• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Abbazia della Cervara Built in 1361 by a local priest, Ottone Lanfranco, this abbey dedicated to St. Jerome. Named for the native woodlands that surround it, this enchanting abbey houses formal gardens, a 15th-century chapterhouse, a 16th-century cloister, and the Saracen Tower. It has been home to Benedictine monks, three popes, French king François I, and even a saint – St. Catherine of Siena.

Church of San Giorgio Overlooking the beautiful Bay of Portofino, the oval-shaped Church of San Giorgio has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times since it was first erected in 1154. Renting Without Captain

      Alternatively in some locations, currently only at our headquarters in Lake Maggiore (3 boats) , our boats can be rented without Captain (Boat License required unless renting our Banta 460 boat in Lake Maggiore). If you decide this option, your knowledge will be tested during the initial coaching, where you will be taught everything you need for a safe and fun day. You will need at this time to demonstrate confidence and the minimum skills needed for taking up the responsibility on driving a boat. There is a requirement to pay a security deposit for renting without a Captain, which varies between 400 EUR to 2500 EUR depending on the boat.

Often called the "pearl of the Riviera," Portofino has long been fashionable to call "pompous," and today it is a very chic port to visit on a luxury yacht. Initially, it was a “gas station” for the merchant sailors of Genoa, by the beginning of the 20th century it was a quiet, albeit very beautiful fishing village. To add to this mystery, Portofino has a mythical color in its history.

Pliny the Elder claimed that the Romans founded the city, calling it Portus Dolphini, or Port of the Dolphins, due to the large number of these frolic animals in the Tigullian Bay.

Discovered by German and British tourists in the 1920s, by the 1950s, tourism had crowded out fishing boats. Thus, Portofino became a favorite for Princess Grace, Richard Burton and Liz Taylor , whose other favorite island is Ischia, also Italian. Situated in stunning natural beauty, this city today is a chic marina and offers exclusive boutiques, fine dining restaurants and coastal cliffs teeming with pastel colored villas.

“Interior” of the city

You can start a yacht strictly in the tiny “central part” of Portofino Marina, or anchor, or find a mooring ball inside the harbor, or anchor right at the entrance to the harbor of the National Park. In any case, docking requires a reservation in advance, which is reflected in the price. This, however, is the best of traditional Italian fishing villages with facades painted in all shades of earthly Tuscan color.

Take a stroll through the small streets and enjoy gorgeous shopping. Maybe have tea or sit in the garden, for example, at the Chuflay restaurant in Belmond Splendido Mare in the harbor, or have a drink on the terrace at the Belmond Spendido located high above the harbor on a hillside . Enjoy your meal in a small restaurant or simply soak up the atmosphere and life of this little piece of paradise from the stern of your yacht.

Things to do in Portofino

• Shopping : in stores selling goods from Missoni, Dior, Prada, Hermes, Salvatore Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton, hidden along main streets and small side streets, you can find a pretty chic collection of fashion clothes.
• Walking : exit the main square on the south side of the harbor along the point of land protecting the harbor from the Ligurian Sea to see the Church of St. George, “Castello Brown” and at the end - the lighthouse. A walk along this land point offers stunning views of Portofino harbor and villas located on the opposite side of the harbor, and the Ligurian Sea on the other.
• Hiking : An extensive network of trails runs through the hillsides that are part of the surrounding Portofino Regional Park. There are also many coastal paths that run along the hillsides surrounding the harbor and outside the land facing the south side of the harbor. In addition to the trails, there are also small coastal winding roads that pass fabulous villas in the surrounding hills.
• “Belmond Hotel Splendido” and “Belmond Splendido Mare” : one 5-star hotel located above Portofino harbor, considered one of the best hotels in Europe, as well as a great cocktail destination with great views before sunset or 4-course dinner. The second is a port, with a wonderful restaurant “Chuflay”, in the garden, right by the harbor, great for drinking, tea, lunch or dinner.

This pearl of the small harbor is very sheltered and hidden in the surrounding slopes. Beautiful water is surrounded by the facades of old plastered and countless Tuscan buildings. Nice day snorkeling with my family of 6. The waters were calm And only 6 ft deep but the marine life was amazing. Even caught some lobster.

Great day fishing the flats. Caught Permit, Barracuda and huge Tarpon. Captain and boat were great and made for a great day!

Amazing trip deep sea fishing. We went about 20 miles offshore and found a weed patch were we caught tons of Mahi! Will do it again soon.
