Our chef will work with you to create the perfect menu for your event. Or, if you prefer outside catering, our event team will work with you to select the best options the San Francisco Bay area has to offer.
We work with you to pick the best date and time for your cruise to catch the perfect sunrise, sunset, full moon, or peak hours for watching wildlife. We recommend booking your charter at least six weeks in advance.
Whether you're celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, Memorial or other special event, we would be happy to help with ideas to decorate including banners, table settings, floral arrangements, favors, and more.
We do have a full tended bar on board, let us know your beverage of choice, we would be happy to have the ingredients available on board for your cruise! For our non-alcoholic selections, we offer juices, classic sodas, bottled water and mocktails.
Just Dreaming Yacht Charters is conveniently located at Pier 40, right next to AT&T park in San Francisco. Passengers often take Cal Train, Muni or BART right to us. There is plenty of parking within walking distance. Famous landmarks you may see on your charter include:

About Just Dreaming Yacht
Just Dreaming was originally commissioned in 1963 by master shipbuilders, Stephen Brothers of Stockton, California. Just Dreaming Yacht provides an elegant, luxurious setting for your event. Her wooden hull and classic lines are beautiful. Her smooth and comfortable ride gives you and your party a chance to relax. With a complete renovation in 2002, she has modern amenities and is gorgeous inside and out. The modernized galley and bathrooms have been redone as well as the sound system.
Just Dreaming Yacht is perfect for day trips or overnight excursions to the outer limits of the San Francisco Bay and Delta waterways. Her tastefully appointed interior features:

Book A Private Charter
Our luxury yachts are the perfect venue for your next party! Treat your guests to a spectacular sail around the San Francisco waterfront with beer and wine.
We can certainly accommodate your event. While our boats are coast guard licensed for 34 passengers, we are limiting to groups of 24 or less for comfort and class.
We are also limiting to 4 hours sail time. Luckily for us we are only 1 mile from Alcatraz and we can easily still hit all the best spots in the bay even in 90 minutes of sailing.
That makes 4 options for private charters:
90 min, 2 hour, 3 hour and 4hour sails. The rate for a boat for up to 24passengers(we have 3 identical ones) is $700/hr with a 15% gratuity.
1.5hr x $700 =$1,200+ 15% gratuity= $1,207
2 hr x $700 = $1,400 + 15% gratuity= $1,610
3hr x $700 = $2,100 + 15% gratuity= $2,415
4hr x $700 = $2,800 + 15% gratuity = $3,220
We have a catering menu available or there is a small ($150) corkage fee for self-catered/bar events. We can do a cash/open bar on-board as well.
The price listed includes the boat rental, ice and ice chests, cups, captain and crew to help set up and clean up as well as a customary gratuity. We also have a Bluetooth speaker on board, you are welcome to bring your own massive system if you want as well.
Private charter deposits of 50% is due to reserve charter time and date. Balance is due 10 days prior to charter date. Increased guest count charges due at time of guest count change. Guranteed guests count due 10 days prior to charter date. Cancellations subject to a 20% cancellation fee after boat reservation has been confirmed. Cancellation fee within 14 days equals deposit abount. Cancellations within 7 days, no refund. FORMS OF PAYMENT: Credit Card, Wire, Venmo

Make your own splash hit by chartering one of our luxury yachts to explore the Bay. Conveniently located steps from Oracle Park, our Giants Maritime fleet offers unforgettable on-water experiences. From intimate game day or celebratory outings aboard the luxurious California Spirit to private dining experiences or sunset charters, guests cruise in style around San Francisco Bay. In accordance with San Francisco city guidelines, we are currently booking charters for up to 50 guests and look forward to expanding our guest capacity in the near future as guidelines allow.
As we look ahead to the future of events and hospitality aboard our vessels, we have implemented full-scale enhancements to our already stringent Health & Safety procedures . These new practices include widespread sanitization, contactless transaction systems, distancing policies and modified dining practices. In accordance with San Francisco city guidelines, we are currently booking charters for up to 25 guests and look forward to expanding our guest capacity in the near future as guidelines allow.

Safety Requirements:
Boating License/Education Rules : You must be 16 years of age or older and in possession of his/her California Boater Card to legally operate a vessel powered by a motor of 15 hp or more, including personal watercraft (PWCs).
Persons 12 to 15 years of age may operate a vessel powered by a motor of 15 hp or more, including PWCs, if they are supervised on board by a person at least 18 years of age and in possession of his/her California Boater Card.
There is no age restriction for operating a sailboat under 30 ft. long (with wind as the main source of propulsion) or a dinghy used between a moored vessel and shore or between two moored vessels.
Life Jacket Requirements : Ages 13 and under must wear a PFD at all times on a moving vessel of any length. Children are not required to wear a life jacket when they are wearing a harness on a sailboat, when they are in an enclosed cabin, and when they are on a vessel during an emergency rescue.
