• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator

• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.

Where do we fly into to take our whitsunday superyach charter.

Getting here has never been easier as thankfully there are direct flights from all domestic airports into Hamilton Island Airport or Proserpine Airport ( also known as the Whitsunday Coast Airport). The connection between Hamilton Island and the Marina is approx 5 minutes by our private transfer team. The drive from Proserpine Airport to the Coral Sea Marina is 38km and takes approx 34 minutes. 

WHERE DO WE EMBARK/DISEMBARK?

When securing your Whitsunday Luxury Yacht Charter, you will have the choice of embarking/disembarking from the Hamilton Island Marina or the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach. 

What is the charter course?

When securing your Whitsunday Luxury Yacht Charter, we will compile a draft itinerary for your perusal which is generally determined based on the number of nights secured and your overall preferences. The draft itinerary will be presented to you with the opportunity to make any changes as required, this will then become the final itinerary the captain signs off on. Three days prior to your charter commencing, our charter experts and captain will re confirm your itinerary based on the current weather conditions and make any changes as they see fit and if required. Once your charter has commenced, the captain will sit with guests every morning after breakfast has been taken to update the clients on the daily cruise route and activities and advise if any changes need to be made based on current weather conditions. Safety and comfort of our guests is paramount.

WHEN DO WE MEET OUT CREW?

Crew profiles will be sent to you prior to your charter commencing. This will allow familiarity once onboard and your charter is underway, providing you with a more personal and tailored charter experience. Upon embarking the vessel, our crew will all be gathered to meet and introduce themselves to you in person, this is an important part of the charter as we believe the crew make up such an important aspect of the charter itself, if not the most important aspect in delivering the clients expectations.

ARE WATER TOYS INCLUDED?

Yes, our Whitsunday Superyachts include an extensive list of water toys which are all inclusive. When our experts provide you with Whitsunday Charter proposals, the full list of water toy inventory will be outlined and all water toys vary from yacht to yacht. If there is something specific you wish to have onboard we can certainly accomodate and please dont hesitate to discuss this with our expert team.

WHAT IS AN APA?

An APA is a refundable portion of your vessel hire ( less GST), Advanced Provisional Allowance. The APA covers the cost of fuel, food, wines and liquors, dockage and communications, etc. All monies are strictly accounted for by receipt and presented back to you at the end of the charter. Any APA not used will be returned to you prior to disembarking. These are the terms and conditions of our MYBA Contract.

Provisioning and Other Fees

AUD 2,400 per day for APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) and taxes, including crew costs.

The Advanced Provisioning Allowance covers all costs for the guests during their stay onboard: food, beverages, crew, fuel and use of the equipment including jet tender and flite-board.

After a reconciliation of expenses, should the APA not be sufficient to cover all costs, an invoice with additional charges will be sent to the guest.

Conversely, if guests have not spent all of their APA, they will receive a refund with the difference.
