This wasn't our first time here and I'm sure it won't be our last. We typically visit once a year while on our annual vacation. We enjoy the atmosphere at the outside bar. Being able to sit in the sun with a drink in hand overlooking the marina is so peaceful here. We didn't order any food but did order a couple of beers and a few orange crushes. I had the Yacht Club Lager. I had a nice conversation with the bartender who advised the Yacht Club Lager was brewed by a local brewery specifically for Ocean Pines Yacht Club. I actually really enjoyed the clean taste and crispness. They were very refreshing to drink in the sun, and for $5/beer I wouldn't have minded staying for a few more. On the other hand, the consensus of the orange crushes was that they were average. We had better orange crushes at a few other venues while we were in the area on vacation. Year after year we still continue to return due to the outdoor bar on the water and will continue to visit each time we vacation in the Maryland/Delaware area.

We've been frequenting the yatch club for years. My in laws live in the pines and go there often. We went for lunch on Sunday and did not stay. There were 4 adults, a baby and a chocolate lab. The hostess gave us an attitude when we asked to sit in the shade and the waitress gave us an attitude about moving to a larger table since we had a stroller and a large dog. Very shocked about how unfriendly the staff was on Sunday. We ended up at South Gate grill with a much larger and shaded experience.

Not sure why so many low reviews, but our party of 5 had an AMAZING and memorable night - on a Saturday night, no less. Live music. Not too crowded (no wait for our table at 7:45 PM). We were seated with the lovely Sophie (give her a raise - she is just terrific) and were outside and the weather was terrific. Until it wasn't. It started raining. Pouring. The band shut down and they quickly moved us inside. Lovely hostesses (3 ladies - one older "manager" type and 2 younger gals). The drinks? $10 each and so delicious. I had a "Strawberry Troops" which was lemonade and vodka with muddled strawberries and lemon slices. So refreshing and just enough vodka. No weak, but not ass-kicking strong. My man and I both love G&T's - and my fave if I am drinking gin is actually with crushed ice and pink grapefruit juice. So, he ordered - get this: "The Monkey Wrench", (again just $10) with Monkey 47 gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice and tonic. It. was. PERFECTION. (I almost ordered it, too - next time I will). I had a few sips. LOL. The food - honestly - was stellar. Maybe we just lucked out - but everyone in our party of five including a 7-year-old (who had the cheese pizza - basically a flatbread - for $10 off the kiddie menu) loved their food. My friend got shrimp and grits (over scrumptious cheesy-grits - I had a bite - so goo!) and her husband got the "Black & Blue flatbread. My man got a black bean burger and upgraded to onion rings. I snagged 2 onion rings. Heavenly! Not greasy, super hot and sweet and crispy. My food? Honestly... Can't stop raving about it. Cheese tortelloni with shrimp and a bit of lump crab meat (not too much - wish there were more - of course) in a pesto-cream sauce (so rich and delicious) with sundried tomatoes (which normally I don't like - but I ate ALL of these - so sweet and tender - not chewy) and - as if the dish was not rich enough - small diced, crisp pieces of PORK BELLY. Oh, my hips! This was a "special occasion" meal - and too much fat and carbs for a regular thing but WOW was that a good (albeit pricey at $32) plate! The view is amazing. The staff was so kind to us. We loved the drinks We savored the food WE WILL RETURN - as soon as we can!

Avoid this place to eat! Go for cocktails and live music. I've brought several friends there in the last month trying to support local businesses. The food presentation rates an F. The price for what you get F. And the taste of food a D for many entrees. They need to improve their kitchen and menu asap!

went to the pool today they took our $20 to let us in and then there were no seats at the pool or no tables available. They would not give us our $20 back when we asked because there was nothing available for us. They insisted that we need to be patient and wait instead of telling there was not any available seating at that current time they did not do that, and they still took our money and refused to give it back. People need to realize that if you go to the pool, they will take your money even if there's no seats that is such a scam!!

Frequent the Yacht club quite a bit with friends on my boat. We like to dock and have lunch at the restaurant. Our last visit may have been our last. My wife and I (both 65) were accompanied by my daughter and 5 of her friends. A girls trip celebrating their 40th birthday year. The server came to our table and asked if we wanted drinks. My daughter ordered first and was carded. All of her friends were carded as well. Being on a boat in bathing suits only half of them had ID. The server wouldn't serve anyone without an ID including my 65 year old wife. I approached the manager who said they have a policy to not serve anyone who looks younger than 35. Obviously this was a CYA for a poorly trained server. Our table simply went to the bar inside and got their drinks with no issue. Terrible response from the "manager". I have options for lunch and will certainly go elsewhere from now on. Food is average so there is no compelling reason to return.

Fun place to enjoy a drink, sit by the fire pit, listen to music and meet lots of great people!

I am thankful for Matt Ortt & Company for bringing our restaurant quality, atmosphere, and hiring smiling wonderful people. The music Thursday thru Sunday is wonderful.

Great time and decent food! Also surprised about the number of low reviews, I thought the place was great in general. There were a few small items that prevented a full 5 stars, but I would certainly go back. My son got the crabcake sandwich and it was very good, I had a taste and no complaints. It wasn't the best crabcake I ever had, but it was solid. I got the club sandwich, and it was also solid and huge, I only ate half for dinner. My wife and daughter got burgers and they were also very good. The only complaints, the host counter when entering was a bit disorganized and the manager was not exactly super friendly when she was figuring out where to seat us, but she could have been having a bad day, not a big deal. My daughter found a small hair in her fries which looked like an eyelash, when we told the waitress she took it off the bill. Finally the service was just a tad slow, but nothing concerning and likely due to being understaffed. The three small items are the only reason I chose 4 stars, but we will certainly be back! Oh and the band - Atomic Light Orchestra, was awesome, and the venue is a great place for watching live music !

The staff and service did an amazing job providing food and beverages for our Ocean Pines Men's & Ladies opening day. The food was amazing, and the staff provided excellent service. We are very fortunate to have this available to our community!
