About this Cruise
Learn first-hand about river lore, locks, and dams from the captain's commentary as you cruise upriver through the Meldahl Lock and Dam. Historic river towns provide a lovely backdrop for your journey through the Ohio River's rich past. Round trip ticket includes a deluxe breakfast and dinner buffet plus a variety of games and entertainment. Lunch is on your own, or if you choose, a cash snack bar will be available.

One of our stops on our bus trip was a riverboat cruise of the Ohio River. We were there for an afternoon sightseeing cruise on the Belle of Cincinnati which lasted about 1.5 hours. This cruise took us up and down the Ohio River. The narrator pointed out buildings on both the Kentucky and Ohio sides. He gave us a lot of history of the area.

Take Exit 1A toward Newport, Kentucky. Merge onto I-471 South. Take Exit #5, which is the Newport Bellevue Route 8 exit. Turn left onto Dave Cowens Drive. Follow to Washington and turn left. Follow to 3rd St. (Rt. 8) and turn right. Follow straight for 1/4 mile into the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout back onto 3rd St.
