Michael Barr takes Race 1 and the Trophy

Pewuakee Yacht club hosted the C scow invitational this past weekend. The race committee did their very best with the tools at hand, but unfortunately there wasn't enough wind for multiple races. The sailors managed to get in one solid race, in which Michael Barr and Riley Schmidt sailing the B-66 showed out and took 1st place.

2nd place was taken by Louis Morgan and Zoe Morgan sailing the OO-8, followed in 3rd by Charlie Kutschenreuter and Papa Kutsch sailing the B-16.

Past ILYA Commodore Stephen Schmidt with his son John placed fourth sailing the E-88, and Kate Haeger and her father Robert Klement finished 5th sailing the B-111.

The highlight of the weekend couldn’t make up for the lack of wind, but the rib night dinner did its very best with the delicious barbecue cooked by the PYC dinner crew. All this great food was washed down with many of the famous "specials" at the yacht club. Pretty safe to say that the bar should restock on Mt. Gay after this weekend. Great turnout by the fleet with 52 boats, looking forward to seeing all the competitors at Clear Lake Yacht Club in 3 weeks!

Wisconsin MC Sailors… Pewaukee Yacht Club MC Fleet 38 is excited to host the 2024 MC Wisconsin Championship Regatta, June 22 & 23.

Friday-June 21st 5pm-8pm Boat Setup, Launching & Registration, PYC Bar will be open

Saturday-June 22nd 0730 -0900 Boat Setup & Registration 0800 Continental Breakfast 0930 Competitors Briefing 1030 Warning Signal 1st Race -weather permitting 2nd race to follow 1pm (approx.) Lunch TBD Warning Signal 3rd Race 5:30pm – 10:00pm Cocktails 6:30pm – 8:00pm Dinner & event

Sunday-June 22nd 0730 Continental Breakfast 0930 Warning for the next Race, next Race to follow - weather permitting No warning signal after 1:00 pm. 1pm (approx.) Lunch & Awards after racing

Regatta Boat registration is $125 on or before June 1st or $150 if registered after June 1st.

Registration Count

• FCYC/SPCC visiting guests will be extended privileges to visit the Club a maximum of twice (2) month. Should an FCYC/SPCC member continue to request access to the facilities, they will be asked to join the Club.
• Access to the downtown clubhouse will be permitted based on space. No access will be permitted to the Pass-a-Grille Clubhouse.
• FCYC/SPCC are required to make reservations at our downtown location.
• FCYC/SPCC are permitted to make a dining reservation for a maximum of four (4) people at one table. Larger parties are at the discretion of St Petersburg Yacht Club.
• FCYC/SPCC members are permitted to use the Central Ave valet entrance if space permits. Self-parking will not be available.
• All reciprocal clubs will see an additional 5% service charge.
• Reciprocal members will be extended privileges to visit the Club a maximum of twice (2) annually. Should a reciprocal club member continue to request access to the facilities, they will be asked to join the Club.
• Dining reservations must be made in advance. We will do our best to accommodate a reciprocal member, however, will be unable to honor reservation requests made within forty-eight (48) hours.
• The Club will not honor walk-in reciprocal club members.
• Reciprocal club members are permitted to make a dining reservation for a maximum of four(4) people at one table. Larger parties are at the discretion of St Petersburg Yacht Club.
• Reciprocal member use for private event rooms in December and February will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We will yield to first accommodating our own member requests.
• Reciprocal Club members are permitted to use the Central Ave valet entrance if space permits. Self-parking will not be available.
