Mastering Yachts in GTA Online – The Ultimate Guide

Why Own a Yacht?

First things first, why should you own a yacht in GTA Online? There are several reasons to invest in this luxurious vessel. Firstly, depending on your budget, your yacht might come with a helicopter, which can be called for a small cost. It also comes with some watercraft, such as jet skis and power boats. Additionally, there’s a bedroom for you to spawn in, which comes in handy if you have businesses near the southwestern coast or you want quicker access to the Los Santos airport. Another excellent benefit of owning a yacht is that it comes with an anti-griefer defense system, which gives you a safe haven. It also provides access to exclusive missions, which are designed for beginners and can be done solo. And of course, owning a yacht is a great way to show off your wealth and success in the game.

Which Yacht Should You Choose?

In GTA Online, there are three types of yachts to choose from: The Orion, The Pisces, and The Aquarius. The Orion is the cheapest at 6 million, the Pisces costs 7 million, and the Aquarius is the most expensive at 8 million. The Pisces, in our opinion, is the best deal as it comes with better watercraft and a better helicopter than the Orion. However, if you are a fan of jet skis and don’t mind the extra cost, The Aquarius is the way to go. Once you have decided which yacht to buy, you can customize it with aesthetic upgrades such as gold fittings, lighting, and a paint job. You can also choose your own flag and name for the yacht.

How to Buy a Yacht in GTA Online

To buy a yacht in GTA Online, you need to open your phone, head to the internet, then to vehicles and transportation. Click the “Galaxy Super Yacht” banner, pick your yacht, and set your options. Then click “Buy Now,” and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact. Once you get the notification, head back out to the free roam lobby to get another notification about your chopper (if your yacht comes with one).

What Can You Do With Your Yacht?

Besides having a helicopter, watercraft, and a bedroom, there are other things you can do with your yacht. For example, you can move the yacht around the coastline, though you can’t actually drive the yacht itself sadly. Additionally, you can call in your helicopter by going to contacts, toggling down to the captain, and requesting a helicopter. The yacht also comes with some defenses, but keep in mind that if someone swims to your yacht, the defense system won’t target them. Finally, you can start yacht missions, which can be a great way to earn money.

Yacht Missions

Yacht missions are missions that you can start once you have the yacht. There are six missions in total, and they can take between eight and twenty minutes each to complete. Additionally, the missions can typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each. However, keep in mind that it can take a while to break even, as you need to complete a minimum of 200 missions to break even with the cheapest yacht.

hi in this video we’re going through the luxury yacht in gta 5 online hi and welcome back my name’s dan and i’m an old grumpy gamer grand theft auto is a truly massive game between gta 5 and the concert updates from rockstar for gta online there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do join me then as we look at the luxury yachts in gta 5 online before we dive in if you’re new to the channel we do how-to guides news and giveaways so consider subscribing and ring the bell to stop today so first things first why on earth would you want a yacht well there’s a few core reasons the luxury heli so depending on your budget your new yacht might come with a helicopter which can be called for a small cost they have a very specific spawn point so they’re not quite as convenient as a sparrow or the oppressor but they’re still very nice some watercraft so that’s a few jet skis and a lovely power boat all of which are stationed off the back of the yacht an additional spawn point so unsurprisingly the yachts have a bedroom so you can spawn in and this can be handy if you have businesses near the southwestern coast or you want quicker access to the los santos airport anti-griefer measures so the yacht comes with a neat defense system that gives you a safe haven it has a couple of caveats but it’s a great way to deal with vehicle-based idiots access to exclusive missions the yacht gives you access to facility specific missions they’re designed for noobs and can be done completely solo and of course it’s a hell of a flex i mean it’s a nice facility to have and one of the most expensive things you can buy in the game so it is a cracking way to show off right we have three different options to choose from with the yachts starting with the orion at 6 million which is a 210 footer and it comes with a single helipad a small two-person canopy runabout and a jet ski the pisces at seven million dollars also a 210 footer but this one comes with two helipads a swift deluxe helicopter the big car speeder which is arguably the best boat in the game a dinghy and two jet skis and a hot tub and finally the aquarius at eight million even now this is the same size and birth as the other yachts 210 feet and has two helipads a hot tub and a dinghy the same as the pisces but comes with the super volito carbon and the toro as well as four jet skis so i’ve gone for the aquarius here but only because it was on super special if i was paying full price the pisces at seven million dollars is a better buy in my opinion the speedboat and their helicopter that come with the pisces are much better and really how often are you using four jet skis at the same damn time next up is the trim chrome is included but you can step it up with gold fittings for an additional seven hundred and fifty 000 lighting and color scheme next now again there is a free option but you can pick from the eight available which will set you back anywhere up to 600 grand sticking with the aesthetics the paint job is next starting with the white paint job and grey trim included and with 12 options ranging in price up to 650 000 and the final option is your flag and yacht name both of which are included in the original price so your minimum out of pocket on this one is six million which gets you the base model yet and nothing else if you have around 8 million to spend though the pisces with a few aesthetic upgrades would be the go right once you’ve decided on your model find somewhere safe open your phone and head to the internet then to vehicles and transport docts and click the galaxy super yacht banner pick your yacht and set your options click buy now and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact close out of the internet by hitting the x up the top right and you’ll see a new notification with the yacht icon top left as well as a new message from the captain of your new vessel after that you can head back out to the free roam lobby and you’ll get yet another notification this time about your chopper if your yacht comes with one and i’ll cover how to call that in in a bit right so once you’re ready head over to your new yacht and take a look around and after you’ve had a bit of an explore head to the helmets where the captain hangs out and into the yellow marker to start yacht missions there are six missions in total and depending on your skill with a chopper a boat and a firearm they’ll take you between eight and twenty minutes each to complete and typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each which means an absolute minimum of 200 missions or 27 hours to break even if you go for the absolute cheapest option and get the maximum payout every time honestly though it’ll be more like 300 missions and 75 hours of grinding at maximum difficulty to get your money back so great flex rubbish investment you do get this sweet captain’s outfit though which is nice oh and there’s a few additional things you can do with the yacht which can come in handy too firstly if you’ve gone for the pisces or aquarius you can call in your helicopter and to do this open your phone and go to contacts toggle down to the captain and give him a call once he picks up select request helicopter which will set you back a thousand dollars now this is a little old school so the chopper will spawn in in one of a few dozen places around the map which was great back in the day but it is pretty inconvenient if you’re used to a sparrow or a mark 2 oppressor but anyway once it’s spawned in you’ll see a new chopper icon on the map head on over and you’re good to go while we’re on the captain’s phone you may have also noticed a few other options you can use this same menu to call in your premium boat which will again spawn somewhere up the coast oh and you can also request a personal vehicle or your next job too should you feel so inclined the next thing you can do is move the yacht around the coastline now again this is a little old school so you can’t actually drive the damn thing sadly it’s not the kasaka but you can have the yacht quick travel to different locations in the lobby or be it at a particularly ouchy cost of 25 grand a throw to do this head to the helm on your yacht and stand next to the captain to trigger a button prompt in the top left of the screen click the button noted and bring up the location menu then you can cycle through the locations until you’ve found the one you’re after your defenses and management is next now to access these you can be anywhere on the yacht or anywhere outside in the free roam map head to the interaction menu that’s m on your keyboard the double squares on your xbox or swipe for your playstation scroll down to services and galaxy super yacht from there there’s a few things you can do to skipping the defenses for a moment we can set up who has access to the boats jet skis and the chopper if you have one we can also change who can access the yacht itself and we can set the type of clothing that people wear in the hot tub if yacht has one finally let’s scroll back up to defenses when these are on and don’t forget to set your exclusions but when these are on any player in the free roam lobby in a vehicle will be targeted by the defense systems oh and this also takes care of guided missiles from the casa too but there’s a rub it’s only players in vehicles if someone swims to yacht they won’t be targeted and will be able to board the vessel so it’s great for mark to inject griefers but not so good for people who are just running around being a pain in the backside oh and one more thing with the defenses when they’re on no one can draw a weapon no one it’s great because you can’t have a griefer come in and shoot up the place but it also means you can’t draw and shoot anyone your own self and that’s about it thanks for watching check out the video at the top for another property and business guide or the GTA Online: How to complete Superyacht Life Missions

Step into the world of luxury and conquer the seas with the Superyacht Life missions in Grand Theft Auto Online . In this high-stakes quest, you are assigned to go against a rival gang’s attempts to disrupt the balance through a series of less-than-legal activities.

From extraction of cargo to killing a few folks, a total of six adrenaline-pumping missions are part of this quest which can be played with up to four players. And with the Weekly GTA Online update, there’s an added incentive—you can now earn a lucrative bonus of $100,000 per mission until May 15, making the rewards as enticing as the thrill of the chase itself.

How to access the Superyacht Life missions in GTA Online

As the name suggests, to play these missions, you must first reach millionaire status by purchasing the Galaxy Superyacht . Once the luxurious boat has been purchased, meet with the captain at the yacht’s bridge to begin the available mission. 

Alternatively, you can call the captain directly and request a job to initiate the quest. Both of these options are available as long as you haven’t completed the whole quest line before.

All Superyacht Life missions in GTA Online

Mission 1: overboard.

The first mission involves a group of thugs stealing the yacht’s jet skis and documents specifying that said yacht is a permanent resident of international waters.

Get on a jet ski and begin tracking down the thugs docked near the Vespucci Canals. Eliminate them and retrieve the docs. While doing this, you will also have a high Wanted level and run to save your life.

After dealing with the enemies, the captain will call again, alerting you that the thugs are part of a rival yacht club. You need to head over there and sink a total of 10 boats.

The last objective is to get rid of your high Wanted level , then the mission is completed.

Mission 2: Salvage

After the success of the first mission, Captain Brendan sends you to collect salvage from the sunken cargo ship near the yacht. To start the mission, speak with the captain and head over to the southern section of the boat. Dive into the water and follow the tracker as it leads you to the cargo.

While underwater, a distress call from Captain Brendan will let you know that he has been kidnapped. Worse, the cargo has been collected from the ship has been stolen. A new objective will pop up, asking you to save the man.

Proceed to the designated location on the map and discreetly eliminate all enemies. If you are detected, the kidnappers will execute the captain. Rescue the captain and rescue the goods to complete the mission.

Mission 3: All Hands

After the events of the second mission, an unknown party starts to set the Pacific Country Club members’ cars on fire, and it’s up to you to stop it.  To extinguish the fire, the captain will direct you to steal an airplane called Tula .

Head over to the Los Santos International Airport and eliminate the 10 coast guards patrolling the entrance. Using stealth can make things easier because getting caught will net you a two-star Wanted level. Simply board the Tula after clearing the guards.

After boarding the airplane, you will see eight water gauges on their HUD that require filling. To do so, land the aircraft on the water and wait until all tanks are filled. Then, proceed to the Country Club’s garage to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival, Kkangpae (the man responsible) and his goons will open fire on the plane, adding another challenge for you to overcome.

Extinguish the fire to receive a call from the captain, who tells you about another garage where Kkangpae’s men have set six more cars on fire. Fly the plane over there and extinguish this fire as well. This time, there is no need to fight anyone: Simply return to the yacht with the Tula after saving the cars to mark the mission complete.

Mission 4: Icebreaker

Captain Brendan formulates a plan to take revenge on Kkangpae and his men. The captain directs you to infiltrate the rival gang’s warehouse near the Cyprus flats by destroying 10 AC units.

This is a straightforward mission where you must destroy all the AC units while surviving the attacks of Kkangpae’s goons. Next, the captain will direct you to steal Benson, a product ready to be sold by the gang, and then to sell it directly to the buyer yourself.

Mission 5: Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage is one of the most intense missions in the Superyacht life questline as it involves surviving three waves of Kkangpae’s men trying to hijack the Super Galaxy yacht in extremely unfavorable weather.

Due to the harsh weather, the yacht generators have malfunctioned, and the anti-aircraft systems have gone down with them. Using this as an advantage, enemies attack the yacht from sea and air alike. It’s up to you to stop them.

You will need heavy armor to withstand the three waves of enemy attacks. The yacht’s generators will reactivate after the first two, triggering the anti-aircraft system, which targets and destroys helicopters surrounding the yacht, making your life easier for the final showdown.

Mission 6: D-Day

Captain Brendan is fed up with Kkangpae and his gang, so he tasks you with eliminating the leader on his yacht. To avoid detection, he advises using a submarine to disarm the mines placed nearby.

Track the yacht and disarm any mines in the vicinity. Once the area is safe, board the ship and take care of Kkangpae and his crew. Expect the leader to flee via his helicopter onboard: Use the RPG to take it and finish GTA Online ‘s Superyacht Life quest in style.

GTA V’s world of Los Santos is a sprawling one that can take an absolute ton of time getting from one side to the other. As such, it’s likely you’re trying to find a way to cut down your travel time, while also looking nice and stylish. GTA V helicopters are a great way to do just that as they’re fast, agile, and fairly small, meaning they’re not as difficult to land as their fighter jet counterparts. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to spawn a helicopter in GTA V on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS3, PS4 and PS5 .

How to Spawn a Helicopter in GTA V on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS3, PS4 and PS5

• Cell Phone  – 1-999-289-9633
• PC  – BUZZOFF (Enter this in the Command Console. This can be opened by pressing the ~ button on your keyboard.)
• PS3 / PS4 / PS5  – O, O, L1, O, O, O, L1, L2, R1, Triangle, O, Triangle
• Xbox One / Xbox 360 / Xbox Series X|S  – B, B, LB, B, B, B, LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y

By entering the cheat code above on your platform, you’ll spawn a Buzzard helicopter right next to you. You’ll then be free to fly it around to your heart’s content.

If you crash or blow it up, you can enter the code again to spawn a helicopter in GTA V once again. Just be a bit more careful with this next one!

List of Helicopter Locations in GTA V

Helicopters are a kind of air vehicles featured in GTA V, they can be commonly seen flying around Los Santos, and piloting a helicopter can be very helpful if you need to get to a very remote place, they are much faster than land vehicles. Helicopters also can be used to explore the city or suburban areas and enjoy the views from high above. Moreover, in some missions, a helicopter will be required to do the tasks, and some collectibles can only be found with the help of a helicopter. Below is a list of the helicopter locations in GTA V and GTA Online (The type of the helicopter at each location is different between the story mode and online). Unlike in GTA IV, none of these helicopters are permanently parked on the locations. So if you don’t see a helicopter in one of the locations, try another.

1. Central Los Santos Medical Center

The Central Los Santos Medical Center is a hospital in Davis, South Los Santos, the roof of the lower section of the hospital building has two helipads, and Air Ambulances (a type of helicopter in the game) can spawn on them. The roof can be accessed via the stairs or the ladders on the walls. Sometimes both helipads have a helicopter, sometimes only one, other times no helicopters at all, the chance to see a helicopter spawned there is higher than many other helicopter locations listed on this page. If you don’t see a helicopter there when you get there, try to leave the area and return after a while, then helicopters will likely spawn there, but this method does not always work. If you still don’t see a helicopter after several visits, consider to go to other locations mentioned below.

2. Davis Sheriff’s Station

The Davis Sheriff’s Station is a two-story police station in Davis, it’s located very close to the Central Los Santos Medical Center, and also features a helipad on the roof. To access the helipad, you can climb to the roof through the ventilation system on the back of the building.

Sometimes a Police Maverick or a Buzzard Attack Chopper can be seen stationed on the helipad, but the chance of this is not very high, usually lower than finding a helicopter on the roof of Central Los Santos Medical Center. However, if you see nothing on the helipad, you can take a look at the roof of the nearby Central Los Santos Medical Center, which is clearly visible from the helipad or the street below, sometimes when you don’t see a helicopter on the police station you will see one stationed on the hospital, and vice versa. But still it’s likely that both buildings have no helicopters on the roof, then you have to go to other locations listed below. As a helicopter on a police station, taking it will attract a one-star wanted level, but can be easily evaded by flying into the sky.

3. The dock of Los Santos Naval Port

There is a helipad on the dock of Los Santos Naval Port in the seaport of Los Santos, and this helipad usually has a chopper parked on it, the chance to see the chopper is higher than most other helicopter locations.

However, the Los Santos Naval Port is a military facility, operated by Merryweather, so it can be a little difficult to obtain the chopper. When the player is very close to the dock, a four-star wanted level will be triggered, and Merryweather guards will start to attack the player, making it hard to get on the chopper. One of the methods to solve this problem is first take out the guards using a sniper before the player is too close to the dock, then you will have enough time to get on the chopper before LCPD comes. To snipe the Merryweather guards, you will need a boat, because the guards will not spawn if you try to snipe them from a great distance. A good location to do this is at somewhere west of the dock, for the west side of the dock has a ladder, through which the player can climb onto the dock.

4. Vespucci Police Station

The Vespucci Police Station is a three-story building in Vespucci, Los Santos, near the Vespucci Canals. Sometimes a Police Maverick can be seen parked on the rooftop of the building, but this is not quite often, the chance to see a chopper there is lower than that of the locations mentioned above. In addition, access to the rooftop of the building is not as straightforward as those other locations, there are more ladders to climb, and these ladders are a little difficult to be found. If you really want to get to the roof, first make your way to the courtyard at the back of the building, and find a stairway on the right hand side to start getting up to the roof.

5. NOOSE Headquarters

The NOOSE Headquarters is a government facility in the Palomino Highlands within the eastern coast of San Andreas. It’s a little far from the city but the chance of finding a helicopter there is quite high, you can almost definitely see a helicopter parked there, except of some special cases which will be explained below. If you don’t want to go that far, consider other locations listed below. The helicopter that can be found there is Buzzard Attack Chopper, it’s stationed on the roof of the building in the facility, you can make your way to it by climbing ladders on the wall of the building. The helicopter may not be seen if you access NOOSE Headquarters via another aircraft. In other cases, you can find a helicopter there without problems. And no wanted level will be given after you take it.

6. The Vespucci Helipad

The Vespucci Helipad is a large heliport in Puerto Del Sol, next to the Puerto Del Sol Marina. Occasionally a NPC-controlled helicopter can be seen landing to one of the helipads, sometimes it’s simply parked there, and still, the helicopter cannot always be found there. So again, if you don’t see it, try to leave the area and get back there after a while. And Franklin or Michael can purchase a helipad in Vespucci Helipad to store the helicopters landed on it or purchased online.

7. Parachute Jumps Locations

If you have completed Dom Beasley’s mission Risk Assessment, Parachute Jumps will be available in many different locations around the State of San Andreas. Some of these Parachute jumps are Helicopter Jumps like the jump in Risk Assessment, and they can be a source for helicopters, as the player can hijack the helicopters used in these jumps. When the player character comes close to the helicopter, holding the enter button will make the character hijack it. Not every parachuting location has a helicopter, many are Base Jumps in which the character will jump off a building or a cliff. In Los Santos, there are 3 parachuting locations that have helicopters, one is in La Puerta, it can be found in the parking area in Puerto Del Sol Marina, next to Puerto Del Sol Yacht Club.

8. Los Santos International Airport

Los Santos International Airport is not only a source for various kinds of airplanes, it also can be a source of helicopters, as sometimes a chopper can be seen parked or landing on a helipad in the airport. The helipad is located near the northeast gate of the airport, to find it you can first enter the airport through that gate (the gate is adjacent to the southeast corner of the overlapped U-shaped roads), then move forward for about 200 feet from the gate, the helipad will be seen on your right hand side. Be aware that entering the airport will trigger a three-star wanted level, this can be avoided if the player purchased a hanger inside the airport, so it’s recommended to buy the hanger first, then it will be much more safe to obtain the chopper.
