The SEAWIND was the first, as well as one of the last, boats built by Allied Boat Company. In 1978 it was brought back into production and actually built simultaneously with the newer SEAWIND II.

SEAWIND MK II KETCH (ALLIED)
The SEAWIND II was introduced as the successor to the original SEAWIND (1962). It was over a foot longer, over a foot wider, had more sail area, and weighed an additional 2100 pounds. The price was also significantly higher and the builder continued to build both versions until 1982. Also available as a cutter (11 delivered) or sloop (5).
