Motor Yacht

Luxury motor yacht Mosaique, built in 2001 by Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise Yachts, is a combination of elegant lines and timeless design. With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she features exterior design by Dubois Naval, while her interior is the work of Donald Starkey and Kristina Ferrand. Built for a British owner, this stylish vessel measures 50 metres and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The luxury yacht was created as the larger more modern sister of Turquoise; the shipyard’s first foray into the top level of superyacht construction. Mosaique was designed to reflect the ambience of a traditional country house, a feeling evident throughout her main deck saloon, spacious sun decks and aft decks, luxurious interiors and opulent staterooms.

Her saloon found on the main deck is home to a surround-sound cinema and linked to an elegant games room which leads through to a formal dining room large enough to seat all 12 guests at one meal. Mahogany panelling and satinwood banding decorate the spacious areas, complemented by soft neutral carpets and a wide range of artwork. This final decoration, from the fabrics and carpets to the furniture and artwork is the selection of designer Kristina Ferrand.

The superyacht’s sundeck is perhaps her most impressive feature, featuring a Jacuzzi pool surrounded by sunpads and loungers, a bar, and two tables for alfresco dining. The upper deck also houses a scenic alfresco dining option, seating up to 16 guests around a large teak oval teak table sheltered by the sun deck that sits above. Here can also be found a complete gym protected by a bimini shade.

Amongst her six cabins are an indulgent master suite; a VIP stateroom; and four guest staterooms. The full beam master suite is situated on the main deck and boasts a private study, seating area and a lavishly decorated bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and steam shower. The VIP stateroom can also be found on the main deck, while the guest suites are laid out over the lower deck. Each cabin features a fully integrated audiovisual system and is decorated with mahogany and silk panelling and onyx and marble bathrooms.

The luxury superyacht underwent refits in 2005 and again in 2007. Interior refurbishments in the guest cabins were completed during the first refit as well as the installation of V-Sat and zero speed stabilizers. 2007 saw the addition of a new audio visual system, bimini shade, and further interior refurbishments including new fabrics, deck cushions and carpets in some rooms. A new custom built boat deck table and side screen for the boat deck and lower deck were also added during the refit.

Featuring a dedicated crew, Mosaique is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations. The yacht cruises comfortably at 14 knots while her crew of 13, under the direction of Captain Clive Willenbrock, ensure the needs of every guest are met.

Boasting a full range of exciting entertainment options, Mosaique includes a DVD, CD, book and game library among her extensive list of amenities.

The luxury motor yacht is equipped with an armada of water toys to provide endless entertainment during any yacht charter. Onboard water toys include tenders, Jet Skis, donuts, an inflatable trampoline, water-skis, wakeboards, tows, a kayak, windsurfer, dive compressor, beach volleyball set and a range of fishing and snorkelling equipment. A swimming platform provides guests with easy access to the ocean for using the toys or tenders, all of which are storable in the lazarette when not being used.

With a base in the south of France, Mosaique cruises the Mediterranean during the summer charter season and the Caribbean during winter.

Designed by the world-renowned Dubois Naval Architects, the 164' (49.9m) MOSAIQUE is a sophisticated and stylish superyacht offering incredible interior volumes and spacious decks to make the most of her stunning Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising grounds. Delivered in 2002 by the Turkish Turquoise (Proteksan) shipyard, MOSAIQUE has been carefully maintained, including an extensive 2017 refit and further upgrades in 2020, leaving her in pristine condition for a luxurious charter vacation with family and friends.

MOSAIQUE’s Kristina Ferrand interiors have a comfortable home-from-home traditional ambiance that would not be out of place in a well-heeled Hamptons beach house. Whitewashed wood paneling, crisp white walls, ceilings and furnishings further enhance the bright and airy feel throughout with generous windows allowing in floods of natural light. Pops of bright blue, taupe and subtle grey reflect the crystal seas and blue skies of her cruising grounds. Social spaces are cozy and inviting, allowing for intimate moments and total relaxation. The main salon offers a charming lounge with armchairs and sofas in a conversational arrangement around a large glass coffee table. There is also a huge, widescreen TV neatly concealed in a console but raised at the press of a button for onboard movie nights, complete with cinema-style surround sound.

The living area connects directly to a games room/library with a small table and chairs, which, in turn, leads through sliding glass doors to the formal dining room and its elegant table for 12. After dinner, the light, bright sky lounge is the ideal place for after-dinner drinks at the bar or simply as a place to escape with a good book during the day.

The same cheerful, elegant décor can be found in MOSAIQUE’s six staterooms providing luxurious havens for her 12 guests. The full-beam, main deck master suite sets the tone for the remaining five staterooms featuring king size bed, separate study and bathroom lavishly decorated in opulent onyx and marble. The VIP stateroom is also on the main deck and showcases a queen size bed, a lovely seating area and an en-suite bathroom with a full tub. The remaining four staterooms—three doubles and one twin with a Pullman bunk—are on the lower deck, each one offering dedicated en-suite facilities and impressive entertainment centers.

As fantastic as her interiors are, outside is where MOSAIQUE really shines, with plenty of space for dining, relaxing and entertaining across her three decks. The main deck aft offers shaded alfresco dining and is the go-to spot for leisurely breakfasts and morning coffee while planning the day’s activities. For more formal alfresco dining, the upper deck offers a beautiful teak table seating 16 with leaves that can be removed for more intimate occasions. There are also sun loungers and integrated sofa seating for tanning or after-dinner star gazing with a nightcap in hand.

Crowning it all is MOSAIQUE’s spacious sundeck with everything to satisfy the most discerning, sun-seeking guests. There’s a Jacuzzi with a swim-up bar surrounded by sun pads for reclining and drying off after a soak. For the more fitness minded, there’s a shaded open-air gym with a running machine, recumbent bike, training bench and weights. A lounge area with tables is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or snacks throughout the day.

When at anchor, MOSAIQUE’s beach club and toy box turn her into a veritable playground with an array of water sports to keep every guest happy. There are Yamaha three-seater Jet Skis, a vast selection of towable toys, wakeboards, water skis, snorkeling and diving equipment, as well as kayaks for exploring tucked-away beaches and coves. Her two tenders, including a 26'3" Zodiac, are on hand to transport guests in style from her ample swimming platform.

A General Description of Motor Yacht MOSAIQUE

MOSAIQUE is ex project/yacht name Nb35. This 50 metre (164 foot) luxury yacht was made at Proteksan Turquoise Yachts in 2001. Motor Yacht MOSAIQUE is a spacious superyacht. The naval architect responsible for her drawings on the yacht was Dubois Naval Architects. The vessel had interior design work was the work of the talented Donald Starkey Designs / Kristina Ferrand. Luxury yacht MOSAIQUE is a handsome yacht that can sleep up to 10 passengers on board and has a total of 11 qualified crew.

Building & Yacht Design of Luxury Yacht MOSAIQUE

Dubois Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the technical vessel composition for MOSAIQUE. Also the company Dubois Naval Architects expertly collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Donald Starkey Designs / Kristina Ferrand was responsible for the internal interior styling. Turkey is the country that Proteksan Turquoise Yachts built their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 2001 in Istanbul she was thereafter delivered on to the happy owner having completed final finishing. A fairly large area is brought about with a total beam (width) of 9.3 m / 30.5 feet. With a 2.74m (9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built from aluminium.

Engines & Speed On M/Y MOSAIQUE:

The 3508B engine installed in the motor yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The engine of the yacht produces 1100 horse power (or 809 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The combined power for the yacht is accordingly 2200 HP or 1619 KW. As for stabalisers she was supplied with Koopnautic.

Providing quarters for a limit of 10 welcome guests spending the night, the MOSAIQUE accommodates everyone in luxury. Normally the vessel requires around 11 proficient crew members to run.

MOSAIQUE motor yacht is well-equipped with an abundance of water toys for endless hours of fun on or below the waves, under the watchful eye of the crew. Guests can go for a ride on the wave runners; water-ski, knee or wake board behind one of the fast tenders; take a hair-raising trip on one of several inflatables; enjoy the underwater world by snorkeling, go fishing, kayaking or windsurfing. MOSAIQUE's crew are more than happy to arrange theme nights on board or they are always available with the tenders to take a trip onshore for sightseeing and shopping or to prepare a sumptuous barbecue on a secluded beach. Designed by the world-renowned Dubois Naval Architects, Mosaique is a sophisticated and stylish luxury yacht which, thanks to her thoughtful and creative design she retains a sense of intimacy throughout her spacious decks and luxurious suites.

Featuring all the elements necessary to set the perfect tone for relaxation in the luxurious settings of Mosaique’s ample main deck saloon, linked by an elegant foyer that leads to the formal dining room for 12. The spaces are gracefully decorated with a palette of modern, classic tones, set off by neutral carpets and soft furnishings, the upper deck saloon offers a charming alternative.

On the main deck of Mosaique superyacht , the magnificent, full beam master suite sets the standard for the remaining five staterooms, boasting a separate owner’s lounge area and a stunning bathroom lavishly decorated in onyx and marble. A fully integrated audio-visual system supplies all the cabins with an impressive selection of entertainment options.

Mosaique yacht’s sundeck is a highlight of the design and incorporates a Jacuzzi pool surrounded by sun pads and loungers, a bar and two tables for informal, alfresco meals, allowing guests to drift through the day enjoying the finest cuisine and service in great privacy. This deck also hosts the yachts gym equipment, which consists of a running machine, recumbent bike, training bench and weights. The bimini shade offers protection for maximum comfort.

The middle deck offers a great alfresco dining option with seating for up to 16 guests around a beautiful oval teak table with removal leaves to create a more intimate dining experience.

Mosaique’s stabilisers underway and at anchor make being at sea or anchoring in idyllic, secluded spots comfortable and relaxing and with a choice to zip ashore for lunch or water ski with one of the yacht’s two tenders. The abundance of water toys on board Mosaique superyacht including jet skis, paddle boards, inflatables and much, much more are guaranteed to make days on board fun filled and exciting from dawn to dusk.
