The Pershing 108’ yacht : this superyacht has versatility and forefront technology for the first three-engine model produced by Pershing Ready to sail the seas all over the world, the new Pershing luxury yacht is versatile, powerful and elegant, not to mention its environmental impact. The Pershing 108’, the latest of Pershing yacht, is a Ferretti Group brand which is among the leading manufacturers of high performance open motor yachts from 15 to 35 metres, was created from the established collaboration of the yacht Designer Fulvio De Simoni, the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) of the Ferretti Group and the team of architects and designers of the Centro Stile Ferretti group, and has a versatile layout and on-board innovative technology, which make it a model ahead of time.

In the DNA of the Pershing 108 luxury yacht lies the concept of personalization that combines well with the sinuous lines and recognizable features that distinguish all the Pershing fleet yachts: super-structured windows matching the shipyard’s philosophy, aggressive profile, wide lateral windows and, of course, unparalleled performance.

A cutting-edge ship, not only because of its layout and the on-board technology, but also for it motorization, which for the first time is split into 3, with the objective of ensuring high performance while being considerate to the environment. In fact the standard version of Pershing 108’ has three MTU 16v 2000 M 94 L diesel of 2638 mHp (1939 kW) and reaches a maximum speed of over 42 knots thanks to the three surface propellers.

The boat possesses high movement ranges, exceeding 1000 miles at 10 knots, with extremely low fuel consumption even at those speeds. When only the central engine is functioning, the boat can move at low speed with great silence and one would hardly notice that it is on. In the case of a light load, the boat can glide with only 2 engines and reach a significant speed, which is a very useful feature if there is a momentary failure. Generally, high levels of comfort have been measured, which translated in DbA represents a new benchmark for this category of boats.

The standard layout of Pershing 108 yacht, 32.90 m long, has 4 guest cabins and 3 crew cabins, providing the client with the possibility to choose from the among the various internal layouts, with the aim of offering spaces that are more versatile and personalized. The owner and the guests become the real protagonists, thanks to a radically innovative layout, capable of offering spaces that diversify according to the situation.

With this in mind, the first hull of P108’ has a completely personalized under deck layout including a spacious VIP cabin at the bow, a guest cabin, a TV or family room and a full beam master cabin amidships.

The elegance of the interiors has been attended to in detail by exceptional established partners such as Poltrona Frau and ErnestoMeda, besides the stylistic prestigious innovations desired by the ship owner who preferred solutions designed by Fendi Club House and Armani Casa.

On the wide sun deck at bow there is a C-shaped sofa and a table that can be lowered to seating level, in order to have a single sun deck level protected by a retractable bimini shade. The incredibly spacious sun deck has a retractable steering console, a large C-shaped sofa with a table that can be lowered to seating level and four folding chaise longue that turn into comfortable ergonomic seats, making this an independent and functional area that can be best enjoyed in moments of relaxation on board. The large cockpit can be used both during the day and in the evening. A spacious covered area, equipped with a sofa and a table that can host up to 10 people, with an elegant crystal top with a steel base, as well as 5 modern chairs designed by B&B Italia.

The interior design of the Pershing 108 yacht is characterized by the use of the frisè sycamore maple often combined with black Fendi leather that pleasantly creates a contrast of colour with the pearl grey carpeting and the decorative lamps, all designed by Armani Casa. However, the key element is the natural light in the architecture of the hall, coming through the wide opening of the lateral windows and the exclusive in-built transom door. The latter is made of two independent sections with electro-hydraulic movements that can slide down towards the floor to create a single space of over 70 square metres.

Upon entering the hall, towards the aft we find a dining table with a black python leather top and a large sofa, both custom made by Fendi Club House, facing a cabinet containing a 52” TV, an elegant coffee table and two honey-coloured leather ottomans.

The bridge consists of three comfortable adjustable central pilot seats produced in collaboration with Poltrona Frau. The steering console was designed with the latest navigation and communication technology, such as the Furuno system.

The area below deck of the Pershing 108 superyacht can be accessed via a wide and comfortable staircase leading down to the pilot seats and a refined and elegant environment embellished with the Poltrona Frau leather that enriches the bed frames, furniture tops and wall TVs, giving the environment a very cozy and sophisticated style. The master cabin was completely personalized and the Fendi Casa leather was used here as well.

In the bow, the spacious and perfectly square VIP cabin offers wide and livable living space, equipped with a small cabin and high degrees of comfort.

The guest cabin, with twin beds and en suite bathroom, is a great step forwards in terms of on board versatility. In fact, the beds were designed to flank so as to form a king size bed or to be used as two single beds. Instead of the guest cabin on the right, as in the standard layout of the P108’, there is a more user-friendly TV room, also known as the family room, with a large practical convertible sofa bed, customized with the fabric of the new Armani Casa collection and placed facing the large TV screen.

The key feature of the master cabin on the Pershing 108 yacht is the suggestiveness of the natural light coming from the large lateral windows. The play of light and the colours are emphasized by the black Fendi leather that embellishes furniture tops, the headboard and the canopy. To complete this area there is another sofa bed with Armani Casa textiles, designed by Milano Bedding. Moreover, in the suite there is a large wardrobe, a very modern fully-equipped business area and a fridge-bar. A very spacious bathroom that is refined up to the smallest detail completes the area dedicated to the ship owner: taps by Antonio Lupi, mosaics by Sicis, and accessories designed by Gessi.

At the stern, accessible from inside as well as from the outside of the boat, is an area that has been equipped to accommodate the crew. It is made up of three cabins with bathrooms, a laundry room and a dinette combined with the kitchen.

Pershing 108’ open style yacht offers a creative solution also in another part of the layout as it has a kitchen in the passage way of the lower deck, a space combined with the dinette which gives importance to the central and convivial role of the preparation area. The collaboration with Ernestomeda has made it possible to build a unit with great characteristics, with the base and the wall units of the Polished Glass version of the Elektra model with an aluminum frame and a Less Marine® handle, all in black.

The structures are all made of aluminum, so as to be resistant to external agents and free from harmful emissions, as well as being much lighter. Moreover, the “Nuvola Stripe” hanging hood, retrieves space and guarantees greater suction. Finally, the innovative push-button locking system, in-built in the Less Marine® handle, on the thickness of the door, designed and patented by Ernestomeda, prevents the inadvertent opening of the doors no matter what the sea is like and at any speed.

A large aft hangar with a folding bridge allows for the stowing of a 5m tender. Pershing 108’ superyacht has a second hangar that can contain water toys as well as their davit launch.

To fully understand and appreciate the extraordinary innovative power of this futuristic 108-foot yacht, it is helpful to understand how Pershing defines “performance”: “Speed, comfort, and fuel efficiency.” Thus, the innovation in design represented by three engines satisfies not only the need for power, but also those for living space and fuel efficiency. Not only do three engines reduce weight and make maintenance easier, but they also make it possible to make transfers using only the middle engine, with imperceptible noise and an extraordinary range of over 1,070 nautical miles at 10 knots. The cruising speed increases to 42 knots when all three engines are operating at full capacity, from 23 knots when two engines are used (still accompanied by a delightful silence of between 69 and 75 dBA). The spaciousness and livability afforded to the yacht owner and his or her guests is another advantageous feature of the Pershing 108. Comparable in volume to a 115-foot yacht (510 cubic metres versus the 535 cubic metres of a 115). Clearly, livability has everything to gain from this additional space. When the stern folding door is opened, a 70-square-meter space is created that leads to the spacious cockpit. The large windows that adorn the lower deck’s illumination are an additional feature of significance. The Pershing 108 is a one-of-a-kind, incomparable work of art due to the customizability of its interiors: colors, furnishings, and designer pieces. The standard layout, which consists of four guest cabins and three crew cabins, can also be modified. As with all Pershing vessels, the onboard technology is cutting-edge.

FERRETTI GROUP CONTINUES ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE LEADING EUROPEAN BOAT SHOWS: TWO ABSOLUTE PREMIERES FOR THE RUSSIAN MARKET WILL BE IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT MOSCOW BOAT SHOW, WHICH ALSO MARKS THE RENEWAL OF THE GROUP’S DEALERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH ITS PARTNER PREMIUM YACHTS - From 12 to 17 March 2013 Ferretti 530 and Riva Iseo – two of the brand’s most successful models – will be in the spotlight at Moscow Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre,confirming the strategic role the Russian market plays for the Group; - As officially announced during today’s press conference, the exclusive agreement with the dealer Premium Yachts for the sale of Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line yachts in the Russian Federation has been renewed; - This marks a new significant step forward in the international growth of the Ferretti Group, which can already rely on an international network of approximately 60 dealers, allowing it to be present in over 80 countries, and to offer its Customer the best possible technical assistance in marinas all over the globe; - Russian journalists and yachting enthusiasts were introduced to all the main new products launched by the Ferretti Group over the last few months: Ferretti 870, Ferretti 690 and Ferretti 960; Pershing 82’ and Pershing 108’ New Edition; Riva 63’ Virtus and Riva 122’ Mythos; the whole Itama, Bertram and Mochi Craft ranges; and the latest CRN superyachts. Moscow, 12 March 2013 – The Ferretti Group, one of the world leading players in the design, construction and sale of motor yachts, with a unique portfolio of eight of the most exclusive and prestigious brands, is pleased to announce its presence at Moscow Boat Show 2013. From 12 to 17 March, two of the Group fleet’s most successful yachts are going to be presented as absolute premieres for the Russian market: the Ferretti 530, representing Ferretti Yachts, and the 27-footer Iseo by Riva. This year’s Moscow Boat Show will also offer the Ferretti Group the opportunity to announce all yachting enthusiasts in Russia and Northern Eurasia a new important achievement in its international growth: the renewal of its exclusive dealership agreement for the Russian Federation with its partner Premium Yachts, one of the leading dealers operating in the boating sector in Russia, which will represent the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva e Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line brands. The agreement – which was officially announced today during a press conference attended, among others, by Ferruccio Rossi (Ferretti Group’s CEO), Alexey Kurochkin (Premium Yachts’s President), and Stefano Campanelli (Sales Manager for the EMEA area for Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line) – is part of Ferretti Group’s strategy for a further expansion on the European markets offering the best short/medium-term growth perspectives, also thanks to the financial soundness regained following the strategic partnership forged with the Weichai Group. More specifically, the Russian boating market holds a great potential for the Ferretti Group’s development because of the rapid growth of average wealth among the population and an increasing interest for Made in Italy luxury goods, like Ferretti Group yachts. Through the renewal of the agreement with Premium Yachts, the Group will further strengthen its highly selected distribution network – which currently includes approximately 60 dealers ensuring the best possible customer care in more than 80 countries worldwide – as well as its presence in the traditional EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) area, one of the three macro-regions (besides the America and the Asia-Pacific) into which the Group’s sales structure is divided. Moreover, in a medium/long-term perspective, the Ferretti Group is expecting an increasing interest on the Russian market not only for flying bridge yachts above 70’ in length, but also towards smaller crafts, both flybridge and open/coupé ones, which are particularly suitable for river cruising or pleasure boating in Russia’s large lakes. Consequently, the renewal of the dealership agreement with Premium Yachts also allows to look ahead at the future aiming to conquer new market segments where less competitors are currently present in terms of both products and geographic location. The press conference, which was held today at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow, had also the objective of introducing attending journalists and yachting enthusiasts to the main new products launched by the Ferretti Group over the last few months, namely: Ferretti 870, Ferretti 690, and the project of the new flagship Ferretti 960 for the Ferretti Yachts brand; Pershing 82’ and Pershing 108’ New Edition for Pershing; Riva 63’ Virtus and the project of the new Riva flagship, 122’ Mythos, as well as the entire range of the Itama, Bertram and Mochi Craft brands. The yachts launched over the last few months by CRN – the Group’s brand specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium yachts between 40 and 90 metres - were also presented during the conference: the two superyachts M/Y CRN Jade (60 metres long) and M/Y CRN Chopi Chopi (80 metres long), the latter being one of the largest pleasure vessels ever built in Italy and the largest one ever built by the Ancona-based shipyard. “The renewal of our dealership agreement with an important partner like Premium Yachts – which has worked on the Russian market for almost 10 years and can boast an outstanding product knowledge and an excellent local market penetration – and the presentation of the Group’s latest models are an integral part of our development strategy on the EMEA markets offering the best growth perspectives in the short-medium term” statedFerruccio Rossi, Ferretti Group’s CEO. THE TWO NEW MODELS PRESENTED AT MOSCOW BOAT SHOW 2013 FERRETTI 530 Ferretti 530 is a new, innovative model in the segment of flying bridge 50/60 footers allowing its owner to enjoy all-Italian luxury and cruise with a level of comfort that was so far unknown on yachts of this size. This increases market penetration at an international level among younger, more dynamic owners who don’t settle in terms of prestige, quality, comfort and performances. In particular, the Ferretti 530 stands out for its full-beam master cabin with chaise longue and two large open-view windows that make of it a true suite on the sea, as well as for the new layout – where the relocation of the galley from the centre of the boat to the stern results in one single open space including the salon, the galley/bar, the dining area, and the cockpit, without any interruption thanks to the up-and-over window. The outer profile – slender and aggressive – is characterised by the large windows offering a 360° view and letting plenty of light into the living room. The general sense of brightness is further enhanced by the warm-shade woods, which contribute to creating an elegant, classical atmosphere further enriched by a contemporary touch. RIVA ISEO Riva Iseo, a 27 foot runabout, is bound to become a real must-have for those who love cruising on both lakes and the sea, thanks to its beauty and the excellent manoeuvrability ensured by the stern drive. Thanks to its unmistakable design, this craft is ideal for anyone wishing to enhance their yacht with an exclusive water-jet propulsion tender that will never go unnoticed and will allow its owner to cruise even in very shallow waters. Because of its size and design solutions, ISEO is a yacht that the owner can really enjoy wherever they like. This is why this yacht comes with a custom-made car trailer allowing for easy transportation wherever the owner wishes to go. ISEO is the first yacht of its kind equipped with infotainment and GPS cartography systems based on the iPad Apple platform. The software – specifically developed for Riva – includes several interesting functions, such as the possibility to browse through the owner’s manual, display weather forecasts, watch live stream TV and listen to live stream radio or one’s playlists always enjoying an outstanding sound quality – all from the iPad connected to the onboard Hi-Fi system via Bluetooth.
