Mit der Einrichtung eines Winterlagers für Yachten fing alles vor mehr als 30 Jahren an.
1984 haben wir begonnen einen trockenen Platz für Yachten einzurichten – für einen fachgerechten „Winterschlaf“ der Boote. Deshalb auch der Name „Sleepy“ für unser zwei Jahre später gegründetes Yachttransport-Unternehmen. Heute, über drei Jahrzehnte später, verfügen wir international über einen ausgezeichneten Ruf als erfahrener und kompetenter Partner für den Transport und die Lagerung von Yachten sowie für Behälter, Tanks und andere Spezialtransporte. Wir entwickeln unser Leistungsportfolio stetig weiter, um auf aktuelle Marktanforderungen und Wünsche unserer Kunden zu reagieren. So kümmern wir uns heute ebenfalls um Spezialtransporte von Gütern, die in Länge, Breite und Höhe über das normale Maß hinausgehen. Hierfür verfügen wir über einen Fuhrpark modernernster Transportfahrzeuge, mit dem wir auch komplexe Herausforderungen kompetent, sicher und zeitnah bewältigen können.
Zum inhabergeführten Team von Sleepy gehören heute über 40 qualifizierte und gut ausgebildete Mitarbeiter. Ob Berufskraftfahrer, Disponent, Sachbearbeiter oder Werkstatt: Unsere Fachleute kennen sich mit allen Aufgaben und Herausforderungen beim Transport anspruchsvoller Güter aus und sind durch regelmäßige Fortbildungen immer auf dem aktuellen Stand. Auch komplexe Aufgaben werden zuverlässig von uns erledigt. Dabei decken wir sämtliche Arbeiten von der Disposition über Verpackung und Transport bis zur Ein- und Zwischenlagerung ab. Damit wir auch in Zukunft die hohen Ansprüche mit einem kompetenten Team erfüllen können, bilden wir unsere Berufskraftfahrer und kaufmännischen Fachleute selbst aus.

30 YEARS OF YACHT TRANSPORT WITH SLEEPY
This year, Sleepy from Heikendorf near Kiel, specialists in yacht transport and logistics will celebrate their 30th birthday. The founder Holger Stürck and Wilfried Brink, as well as co-partner Ingo Schinkel, lead a company with its head office in Heikendorf and a branch in Würzburg.

Sleepy has a state-of-the-art fleet of trucks from leading manufacturers. All of their vehicles have latest generation technology and all have sat-nav systems. Sleepy only uses trailers and semitrailers with air or hydraulic suspension to ensure the most secure transport possible. All of their vehicles have been tailored to the respective transport requirements and tested in depth.
