The star of the show in sailing yachts since the mid 1960s, Nautor Swan is set to debut their newest power yacht, Arrow, at the Cannes Yachting Festival , September 10-15, 2024. Launched August 28, 2024 at the Sanlorenzo La Spezia shipyard, this elegant, sporty, functional sister cygnet is destined to mature at light speed after her global reveal.
Designed by Nautor Swan power division designer Jarkko Jamsén, with interiors by Ioanna Marinopoulou and Axel de Beaufort, Arrow features a contemporary design with wide open spaces that invite longer, more leisurely cruise experiences. Initially intended to be categorized as a chase boat, Arrow proved her prowess as a stand alone day boat in part due to a rapidly increasing fan base.

The first ever Nautor Swan powerboat launched was the Swan Shadow, followed by an inboard version, the Swan OverShadow, which debuted at Cannes in 2023. As Nautor Group President Leonardo Ferragamo noted, "When it was launched the result was overwhelming as it became a boat of its own, creating its specific niche in our waters and becoming a great day boat." That passion exhibited by the team and shared by the market led to the Swan Arrow, a 75-foot motor yacht displaying the totemic Swan DNA.
Arrow By The Numbers
The Nautor Swan Arrow is built in advanced composites using a mix infused with GRP and carbon. The walkaround design emulates that of a superyacht, but in a more nimble, highly usable format, using less fuel in a more intimate atmosphere. Focused on interaction with the sea, side opening platforms creates a 548 square foot (50 square meter) beach area that floats just above sea level. Convenient fold-down steps take guests right down to the water.

A protected cockpit with an opening roof and pivoting sliding glass doors permits a broad panoramic view. The space refreshes with an al fresco vibe when open, maintaining a cozy feel when enclosed. Designed for comfort, Arrow is versatile in helping guests to enjoy time on board regardless of weather.
Her displacement hull measures 76 feet (23.20 meters) with a 22 foot (6.90 meter) beam and a 6 foot 3 inch (1.90 meter) draft. Her maximum speed is 30 knots in the standard arrangement using two Volvo 1350 D13 Penta IPS engines, or 40 knots with the optional arrangement employing three of the same.

Arrow accommodates six to eight guests and two crew. Descending the stairs, guests looking to port find a dedicated galley that serves the aft master cabin. Reaching across the full beam, the master cabin space boasts a walk-in closet, ensuite bath, and stylish materials typical of Nautor Swan heritage.
Amidships, a VIP cabin and twin cabin, both en suite, deliver private guest spaces. An alternative layout offers two large double cabins with a lounge embracing a starboard salon, L-shaped sofa, and dining area. Away from guest areas, crew space for two is located further forward.

The addition of a power division at Nautor Swan embellishes the brand with a broad appeal, bridging the gap that once separated power versus sail preferences with one brand.
An agreement between Sanlorenzo and Swan for the acquisition of Nautor Swan Group was announced August 1, 2024, but the continuity of the brand is assured through the leadership of Nautor Swan, helmed by Leonardo Ferragamo, retaining the office of President, Massimo Perotti as CEO, and Giovanni Pomati as co-CEO.

The Arrow is not the only Swan with a scheduled debut at the Cannes Show. The Swan Maxi 88 sailing yacht will make her debut, along with the Club Swan 43 . The Swan 88, designed by Germàn Frers with interiors by Misa Poggi, is expected to earn as many admiring looks as the Arrow. The Club Swan 43, designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, is intended to serve as a racing and cruising crossover enhanced by top of industry technology for competitive one-design sailing and a comfortable cruising environment.

The oyster 1225, the oyster 1225 combined the pinnacle of luxury with exceptional sailing capabilities of a large, 120 foot sailing yacht..
With her generous stowage and large tankage she was perfectly provisioned for extended ocean passages and global adventures in complete luxury and comfort. She offered the ultimate sailing experience for guests, featuring state-of-the-art 4 spreader fractional carbon spar configured for a fully battened, in-boom furling mainsail and a roller furling headsail. She was constructed to meet stringent DNV-GL build and safety standards, and was also compliant with the MCA LY3 yacht code.
This large, 120 foot sailing boat was designed for entertaining in style, with wide, flush fore and aft decks provided perfect spaces for guests to entertain and enjoy. The sunken tender well doubled as a chillout lounge and outdoor cinema. The enclosed cockpit, protected by a hard top bimini, made a beautiful space for al fresco entertaining. Below, the split-level saloon accommodated up to 12 guests in style. The generous stowage space provided plenty of room for watersports and adventure equipment. In addition, she featured a large superyacht style swim platform as standard.
The exceptional volume of the 1225 meant the interior layout was versatile and highly-customisable to suit one’s personal tastes. The focus was on luxury and comfort, with beautiful hand-crafted furniture, solid wood throughout and meticulous attention to detail. Up to 12 guests could be accommodated in the generous and luxurious ensuite owner and guest cabins – all aft guest cabins featured the signature seascape windows, flooding cabins with light. Forward are dedicated crew cabins and a mess for up to six crew with separate access, which afforded guests complete privacy. At the opposite end, the stern is equipped with a hydraulic swim platform and a fixed sun lounger that is integrated into the garage door. (The garage can accommodate a 20-foot tender and two Jet Skis.) Up the stairs and through the glazed safety gates lies the aft cockpit, or what Sunseeker describes as a “penthouse terrace.” The alfresco space sports a sizable bar and plenty of comfy seating.
The light and airy living quarters were brought to life by Design Unlimited. Rich stone finishes create a sumptuous feel, while reflective surfaces and statement lighting add brightness onboard. Spanning 1,300 square feet, the open-plan main deck gives seafarers uninterrupted views from the dining area to the salon. The generous galley is located on the port side and allows the crew to easily service all areas.
Further forward on the starboard side sits the owner’s suite. Furnished to the highest standards, the stateroom is adorned with an upholstered bed, chaise lounge, mirror TV, marble bulkheads, and floor-to-ceiling windows. It leads to a dressing room with a vanity desk and a marble-clad en suite with dual basin and a walk-in rain shower. In addition, two spacious double staterooms and two twins on the lower deck can sleep 10 guests, while three cabins at the bow can accommodate five crew.

The history of Swan Maxis begins early on, a few years after the establishment of Nautor. An expert client asked for a 17 m Sparkman & Stephens. It was the year 1970 and the magnificent Swan 55 took shape. At that time, it was one of the largest yachts in the world to be produced in series and in fibreglass. Sixteen were built, in both yawl and sloop versions.  The architectGerm á n frers. “The new Swan 120 Superyacht encompasses Nautor´s philosophy and DNA on its largest expression. This core element of the experience afloat is completely free of lines, enabling those not engaged in the sailing of this sublime superyacht to truly relax while underway. The detailed design conceals a sophisticated, electrically controlled bimini top and sprayhood, which disappear into a completely flush coach roof cassette when not in use, and offers extensive shelter from sea and sun. At anchor, the cockpit area transforms into an encompassing lounge space. With versatile deck sofas, it is the perfect place to unwind as the sun sets before converting into an elegant, intimate dining area. Following the philosophy of other designs in the Maxi Swanline, the Swan 120 also offers ‘aisle seats’ to enhance both the sailing and leisure experience. Aft of the deck lounge is a clean deck space, still sheltered by the coamings, which runs to behind the steering pedestals with ‘aero-seating’. In-between the helming stations, it is possible to incorporate a ‘snug-island’, which provides protected access to the aft accommodation with a dodger, sprayhood and cozy seating for those on watch. The voluminous stern section will gain real attention when the yacht is at rest. The transom folds down hydraulically to form a teak-decked swim platform and reveala a spacious garage, housing a tender of 4.5 metres and other toys of choice. Once the tender is launched, the large area becomes available for watersports, sunbathing and even dining. The design means the clean Swan stern under sail effortlessly transforms into a large ‘beach-deck’, connected to a well-organised ‘hangar’ for maximum entertainment at anchor. In addition to the stern platform swinging down, a section of the aft-deck may be opened up to convert into a large sunbed at deck level. The hull and deck of the Swan 120 will be a full carbon fibre construction, using epoxy SPRINT® pre-preg carbon fibre interior and exterior skins on a core of M-grade Corecell foam. The pre-preg system provides the best in structural stiffness and rigidity at the lightest possible weight, while at the same time ensuring absolute structural integrity. The hull will be laid up in a female mould tooled from the same technology, thereby ensuring identical mechanical properties when the hull undergoes heat curing using the very latest in oven technology.  with options  The interior designerMisa Poggi has developed a sophisticated theme specifically for the Swan 120 project, featuring the finest Italian textiles and leathers to create the ultimate ambiance in comfort and luxury, for the Owner as well as family and guests. Stunning curved glazing separates the cockpit from the interior, offering an ultra-private space for socialising. The flybridge offers a sensational retreat for owners and their guests. The aft deck is thoughtfully conceptualised with loose furniture from recommended suppliers, including three sun loungers, a large sofa and four comfortable lounging chairs. At the centre of this incredible entertainment space lies a dining table for twelve guests, serviced by a large wet bar and four bar stools. There is no shortage of space on board the revolutionary flybridge, with over 71 metres squared of living space. Forward of the raised pilot house lies an elevated foredeck. A huge C-shaped seating group with twin tables complements the spa tub and a four-person sunpad. Thoughtful design ensures seamless movement and ample space for both guests and crew. Convenience is paramount, with strategic access points facilitating ease of service and navigation. The main deck galley, conveniently located on the port side, offers direct access to the flybridge for efficient servicing. Guests can ascend to the flybridge via the aft cockpit staircase, seamlessly transitioning into the living space. For uninterrupted access from stern to bow, a starboard side entrance from the raised pilot house ensures seamless connection from flybridge to forepeak. This spacious yacht offers sleeping accommodation for ten guests in a four-guest cabin configuration, each with an en suite, below deck and a private owners stateroom on the main deck.  First look: Swan 120 – designed for outside living
At the recent Monaco Yacht Show, we took a look at several of the featured new yachts on display, including the new Swan 120  Being moored stern-to in Monaco’s Port Hercule during the recent Monaco Yacht Show 2021 was the perfect place to showcase a trump feature of the Swan 120. Its ‘beach deck’ with a twin set of steps that gently lead down from the aft deck will rival some of the aft ends of the surrounding motoryachts. The new Swan 98 and and Swan 120 are the latest in Swan’s new generation German Frers-designed range of performance cruisers. These powerful, beamy designs sport twin rudders and plenty of form stability in a style which has already proven popular over the last three years with the 65 and 78. These latest superyacht versions are of carbon-epoxy construction. Geared around ocean passagemaking at speed they come with the option for a telescopic keel, which buys improved windward performance paired with shoal draught capability.  By carrying almost max beam right aft on the Swan 120, designer Frers has created the multiple benefits of form stability, huge volumes below and the space to create this aft hangar-slash-beach terrace area. The transom folds down hydraulically revealing a garage for a 4.5m tender and various toys. Deck lounging space has clearly been a key criteria of the design. The vast guest cockpit is adorned with multiple sofas and can be protected by a bimini and sprayhood which rise out of a coachroof cassette at the push of a button. A 1.8m-wide companionway of curved glass then eases you into the deck saloon where there are vast daybeds adjacent to the large hull portlights.
