The Sunreef 60 is an all-around sailing leisure yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, charter, and transoceanic adventures. The bow benefits from a cozy lounge that is well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the generous cockpit extended with a large aft platform. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.
While housing the main helm, the 36m² flybridge of the sailing yacht is dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for movable furniture, a jacuzzi, fully equipped wet bar, a barbecue and large sunpads. The hulls provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite with a walk-in dressing, desk, sofa, retractable TV, and an immense bathroom. This is the perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day of basking in the sun. The new Sunreef 60 Eco has gone all-out in terms of solar power, which should help keep electric motors topped up for extensive adventuring
There’s a rapidly accelerating trend towards maximising the amount of solar power installed on cruising catamarans, which can be seen being taken up a step on the new Sunreef 60 Eco.
Given multihulls ‘ extensive deck areas this makes sense in many ways and obviates the need for a separate diesel generator on an increasing number of craft.
Sunreef has taken this a whole stage further with its latest 60ft sailing catamaran, the Sunreef 60 Eco which is equipped with integrated solar panels that are even built into the hull sides, as well as the superstructure and hardtop. In total up to 17kW of solar can be accommodated in this way. The solar panels were developed in-house and, although they are less than 1mm thick, the Polish company claims they provide a very high degree of resistance to shock and abrasion.
The boat has electric propulsion via twin 70kW electric motors, driven by lithium battery banks of 140-200kW capacity, depending on the option specified. These are sized to be able to run house loads continuously, even overnight, without recourse to the twin 80kW diesel generators that also serve as range extenders.

The highly-specialized lithium battery packs can power all of the yacht's components and appliances for more than 24 hours, including the air-conditioning. Owners have the option of choosing to apply wind turbines, advanced electric propulsion generated from the propeller, and/or customized solar panels made in-house at the shipyard.
The Sunreef 60, "FEEL THE BLUE" is the first to be completed and launched. Perfect for private luxury vacations on the water or to utilize as a yacht charter business, the Sunreef 60 certainly sets the standard in the sailing catamaran category. Sunreef reveals 60 Power Eco

Sunreef’s selection of Eco catamarans cruising at sea just keeps getting bigger, although its newest model is its smallest solar-electric powercat to date.

The 60 Sunreef Power Eco premieres at Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
Sunreef plans to premiere its 60 Sunreef Power Eco at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival on France’s south coast from September 10-15. The Polish shipyard, which also has a growing production facility in the UAE, has long used Cannes and the Monaco Yacht Show a couple of weeks later as its main events to debut new yachts, and this year will be no exception.
The shipyard started showcasing its current New Beginnings range at Cannes in 2018 when it unveiled the Sunreef 80 and 60 sailing cats, adding the 50 (2019) and 70 (2021) in subsequent years. In parallel, the 80 Sunreef Power that premiered at Cannes in 2019 kickstarted the modern powercat range – using completely different hulls to the sailing cats – and was followed by the 60 Power and 70 Power, unveiled at Cannes in 2021 and last year respectively.
As if this wasn’t enough, Sunreef splashed its first 100 Power in late 2021, with the yacht eventually appearing on the cover of Yacht Style ’s Multihull Issue in 2022 and finally making its public premiere at last year’s Palma International Boat Show.
However, Sunreef’s post-Covid focus has been on rolling out its Eco range, which offers the classic models listed above – and even larger sailing cats – with the shipyard’s green tech.
Most obviously, this includes its wafer-thin ‘solar skin’ that can wrap around hull sides, the superstructure, hard top and even the mast, while it also includes custom-engineered batteries and electric motors to produce silent, emission-free cruising and operations. Hydrogeneration systems, ultra-efficient air-conditioning, and even wind turbines are among options.
Eco models have also been led by the sailing side, with the 80 Eco just missing out on a premiere at the Dubai International Boat Show in early 2022, instead debuting at Cannes later in the year. At Cannes last year, the 80 Eco was joined by both the 70 Eco and 60 Eco sailing cats.
On the powercat side, the 80 Power Eco had its world premiere at Cannes last year with Athena Too . The yacht was actually launched after Sol, which had made its way across the Atlantic and was used for the model’s US premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
The most recent Eco model on the water is the 60 Sunreef Power Eco, the smallest Eco powercat to date. Like other Eco models, it offers the shipyard’s revolutionary solar-power system, with photovoltaic cells built into the hulls, superstructure and flybridge hard top. The green energy generated powers both the yacht’s propulsion and onboard appliances, with electric motors fed by an ultralight battery bank for vibration-free cruising.
The 60 Sunreef Power Eco has plenty of deck space
Special features include a large hydraulic swim platform that can carry a tender and double as a ‘private beach’, plus there’s an aft garage for water toys. However, it’s the cockpit and its large table for alfresco dining that better reveal the sheer expanse of the cat due to its whopping 35ft-plus beam. The wide-open space is also felt on the foredeck terrace.
Forward of the windscreen is a sunken lounge including an L-shaped sofa and a table to port, as well as sunpads to starboard, all surrounded by clean deck space that allows people to gather, socialise and admire the view.
A large flybridge offers plenty of room for customisation. Proposed layouts include a bench-seat helm forward, wet bar to port and a dining table placed athwartships, which is moved slightly forward if the owner takes up the enticing option of a spa pool and sunpads spanning the aft end of the top deck.
Although not represented in this article, the saloon in the 60 Power Eco can be customised but is otherwise offered in two basic layouts, all arrangements benefiting from natural light from both the skylight and panoramic glazing.
The choice of galley-up or galley-down – or galleys up and down – can influence the cabin arrangement in the hulls. Without a lower galley, the yacht can offer up to six en-suite guest cabins – three on each side – as well as two en-suite crew cabins, each in the forepeak.
Otherwise, a galley can replace the starboard midships cabin, while a master suite option replaces the two aft cabins in the port hull. The options are almost endless, one reason Sunreef has become so dominant in its sector.

Surreal is a recently launched Sunreef 60 sail catamaran combining the shipyard’s expertise in luxury catamaran design with the latest Sunreef Yachts Eco green tech solutions.
The new Sunreef 60 Eco Surreal, is the first 60 foot catamaran that was equipped with in-house developed composite-integrated solar panels built into the yacht’s hull sides, superstructure and bimini roof, maximizing solar power generation and offering unrivalled energy efficiency for long, vibration and fume-free navigation as well as for the appliances on board.
With a thickness below 1mm, the ultralight solar skin is the industry’s lightest and most efficient solar power solution.
Thanks to their advanced integration technique, Sunreef Yachts Eco solar panels have a very high resistance to shock and abrasion. The catamaran was also fitted with a powerful custom-engineered battery bank.
The luxury sail yacht welcomes up to eight guests thanks to a smart and spacious 4-cabin layout. With a fully-equipped galley placed down in the starboard hull, the catamaran’s saloon offers generous lounging and dining areas. The custom designed interior and furniture are both contemporary and timeless.

NEW 60′ SUNREEF Catamaran
The new Sunreef 60 catamaran is inspired by the future, yet relies on past design principles of proper proportions, elegant lines and unsurpassed build quality. She embodies a completely fresh superstructure concept, a saloon layout plan with an outstanding potential for customization. The Sunreef 60 catamaran features a vast, central lounging space with panoramic views and endless layout possibilities by opening forward onto the bow terrace and aft into the spacious cockpit.
The new Sunreef 60 luxury catamaran is the larger sister of the Sunreef 50’ catamaran . She is an all-around sailing leisure yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures. This model boasts a combination of exterior and interior areas easily flowing into one another. The transition from the cockpit into the salon is completely flush. A clever bridge deck and superstructure design allow for a superior level of comfort onboard whereas the generous teak use, high bulwarks and classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge.
The foredeck area benefits from a cozy lounge, well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the generous cockpit extended with a large aft platform. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.
While housing the main helm, the 400 sqft flybridge is dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for movable furniture, a Jacuzzi, fully-equipped wet bar, a barbecue and large sun pads.
The hulls of the new Sunreef 60’ catamaran provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite with a walk-in dressing, desk, sofa, retractable TV and an immense bathroom. It was previously known as Kuznetsk until 1931, and as Stalinsk until 1961.
Founded in 1618 by men from Tomsk as a Cossack ostrog (fort) on the Tom River , it was initially called Kuznetsky ostrog ( Кузне́цкий острог ). [2] It became the seat of Kuznetsky Uyezd in 1622. [3] Kuznetsk ( Кузне́цк ) was granted town status in 1689. [3] It was here that Fyodor Dostoevsky married his first wife, Maria Isayeva in 1857. [13] Joseph Stalin 's rapid industrialization of the Soviet Union transformed the sleepy town into a major coal mining and industrial center in the 1930s. It merged with Sad Gorod in 1931. From 1931 to 1932, the city was known as Novokuznetsk and between 1932 and 1961 as Stalinsk ( Ста́линск ), after Stalin. As a result of de-Stalinization , it was renamed back to Novokuznetsk .

Within the framework of administrative divisions , Novokuznetsk serves as the administrative center of Novokuznetsky District , even though it is not a part of it. [1] As an administrative division, it is incorporated separately as the Novokuznetsk City Under Oblast Jurisdiction —an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts . [15] As a municipal division , Novokuznetsk City Under Oblast Jurisdiction is incorporated as the Novokuznetsky Urban Okrug . [15] [16] The city consists of six non-municipal intra-city districts : [16]
On 7 December 2009, by a resolution of the Novokuznetsk City Council of People's Deputies, a new version of the City Charter was approved, [16] according to which the authorities consist of:
The Novokuznetsk City Council of People's Deputies is a representative body of power and consists of 18 deputies elected in 18 single-mandate constituencies and 18 deputies elected on party lists. The term of office of deputies is five years. In September 2021, elections were held for the Council of People's Deputies, following which the seats in the council were distributed as follows: 27 - United Russia , 2 - Liberal Democratic Party , 2 - A Just Russia , 2 - Communist Party . The representative of United Russia, Alexandra Shelkovnikova, was elected chairman. The Youth Parliament of the city operates under the City Council of People's Deputies. [19]  A whole network of bodies of territorial public self-government has been created in Novokuznetsk; [20] in total, 60 of them have been created in the city: in the Zavodskoy District - 7, Kuznetsky - 6, Kuibyshevsky - 13, [21] [22] [23] Novoilyinsky - 6, Ordzhonikidzevsky - 9, Central - 16.

Metallurg Novokuznetsk is an ice hockey team based in Novokuznetsk. Formerly a member of the Kontinental Hockey League , the team is currently a member of the Supreme Hockey League . The football team of the same name was recently promoted to the Russian first division below the premier. RC Novokuznetsk compete in the Professional Rugby League , the highest division of rugby union in Russia. Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky , Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Dmitry Orlov and Minnesota Wild winger Kirill Kaprizov were all born in Novokuznetsk and began their pro careers with Metallurg Novokuznetsk. Novokuznetsk is also the birthplace of US chess Grandmaster Gata Kamsky . The main airport is the Spichenkovo Airport . The city is also a major railway junction with both local and long-distance trains. Local public transport is provided by trams, buses, and trolleybuses.  Novokuznetsk has a fairly typical southwest Siberian humid continental climate ( Köppen climate classification : Dfb ) with warm summers during which most of the precipitation occurs, and severe, generally dry winters. Snowfall is very frequent during the winter, but its water content is generally very low due to the cold temperatures.
