Typical dive bar. Service was good. The bartender was very talkative. They have pool and darts available. There's a great variety of liquor and beer. They have a great cocktail menu. No food so don't let the name fool you.

Decent dive bar! No smoking inside which kept if feeling fresher than most.. Friendly bartender.. Relatively cheap drinks.. couple pool tables/darts/loud jukebox, etc. There aren't many places around Alexandria to hang late night so for what was available, this isn't a bad stop. I'd go back.

Go here in the afternoon on a Saturday if you like non bartender types who are left to wander behind the bar dropping "n words" frequently

Chill dive bar atmosphere with a couple pool tables. A good place to visit with friends and have a couple drinks. Only one negative thing is on my last visit I asked for a mixed drink and was asked if I had a preference on the liquor. I said no with the assumption that I would be getting well liquor. The bartender took the liberty of choosing a name brand liquor for me. Never have I been to a bar that "no preference" means "choose for me" and not well liquor. I didn't want to cause an issue so I just went ahead and paid the 2 or so dollar difference. I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because that just feels kind of underhanded. I'll be more careful in the future when ordering drinks here.

Super Awesome Little Bar!! Went last Friday night for the first time and had a GREAT time!!! Had a super great DJ, he kept it upbeat and played everything we requested!!! Will definitely be back this Friday!!

On Saturday , May 13 , 2023 , at 02:10 A .M. the Alexandria Police Department was dispatched to 1303 Windsor Street, Bayview Yacht Club in reference to several gunshots being fired. When officers arrived, it was learned that a 17-year-old victim had been hit by the gunfire and sustained non-life-threatening injuries . The victim was treated at a local hospital. The initial investigation yielded two arrests. Further charges and arrests are pending.

Jaheim Johnson 21-year-old of Alexandria LA was arrested and charged with one count of Illegal Use of a Weapon or Dangerous Instrumentalities.

Arcadious Jackson 23-year-old from Alexandria LA was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of CDS I.

There were a total of five guns seized by the Alexandria Police Department in connection with this case.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.

One hurt, two arrested in shooting at Bayview Yacht Club

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Alexandria Police Department announced that one person was shot and two people were arrested after a shooting in the early morning of Saturday, May 13, at the Bayview Yacht Club.

APD said officers responded to the Bayview around 2:10 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. When officers arrived on the scene they learned that a 17-year-old had been shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Jaheim Johnson, 21, of Alexandria was arrested and faces one count of illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentalities. Arcadious Jackson, 23, of Alexandria was also arrested and faces one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of CDS 1.

APD said a total of five guns were seized during the initial investigation, and further charges and arrests are pending.
