up on our trip.  We just arrived home and sadly, it is 42 and raining as opposed to 80 and sunny in St Thomas.  I will happily give you feedback on our trip and please feel free to share it with the owner. Overall, we had a tremendous time and the trip exceeded our expectations. The boat:  Wow, what a beautiful sailboat. It had just come out of the yard for an extensive series of repairs and the boat was in beautiful shape. The boat was spotless when we got on board and she really was beautiful sitting in the marina.  I had never sailed a Swan before and my family loved every minute we sailed.  We sailed to windward for the first 5 days followed by two decent downwind legs to end the charter.  The boat sails like a dream and we were regularly sailing at 8-10 knots with great ease.  As a long time sailor, I really appreciated how graceful a sailboat she is.  My sons were in heaven. The crew:  The crew had only been together for a short period and this was their first charter together.  In fact, I think they picked up the boat only a week or so before the crossing.  As such, there were a few very minor kinks that they were working out none of which were problems.  Ben was an outstanding captain.  A skilled sailor who did a really nice job of balancing safety first with the desire to ensure we had a good experience.  He was always smart about having the right amount of sail up and only in one very minor squall did we have too much sail out.  We were active participants in all aspects of the sail including preparing the boat for sailing, skippering, sheeting, and putting away all the gear afterwards.  He was also very flexible on our route and we determined the next day’s sale each night depending on weather forecast and desire of our family.  I happen to know the area pretty well and that helped.  Edmund was still learning how best to work with Ben but he was always the first one up, the boat was spotless due to his efforts, and he was friendly, inclusive, and got along fabulously with my kids. Katie was a remarkable cook and Simone was the friendlies stewardess we could imagine.  We ate like kings and they both made us feel incredibly comfortable.  They are both true professionals and Simone in particular did a remarkable job of making us feel comfortable at the same time she was clearing and preparing the cabins.  She always had a smile on her face and a happy demeanor.  She worked hard but always seemed relaxed and happy.  We really enjoyed getting to know them. It is amazing how fast a week can go by but this trip exceeded our high expectations both in terms of how magnificent the boat is but really due to how great the crew was.  None of us wanted to leave. I am not sure when we will charter again but if we decide to, we will certainly reach out to you.  You were great to deal with and helped make our family vacation a true success. Take care. • Hello Reia, I've had the best charter on Sorana. Main reason was that I was by myself. And the crew were the happiest crew I've seen on any other yachts. The cuisine prepared on the yacht was prepared for my requested style and taste. The area was fantastic. I like it more than St.Barts area. • Dear Sally, We had a wonderful time on Synchronicity. I have to say we were a bit anxious as it was our first experience with a chartered boat (we are more used to renting bareboat).
• We loved it. I am really jammed with work and I hope you have had a chance to talk to Mary. The crew was great the food good and they worked really, really hard to make sure we had a great time. 
• Trina, Both the family side and friend side of the trip had a fabulous time.  The crew was terrific.  They were engaged with guests in all activities and truly seemed to enjoy themselves. Chef Lulu was phenomenal.   We did a lot of water sports including snorkeling, seabobs, rope swing, slide, boating etc. and the crew really like to be engaged in these activities.  While this is my first charter so I don’t have any crew to compare, my wife and I and all of my guests would give them high ratings.  Let me know what more I can tell you about the crew.  
• The yacht was spectacular.  The layout, furnishings, atmosphere and amenities were amazing (except not having sea bobs, but I am pretty sure the owner is going to buy some seabobs as the guests and crew absolutely loved them!).   It seemed every other boat had yacht envy as they were always circling the yacht!  We did see Seahawk and Rose Hearty which was fun.  The BVI itinerary worked well and Captain Simon was very flexible on what we wanted to do.  New Year’s Eve could not have worked out any better.  
• Best vacation that a whole lot of money can buy!

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“ Terms ”) CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, REMEDIES AND OBLIGATIONS AS WELL AS A SECTION GOVERNING THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF DISPUTES. THESE TERMS ALSO CONTAIN A LEGALLY BINDING RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK. By creating a username, a login, clicking submit, using the services of Charter Experts, LLC d/b/a Virgin Island Sailing® (“ Broker ) or by accessing Broker’s website, you agree that you have read, and acknowledge your acceptance of these Terms. The Terms are subject to change at any time without notice at Broker’s sole discretion. Additionally, any transaction for which you have made payment shall be governed by the form of Terms in effect at the time of such payment notwithstanding any subsequent changes hereto.

If you are obtaining a quote, information, booking travel for and/or securing or procuring a Charter (as that term is defined in Section 1 below) for more than just yourself, all references below to “Charterer” or “you” (and derivations thereof) shall be read to mean you on behalf of yourself and each individual within your group for whom you are obtaining a quote, information, booking travel for and/or securing or procuring Charter.

These Terms shall be read together and construed, to the fullest extent possible, to be in concert with any other agreement by or among Broker and Charterer. To the extent they cannot be so construed, then in the event of any direct conflict between these Terms and any other agreement by or among Broker and Charterer (including but not limited to the agreement executed by Charterer for a Charter Reservation (as that term is defined in Section 1 below), these Terms shall prevail.

• Prepaid Charter Reservations . Typically, Broker negotiates charter rates in advance with the yacht owner or charter company (“ Charter Provider ”) to obtain cost-effective rates, and facilitate reservations and availability for yacht charters, excursions and travel (the “ Charter ”). Broker also provides services to you by facilitating the booking of reservations for consideration and receives a commission from the Charter Provider (the “ Broker Fee ”). The Broker Fee is included in the pre-negotiated Charter rate provided to you, plus taxes and other fees where applicable. You agree that your payment is for the total amount set forth in the applicable Charter agreement (which Charter Provider may refer to as a Charter Contract, Charter Agreement, Booking Terms & Conditions, Instructions and Terms for Accommodations, as well as other derivations) provided to you by Broker (“ Charter Agreement ”). Upon execution of the Charter Agreement and receipt of the applicable deposit, you will have made a reservation for the Charter that authorizes Broker to facilitate the Charter on your behalf (“Charter Reservation”), including making payment arrangements with the Charter Provider. You further agree that Broker is a third-party beneficiary to the Charter Agreement and shall have the right to enforce such agreement to the extent it deems such enforcement necessary or advisable to protect its rights hereunder or under the Charter Agreement.

  Broker retains the Broker Fee as compensation in arranging your Charter Reservation. The Broker Fee varies based on the amount and type of Charter and/or services provided by Broker.  By making a Charter Reservation, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of the Charter Provider set forth in the Charter Agreement. Cancellation and no-show policies vary for each Charter. Carefully read the Charter Agreement and additional information provided to you by Broker. It is expressly agreed by Charterer that the Broker Fee is earned at the time the Charter Reservation is made. Late payment, wrong credit card or debit card details, invalid credit or debit cards, or insufficient funds are for your own risk and account, and you will not be entitled to any refund of any prepaid amount unless the Charter Provider expressly agrees otherwise under the Charter Agreement or in some other signed writing.

• Charter Rules and Restrictions . Additional terms and agreements will apply to your Charter Reservation and any purchase or rental of equipment or other items, supplies, provisions and travel you may select. Please read those additional terms carefully. In particular, if you have purchased airfare, please ensure that you read the full terms and conditions of carriage issued by the supplier. You agree to abide by the terms of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including but not limited to payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability, charges, fares, and use of products and services.
• Payment . All payments must be made by personal check, bank/wire transfer, ACH payment and/or with a major credit card unless otherwise expressly stated. The total price for the Charter Reservation will be billed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated. Some banks and credit card companies impose fees for international transactions. If you are making a reservation from outside of the United States on a US credit card, your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. This means the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore a different figure than the amount provided by Broker for the Charter Reservation. In addition, a foreign transaction fee may be assessed if the financial institution that issued your credit card is located outside of the United States. Booking international travel may be considered to be an international transaction by the financial institution or card company. The currency exchange rate and foreign transaction fee is determined solely by your financial institution on the day that it processes the transaction. If you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your booking, please contact your financial institution. Broker shall not be liable to you for any such service, conversion, or exchange fee.

  Broker expressly reserves the right to cancel your Charter Reservation if full payment is not timely received as set forth in the Charter Agreement.

• Cancellation and Rescheduling . You may cancel or change your Charter Reservation as set forth in the Charter Agreement by and among you, the Charter Provider and/or Broker. Please note that some Charter Providers do not permit changes to or cancellation of reservations after they are made, or after a certain date, as indicated in the Charter Agreement. You agree to abide by the terms of the Charter Agreement with respect to your Charter Reservation. Broker will not be responsible for reimbursing Charterer for any previously tendered deposits or payments by Charterer and disclaims all liability for the failure of a Charter Provider to refund or return any such funds.
• Credit Card Transactions and Chargebacks . If for any reason, any Charter Provider is unable to provide the Charter, or any part thereof, for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the Charter Provider, and not against Broker. However, Broker will use reasonable efforts to assist you and Charter Provider in reaching a resolution to a dispute between you and the Charter Provider. In the event that your payment has already been transferred from Broker to Charter Provider or to an escrow account, you agree that you will not seek a chargeback against Broker for such amounts transferred. You further agree to indemnify and hold Broker harmless from and against any liability, loss, damage or expense (including without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) that Broker may incur in connection with chargebacks against Broker or under the Charter Agreement and your performance thereunder. If Broker incurs any costs, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company or other financial institution, you agree that you will be liable for these costs. If your payment is declined for any reason, you agree to settle any amounts owed to Broker via money order, cashier’s check, personal check or bank/ACH transfer immediately.
• Broker Responsibility . Broker makes arrangements with the Charter Provider. Broker additionally makes additional arrangements with other suppliers for the various components and other services that comprise your Charter (“Charter Suppliers”). Broker is not an agent of these Charter Providers or the Charter Suppliers (and the Charter Providers and Charter Suppliers are not agents of Broker). Broker expressly disclaims any liability for the actions or omissions of the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers. The Charter Providers and the Charter Suppliers reserve the right to refuse service to you at their sole discretion. Broker assumes no liability for the acts of the Charter Provider or the Charter Suppliers in refusing service. Broker is not responsible for schedule changes and does not offer compensation for those changes. Broker is not responsible under any circumstances for any injury or damages you may suffer, in connection with sea, air or ground transportation, hotel accommodations, or other travel or excursion services arranged by Broker.

  You understand Broker is not the source or supplier of the Charter or other travel services you requested and acts solely as a broker for the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers. You agree that the Charter Provider and Charter Suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to you are those who are solely responsible for providing the Charter you purchase. You consent to and request the use of the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers and agree to not hold Broker responsible should any of them: (i) fail to provide the Charter or travel services you purchased, whether or not such services are listed in the Charter Agreement or otherwise, (ii) fail to comply with any applicable law, or (iii) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes you any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

By using Broker’s services, you waive and release any claim against Broker, its affiliated and subsidiary companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, arising out of or in connection with any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of (i) any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission, or any failure of performance of any kind, by any Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, or any other provider of sea, airline, hotel, ground transportation or any other travel provider connected to or otherwise associated with the Charter, (ii) any claim for inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar claim, (iii) any delayed departure, missed connection, substitute accommodation, termination of service or change in fares or rates, and (iv) overbooking, flight or other travel cancellation, lost or misconnected personal property, or any claim arising out of the air transportation portion of your travel, and (v) or any other claim arising out of or otherwise related to the Charter Agreement or services provided by the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers.

Excepting only liability that directly arises from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Broker, you will not hold Broker responsible for any injury, damage or loss you may suffer while on a Charter, whether incurred on the Charter or in connection with any other rental, purchase, excursion or activity, regardless of the relationship of any of the foregoing with the Charter Provider or the Charter Suppliers.

• Your Responsibility . By booking a Charter with Broker, you agree to defend and indemnify and hold harmless Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature, including but not limited to reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with: (i) your breach of these Terms or the documents referenced herein; (ii) your violation of any law or rights of a third party; or (iii) your use of the Broker website.

You will review your Charter Agreement and travel documents for accuracy upon receipt. You understand that it is your responsibility to review the accuracy of all details in the Charter Reservation provided to you, and that you may contact Broker if you have any questions.

You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s).

You understand that Broker recommends purchasing travel insurance to cover certain risks inherent in travel such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or personal emergency.

• No Warranties . All Charters, products, services, advice and information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied to the fullest extent permitted under the law, including but not limited to, warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting the above, no warranty or guarantee is made (i) regarding the acceptance of any reservation request or Charter Reservation; (ii) regarding the availability of Charters, or any other product and/or services through Broker; (iii) that the use of Broker’s website will be error-free; or (iv) regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability or quality of any information, content, data, service, advice or merchandise provided by Broker or through Broker’s website.

Broker has no special knowledge regarding the Charter Provider’s or Charter Supplier’s financial condition, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel during or otherwise in connection with your Charter.

• Limitation on Liability . In no event shall Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, and/or their respective affiliates, or any employees, agents, officers, directors, members or managers of any of the foregoing (“Broker and Charter Releasees”), be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use the Broker’s website, the Charter or services provided to you in connection with the Charter (including, but not limited to, your reliance upon opinions of the Broker), whether based on a theory of negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, consumer protection statutes, or otherwise, and even if Broker and/or any other of the Broker and Charter Releasees have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If, despite the limitation above, Broker or the Broker and Charter Releasees are found liable for any loss or damage which arises out of or in any way connected with any of the occurrences described above, then Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Supplier and the Broker and Charter Releasees will in no event exceed, in the aggregate, the greater of (a) the Broker Fee, and (b) One-Hundred Dollars (US $100.00).

The foregoing limitation of liability reflects the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these Terms is found to have failed of its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these Terms inure to the benefit of Broker and/or its providers.

The foregoing does not affect any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

• Limitation on Time to File Claims . ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF RELATING TO BROKER’S SERVICES OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES, OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
• Waiver . No waiver by Broker of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Broker to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• Severability . If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
• Governing Law and Mandatory Venue . The laws of the State of Florida govern the rights and obligations of the parties to this Agreement and the interpretation, construction and enforceability thereof. You agree that any action or proceeding initiated by Charterer against Broker shall be brought solely in the federal and state courts of Hillsborough County, Florida, and you submit to the jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objections to the exercise of personal jurisdiction over you by those courts. In the event any action or proceeding is initiated by Charterer in a court outside of Hillsborough County, Florida, Charterer agrees to pay Broker’s costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees associated with defending such action or proceeding and waives any and all defenses to the transfer of said action or proceeding, whether jurisdictional or otherwise, to a federal or state court in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Tahiti: Favorite Charter Yet!

Tahiti is incredible and seeing it by boat will leave you feeling bad for everyone stuck at a resort! This was our third charter with Dream Yacht and we enjoyed an excellent experience during booking, check-in and check-out. The base staff in Raiatea are welcoming, informative and genuinely hustle to get you off the dock. We can't wait to return and explore more of French Polynesia!

10 days on a Bali 4.6 out of Raiatea. Great trip. Loved it. Normally have gone with Moorings/Sunsail, but as of late their prices have gotten excessive so been trying out DYC. This was my second trip with them (first in La Paz) and already booked a trip for 2025 in Greece with DYC because of great experiences. I generally try and go on their Super Premier or Premier boats to reduce chance of age related issues. Specific to Raiatea, French Polynesia - awesome charter. Want to go back! Great folks.

Unforgetable experience in Sardinia

Had an excellent experience since the booking process until the end of the charter. Everything worked well with the boat and skipper. The team was very professional and efficient. That was our first experience abroad and we intend to repeat.

Fabulous family vacation to Tahiti

We had a great family trip to Tahiti ( 6 adults 3 older children) , chartered a 6 cabin catamaran with Captain and Cook. Our Captain was amazing. She asked where we wanted to go, gave suggestions, and then we proceeded to have an amazing week. She took us to some amazing snorkeling spots (black tip sharks, sting rays, beautiful fish) , botanical garden, vanilla plantation, rum distillery and a pearl farm. She was always first and foremost concerned with our safety and comfort. Food was good and plentiful. Catamaran clean and comfortable. We have been on more elegant catamarans but all the above more than made up the difference. My only criticism for Dream Yacht Charter is that they post actual photos of their catamarans on their website. We would not hesitate to book with them in the future. BTW our Captain was Hemanu and Cook Daisy.

Great base, great customer service, proffesional and friendly staff, and most importantly - boats are really well maintained.

We had two great experiences with DYC.

We chartered twice with DYC in Raiatea, French Polynesia. We had a great experience both times. We booked directly with DYC, and not through a third party. Both times they delivered. Also, their insurance policy is great. You can sail more or less wherever your want if you are competent. And they will encourage and help! Dream on in the US or EU! When I read all of the bitter posts, I roll my eyes and think that the usual CYA US attitude is going to destroy the whole industry and then nobody can sail in paradise. At least we still could.

The Dubrovnik base was a great location…

The Dubrovnik base was a great location to start our sailing experience. The DYC team got us out on time as promised and the yacht was as expected. Nothing was missing and the vessel was in great shape! Croatia is the most beautiful place to experience and the many islands we stopped in were a lot of fun and the anchorage’s and moorings were amazing [Hvar, Mljet, Lostovo, and Pelisaic]. Unsafe yacht

I chartered a 52 ft yacht in Antigua and it was unfit for purpose and potentially dangerous. There was an extensive list of faults which ruined our holiday, including a windlass that did not operate, an anchor that did not swivel, reefing lines jammed in the boom and hazardous swim ladder. The yacht also lacked basic appliances, had a hole in the kettle and missing fire extinguishers. This is an accident waiting to happen. I could go on… Dream yachts refused to even acknowledge my emails and sent no apologies. Avoid them at all cost.

Sailing in Palma Mallorca was great. We will go back

Sailing in Palma Mallorca was an absolute delight! The base manager was top-notch, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The dock manager's skill and diligence were evident, making the experience even more enjoyable. The location itself was picturesque and offered the perfect backdrop for a fantastic time on the water. I had an amazing experience overall and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable sailing adventure.

DYC makes it really easy to charter

DYC makes it really easy to charter a bareboat sailing vacation. Having done a dozen trips with the competition in BVI, Bahamas, Greece, Italy, etc I feel more confident in Dream's ability to get you on a high quality boat on time and in good condition. When they missed the boat (pun intended) in one situation, they were also gracious about admitting fault and offering a credit to future trips. I especially want to call out Savannah Collins on the American sales team who was a joy to work with over the phone. Thanks for everything Savannah!

Unfortunately disappointing (Abacos)

Unfortunately our 3rd tour with DYC was disappointing. The captain was disinterested, rude and barely present. The Abacos are still worth seeing - with a different crew. Despite our feedback, Dream Yacht Charter didn't get in touch. Bad customer service for us. We sailed the last time. Well, we hardly sailed.

No Dream in Dream yacht Charter

This was my worst vacation. We bare boated and the boat broke down, for 5 days we were stuck in a marina, while the boat was repaired and DYC has refused to do anything. these additional costs, we didn't plan for, and we lost a huge part of our vacation. before you book with them, try getting a hold of the base in the Bahamas, or a supervisor or someone who deals with complaints or refunds. Aside from sales/customer service (booking) you wont get past the iron curtain!

Horrendous Experience - Took ALL our money and no holiday

Horrendous Experience Dream Yacht Charters cancelled our holiday before the departure date due to Covid—19 lockdown in UK & Greece BUT then refused to return a single penny We lost the entire amount we paid - 100% of the holiday price They just ripped us off They are NOT ABTA either Do NOT use them under any circumstances

Dodging any issues.

We lost one day of our charter due to our freshwater being pumped into the starboard engine bilge whose bilge pump was not working and consequently filled up with water , at one point we thought we were sinking ! We returned to base as we had no water and no way of keeping it in the tanks even if we could have refilled. In another incedent in a torrential downpour a fixed cabin window leaked and destroyed my laptop. The reply from DYC main office was less than helpful. The laptop destruction was our fault as we put it in the wrong place and the lost day was ignored. Be very carefull when dealing with the main office they seem only to want to dodge any issues which involve any sort of refund.

Cabin charter in Corsica South cancelled with no explanation

Booked and paid last May a cruise (cabin charter) in Corsica South for the w/c Aug 7 (2 cabins); two weeks before the start of the vacation (overall 2 weeks with trips to Paris and Bordeaux already booked), my cruise was cancelled for "overbooking". Despite several attempts to get an explanation, an excuse or a counteroffer, no one from both DYC Italy nor DYC.com replied so far (after a month). I'm very very disappointed for this, especially because I was a DYC client since years (5 cruises so far). While I want to thank Mondovela, the Italian DYC agency, for providing me with a backup solution in Sardinia, saving at least partially my summer holidays. P.N.

Very bad experience chapter 2

After having the bad experience described in my post of 04/11/2022 (see below Title "Very bad experience") Dream Yacht Charter asked me filling the form bit.lydreamyacht I filled in the form on 20/11/2022 but I never got a reply... If no compensation is soon accepted, after discussion with a lawyer, I plan a legal action. The complaint will be located in France. I also propose sharing the practical information (submit of a complaint to the court, steps...) for French customers wishing running a legal complaint. References of my contract Booking First 30 in La Rochelle (France) Contract 889258548 sailing trip cancelled April 2022 .

RUN away from DYC

Run, do not walk, away from these people. "Dream" Yacht Charter should be "Nightmare" Yacht Charter. We had the misfortune to give them a deposit for a charter in Tahiti before Covid hit. While other travel industry companies tried to be reasonable, DYC continually tried to squeeze us (like initially demanding full payment far in advance of our charter that never happened.) I understand Covid was hard for everyone, but the way these people jerked us around, changed the rules, made unreasonable demands, is just too much. Eventually my group decided we would rather lose our deposit rather than give these people another dollar of our money. You have been warned.

First experience with DYW and first…

First experience with DYW and first time with DY Croatia. Preparation and briefing with the service team in US was so thorough that when I got to Dubrovnik ACI Marina everything run smoothly. No hidden costs, everything very transparent. We took a skipper who happened to be top notch, a local celebrity. Trip was excellent in all respects but we had little wind and we had to motor most of the time: next time I will make sure we reserve minimum guaranteed winds of 15 knots LOL

Sailboat Chartered in Tortola in Horrible Condition

The captain was great but the boat was in total disrepair. The generator never worked, the toilet either did not work or worked poorly, the furniture down below was taped together with yellow tape, the ladder was dangerous etc. For all the money we spent to rent this boat we should be treated better

Great charter with Dream Yacht in St John

Had a great bareboat charter sailing around St John out of St Thomas with Dream Yacht Charter in a brand new Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40. Thanks to Dawn Fingers and the rest of the team for helping to accommodate our last minute booking. Highlights were Zozo’s at Caneel Bay and Cruz Bay. We’ve booked bareboat charter with Dream Yacht a number of times in the past and have they seem to be the best outfit in terms of boat maintenance and professionalism.

A superyacht captain shares 3 things people who want to charter a luxury vessel should know

• Vacationing on a superyacht may sound like it's all Champagne and sunbathing.
• But before boarding a luxury vessel, superyacht captain Kelly Gordon advises keeping certain things in mind.
• Yachting is a summer pastime with risks and nuances for clients and crew.

One of these images is likely what comes to mind when you hear the word "superyacht," a phrase generally used to describe a yacht over 80 feet in length.

While ultra-luxurious vessels are associated with all things carefree, tragic events such as the sinking of the Bayesian superyacht off the coast of Sicily on Monday is a reminder that yachting is a pastime with unique risks and nuances. It's unclear what the protocols were on the Bayesian.

For those keen on the idea of chartering a superyacht, captain Kelly Gordon, 42, told Business Insider there are a number of important factors to consider before hopping on board.

Gordon fell in love with yachting after she stepped aboard a yacht for the first time in her mid-20s.

Hellbent on reaching captain level, Gordon quickly worked her way up the chain of command. She's spent most of her time sailing the Bahamas and the Caribbean and is now based in Florida, where she works as a captain on a 108-foot-long privately owned vessel.

Gordon, who has over 12,600 followers on Instagram , shares three factors to keep in mind before boarding a chartered superyacht.

Think of the process of chartering a superyacht as buying a house

One of the most important things to do when chartering a superyacht is to work with a charter broker, Gordon says.

"The charter manager's job is to No. 1: find you a safe boat," Gordon said, adding that in her experience, "Not all programs put safety as high up on the list as it should be."

She also likes to equate charter brokers to Realtors in that they take on the role of finding you the best option for your taste.

"You find one that you gel with really well and has a good reputation, and then you discuss with them what your budget is, where you want to go, what your activity levels are, what your personalities are like," Gordon said.

Pairing clients with a crew that aligns with their characteristics is a huge part of a charter broker's job, Gordon said.

"If you think about it, you're living with that crew for 24/7, around the clock," she said. "You're not going put someone that just wants to sit and read books all day with a crew that's extremely active."

Find a crew that is competent and prioritizes safety

Charter brokers also help match clients with a competent crew that prioritizes safety.

"I don't know that many people realize just how much their life is in our hands when we cast those lines and we go to sea," Gordon said.

Part of that is having a safety briefing, which Gordon carries out every time she welcomes clients onto a chartered vessel before leaving a dock.

A thorough safety briefing includes informing clients about the location of safety equipment and lifejackets and the procedures for events such as a fire, a person falling overboard, or the boat sinking.

"You should have a safety briefing, and if you don't get one, you should ask for one," Gordon said.

The process, she added, can be different on privately owned yachts, where passengers may be familiar with the vessel.

The Bayesian is a private yacht owned by tech tycoon Mike Lynch; it's not yet known what kind of safety protocols staff and guests were trained on.

Make sure there's a member of the crew on watch 24/7

"A lot of charter guests think when they go to sleep, the crew goes to sleep," Gordon said.

But that shouldn't be the case, she added. "You want to be on a boat knowing that someone's up, because if the weather changes or the anchor starts to drag, you need somebody that's up and ready to go and get everybody else to handle it."

Among the biggest weather risks are tornados, which can be extremely difficult to predict and prepare for whether you're on land or at sea.

"I'm from the Midwest, where tornados pop up," Gordon said. "It's hard to see a tornado coming, and if you do see it coming, the tornado goes where it wants to go."

Most often, that leaves people near the weather event with just minutes to ready themselves, which is even trickier "in the middle of the night."

While rapid changes in weather are tough to contend with, Gordon recommends researching the areas you are sailing in beforehand, like you would when visiting a new country.

"It's no different than if you're going on vacation on land," she said. "You want to know where you're going. Don't put that just all on the crew."

While the research doesn't have to be as extensive as the crew should be doing, it's important to still be "responsible for your own self as well as your family and your guests."
