In 2016 Graeme Hart took delivery of 107.4-metre Andromeda (then known as Ulysses), a hardy, go-anywhere explorer capable of carrying a 21-metre multihull in the foredeck. Eight years on and now under new ownership, Hart's vision lives on - albeit with a change of hull colour and new faring.

Ulysses can be described as a game changer in the field of super explorer yachts, setting a new standard in what is possible when the commercial and luxury yachting worlds meet. Only time will tell how this 107-metre floating city can be improved when Ulysses' bigger 116-metre sister finally sets sail next year.

Kleven has also built his new vessel: a 116m explorer yacht, also named Ulysses. The new 100m explorer will be built in a similar way, with Kleven building the hull in Norway, while Lurssen will be outfitting the interiors at the Blohm+Voss facility in Hamburg, Germany. No other details about the new explorer yacht are public at this moment.

Builder/Designer: Marin Teknikk AS, Kleven. Locations: EUROPE. At the top of ANDROMEDA is the bridge deck, which is equipped with a Helipad and observation deck. Motor yacht ANDROMEDA has retractable zero speed stabilizers and uses twin Caterpillar 2,230hp diesel engines to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

Kleven, has, though, along with the naval architect, Marin Teknikk, revealed that Ulysses will carry a 69-foot (21-meter) tender on her bow. Given her draft of 16'4" (5 meters), her tender will surely be used to take guests to and from anchorages as much as, if not more than, Ulysses will pull into marinas.
